That's awesome. I bought a similar Sport-S with Bikini Pearl. Love it. Only thing i'd recommend is really go thru it with a fine tooth comb checking for any signs of corrosion. Congrats.

The fact that they took away the ability to get painted fenders on the Rubicon, and had to go with a Rubicon X is one example of what the head of Jeep was talking about.

You have to tie into the turn signal wiring. You need to pull back the liner in the fender well to get access to the wiring. I started to do it.. but decided not to. May do it later with an updated video.

Really hard to get the measurement totally accurate. The most reliable way is to really use a gps to measure and compare. If you want to be spot on.

Yeah, they do. Still getting used to it. Actually the plastic one's might be better for that. I saw some plastic round ones for the cup holder that may actually work a little better. But it was the one's where you had to remove the net to install.

You can find a 2 door JK probably pretty cheap. Things to be aware of though. Make sure you get a good inspection, as there are issues with the rocker arms and oil cooler. I'd recommend getting a 2015 or later to help with those issues. Good luck.

Those TJ's are great dedicatd off-road vehicles. Didn't like their regular road manners all that much though. Yeah.. that striaght 6 was durable.. but the Penestar has proved to be pretty durable as well.

Increase the quality.. and to reassure consumers, increase the warranty.

Yeah, I might do that. I wanted to keep the stock nets in there in case I sell it. and it looks stock.

I have not had any issues with IBS.. but that also a common reason why the Auto Stop/Start might not be working. Thanks for sharing!!

@ Before Kuniskis left, he talked about developing a new V8 engine that’s more efficient and lighter to replace to replace the ancient extremely heavy Cast Iron 5.7L Hemi but Tavares killed it. Plus the supplier for the Hemi engines moved on.

Did you watch the video? They are coming out with a Range Extending Wagoneer S.. just like the RamCharger, which is what most Americans want. It's an EV, with an on-board generator. May you don't want that.. but 75% of folks who want are interested in a Scout or RamCharger/REV. would prefer one that also has an ICE acting as a generator.

​@The.Garage.Studio I'm not disputing the fact that the majority of Jeep customers don't want an EV in the first place, but those who ordered a Wagoneer S do. If - for any reason - Stellantis is unable to get that vehicle right, customers will not simply abandon the idea of going EV. They will simply switch brands. In addition to that, the Wagoneer S and the Ram 1500 Ramcharger do not share the same platorm. The Wagoneer S is sitting on the STLA Large Transverse while the Ramcharger is sitting on the STLA Frame.

@@FloridaWildlife1 Don't know where your other post went.. but you're correct on the Wagoneer S being built on the STLA Large platform. At least that's what the web says. But.. supposedly there will be a wagoneer and grand wagoneer that will use the STLA Frame and be Range Extending. @@The.Garage.Studio Yes, that is correct. It has been confirmed that the (Grand) Wagoneer is going to get the Ramcharger powertrain configuration. There are rumors about potential other future powertrains (incl. ICE) about the Wagoneer S but nothing has been confirmed yet. As you know, the Wagoneer S is significantly smaller than the (Grand) Wagonner or RAM so a simple 1:1 introduction of that powertrain may not be that simple.

@@FloridaWildlife1 The article is confusing.. Looks like there are like 3 different wagoneer's. The Wagoneer S (BEV), the Wagoneer 4xe (must be larger than wagoneer S but on the STLA Frame architecture), and the Grand Wagoneer 4xe. Guess only time will tell. But you're right.. for sure there will be no Wagoneer S 4xe on the smaller vehicle.

I'm hoping Jeep will be able to get JLU Sport-S's for 30K. They do that, and that Sahara isn't much off that 37K mark. I'm hoping.

Blame the EPA on this one. Jeep is doing everything they can to stay compliant while still giving us decent power.

What are they asking. Do you have a carfax link you can send me. I would say walk away.. if a JL has corrosion and it still is under the 5 year corrosion warranty and the dealer give you a great deal.. at least you can get it fixed. With a 2018.. it will be on your dime, and typically once it starts it just spreads and get's lots worse.

@The.Garage.Studio They are asking $25,000 CDN, we are in Canada. I don't have Carfax information, but theybwere looking at it when we were there and it has to go for clutch recall. It's outside warranty.

@@googlreviews7813 Yeah.. that's a decent price. I'm not sure how prevelant corrosion is in Canada than the U.S... but assuming it's a bit worse given all the additional snow and rain. I'd look around just a little more and see how much corrosion you see on other used Wranglers. Whateever you decide.. good luck.

They do really need to bring back prices to something a little more reasonable.. and because of all the quality issues, also need to increase the warranty coverage. I'm just hoping CDJR get's spun off into a seperate entity with some U.S. Leadership. The CDJR brands have always been known for bad ass muscle cars or off-road rugged beasts at a fair price. Let's hope the brand get's back to it's roots!!

I think the consumers need not only a apology for building shit jeep's. But to give- back ! If my dealer said, ya know, you're looking for a Willys 4-door ? I probably wouldn't hesitate if he said, base @ $46,000. option's you want or need ? MSRP= $ 52,000.00 I'd probably take it. But, starting base at 56 g's ? Come on !

On E-Torque engines, they don't have an auxiliary battery. So weird in the early years of the JL the E-Torque system was on the 2L engine, then around 2020 they moved it to the V6. I drove a V6 with E-Torque.. man was it sweet.

@ Actually, I have an etorque engine with an auxiliary battery. I even changed it once, it worked for a short time, then nothing. Crappy system. Now the A light is on because the main battery went dead and had to be recharged. If anybody knows how to get rid of that damn light without digging out the auxiliary battery, I’m all ears!

So true. It's sort of a little warning system for a bad battery.. I have the Smart Stop/Start system on it now though, so it stays off all the time.

Most of it is about build quality. Better build, better materials = more expensive.

Yep, for sure. I actually have my Smart Stop/Start dongle attached to it as well. No problems..
