The fact that they took away the ability to get painted fenders on the Rubicon, and had to go with a Rubicon X is one example of what the head of Jeep was talking about.
I suspect, CDJR is getting ready to split off from Stellantis. Tim Kuniskis has taken himself out of the running, for Stellantis CEO. Also they’re being very hush-hush on who this new CEO will be. Because of Europe, they’re not budging on their emissions standards.
Interesting. Are you saying Kuniskis is not interested in the new CDJR Head position.. or that he's taken himself out of the Stellantis CEO because of the upcoming split. I don't know.. I think CDJR is their cash cow.. so hard to let them go.
@ I’m guessing it’s probably because of the upcoming split. It just seems inevitable, because Trump might be going after Stellantis. Exor will still be the majority owner, but they’ll bring in probably bring in American investors due to pressure from the Trump administration via a possible SEC investigation. As, Trump has tapped U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno(R-OH) as “Stellant Czar to go after them.
Stellantis will screw it up. They haven't figured out what Jeep isn't yet. It's not Land Rover, it's not complicated EV/hybrid drivetrains. It is simple rugged capability. And not at Lexus prices either!
There is lots of complexity regardless of electrification. Granted, it does add another wrinkle but it's still interesting to see how things progress. I test drove a 4xe Wrangler and own a RAV4 Prime. I loved the 4xe drivetrain, they've just had a number of issues with the battery. Personally, i'm looking forward to see what Kuniskis will do with the RamCharger. That things is gonna be nuts.
Give us the 392 Gladiator
Please.. please.... please.... but without the 100K pricetag.
And make it reliable.
@@kenfrank2730 Absolutely.. hopefully give us a longer warranty to give consumers more confidence in the brand.
We definitely could used some freedom and fresh air in the gladiators/wranglers. We need more options, colors and fun packages!

It’s either CDJR gets split off or Stellantis as a whole goes bankrupt.

You're spot on.
4XE? Really? What a joke. Nobody wants that complexity.
