It's so funny, people who want to hand over their own country to other countries to manage. If you really come to China, you can't stand scolding the government. Low income, low human rights, low welfare and high housing prices, high employment pressure and high pressure to enter higher education, all the problems that Japan and South Korea encountered before, China has no shortage of them. In Shanghai, China, the housing price of 1 square meter is more than 20,000 US dollars. If you can tolerate these, welcome to China.

This also results in reduced cost of production. Another input that facilitates lower cost for similar quality goods is the cost of borrowing and availability of credit. Loans to businesses is between 3% and 5% interest. Where have you seen rates thar low in the last decades. The feds were lending to the development banks at less than 1%. Those funds were subsequently loaned to businesses at 10 to 14%. Now the feds is forced to offer as high as 5%.

The development plans of solar energy, electric vehicles, batteries, raw materials and other industries are completely led by the Chinese government, which has planned decades of development strategies and related supporting measures. This is what a government should do. Only the Chinese government in the world has this ability, unlike other countries' governments that are controlled by capital and whose national development strategies are affected by a few monopoly industries. People cannot imagine the power of mass production. For example, recently a Taiwanese writer posted a story, she visited Kunming China a few days ago and bought a bunch of flower from a local peddler for only 5rmb (less than one US dollar). She thought the peddler must have almost zero profit. She doesn't know that the flowers are free for the peddler because Kunming has a large flower market, every night flowers that cannot be sold are just thrown away. Some local people go to the market at night to pick up whatever flowers they like. Some of them sell these free flowers to other people to earn some money.

Civilization aside, Nigeria started the same level of economy in terms of manufacturing and industrialization with China, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan (not a country but province of China). Unfortunately, due to institutionalized corruption, lack of good governance and benevolence leadership (lack of futuristic foresight) and evil SAP and devaluation of currency forced by western monetary system on Nigeria during Babangida military regime. We also refused to diversify our economy from dependency on crude oil by moving away from agriculture that has helped us with food security issues. We have not be able to wholeheartedly moved from subsistence farming to fully sustainable or mechanized agriculture methods. Nigeria has been shooting itself in the foot for over three decades (self inflicted injury) it’s a vicious circle kind of thing.

I used to buy a lot of chinese produced things. Not designed by western companies and produced in china. But actual chinese made things and let me tell you, once you've experienced it. Yoy will stay clear of chinese produced things. For 1. They don't do long term testing so, things randomly break down for no apparent reason, which rendees your whole investment useless, 2. Getting support is very difficult. They don't have a long term mindset. Which is why a lot of chinese made things are cheap. Western companies invest very heavily in R&D which is what druves up the cost of things. Intrinsic value. Chinese companies copy the outside without invested in the infrastructure.

You should understand the fundamental differences in governance philosophy, China vs US
    Managed by Workers/Engineers vs. Lawyers/Capitalists
Making money is for production vs. Production is for making money.
What’s the point of having money if you can produce vs. Why produce if you can buy?
Here's an example: If you have 1 million, producing yourself can yield a 20% profit, while investing abroad can yield a 30% profit. In the U.S., people would choose to invest abroad, but in China, people would unhesitatingly choose to produce themselves.

In the case of Chinese products, low prices are both a strength and a weakness.
The reason is the quality of the parts.
For example, the reason why Chinese-made motorcycles are inferior to Japanese manufacturers made in Southeast Asia is because they use Chinese-made parts.
The same thing is happening with EVs.
The more Chinese parts you use, the more problems you will have.

Raw materials in these cases would be iron ore and bauxites, respectively of which China is a biggest importer in the world. Your videos are generally very good, don't fall in these obvious traps that would discredit you. Especially with such a nonsense as claims that solar panels are also "raw material" ! For someone this could be first video by you they see. and if somebody even with basic sense of what is what it may be the last they would want ever to see.
