I was a bit surprised to realize that the first mission was actually them rescuing Makarov and some people thought Price was 627 since that is a callback to Price's prisoner codename in Modern Warfare 2 (2009) where you rescue him from a gulag. I thought we were supposed to be the good guys but in actuality we are playing as the henchmen for the antagonist rescuing him from prison. A bit of an interesting way of introducing us into the story of the game.

I thought 141 went there to kill him since he is more confined there and easy to get to. He was a loose end and when the name Makarov popped up I thought they would try get a step ahead and finish the job early. But I like this version.

By the way, the thing about shooting desperately to kill them all (10:32) reminds me of when they killed you several times in the last mission of Battlefield 3, on the train, and you started shooting like crazy hahahaha. It is obvious that you no longer tolerate being killed without further ado, in closed spaces.
I was in full disbelief. A Russian named Rook was throwing me as well since he is a callback to the OG 141. I’m impressed by the variety of accents that the inner circle have. They can blend anywhere.

I really wish Activision would sell the campaign separately because I could not care less about the online and I would pay like 30 to 40 dollars just to play the campaign
these OCM feels less important than the more linear missions. yes they're linear but you feel more involved with the story. meanwhile with these OCM only the objective matters. whatever happens along the way doesn't matter.
Yeah plus the fact that they added some features from Warzone like parachute deployment, armor plates etc. like who tf places 3 armor plates on their carrier

just watched the whole gameplay story and try not to spoil it but overall is good, its a "short" campaign but i think due to the "DMZ" missions people would rush through IT and make the game short but the story overall is similar to the Original Trilogy but wish we had moments where we played as other characters such as we did in the original trilogy wehn we played as Paul Jacksnon James Rameriz and Derek Frost and etc. but overall good game and nice story that'll pick up in the Seasons to come

I guess you missed a lot. Alex has been confirmed alive since a season update from mw2019. Graves was leaked to be alive during a cutscene (season update) in mw2.
