🌟 DESCRIPTION🌟
When we last saw Captain Price and Task Force 141, they were heading out the door to tackle the latest intel drop: ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov has been the puppet master behind-the-scenes all this time, and that they’re the best team positioned to stop his master plan from going into effect.
Modern Warfare III's campaign is set to take place after the events of Modern Warfare II and its post-launch seasons, and features a number of fictional locations introduced in previous Modern Warfare games, including the city of Verdansk, Kastovia, and the country of Urzikstan.

lol I know it's crazy man. Whole campaign is barely over 3 hours. They rushed this out the door@@seanwilson531
Will do
What did you think of the game
Regardless of how the game itself is I think it's pretty awesome they gave you the free copy of it 👍
Even they wanted you to do the Game Movie for it ❤
He was the best of us . The toughest . He’d’ve fought the world barehanded . Who dares wins . Sleep easy soldier . See you down range brother . Rest in Peace Johnny . Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish
Damn...they killed him again😢
Best Quotes
I can’t believe they went through all this work to reboot all of their universes at once with a canon explanation just for them to completely flop it half way through with mw3. Can y’all just send me into the dark aether where the old story is and then I can just live happily in the past without this shit new game 😂
@@zuckleyplays4120 What's crazy is that the main characters are actually goated. Give me this sorta characterization with the original story line and I think the campaign would be \ untouchable.
Poor soap..... he was an amazing person-
You know what this game lacks when it comes to campaign? GOOD MUSIC.. even during scenes in game I felt just everything was so quiet and lack luster. Mw2 soundtrack to this day sits in my head
I thought som of the orchestral moments weren't to bad like in danger close wasn't bad
It lacks good game play, level design, and actual love. The game is trash
well you have to admit, MW2 had a movie industry giant, Hans Zimmer, make it so it was bound to be great
true
And OG MW really knows how to sell emotional scenes. Compare the death here to OG MW, this was nothing.
Am I the only one that feels dissappointed ?
The campaign is not only short, but it lacks the "special something" the old games had.
I know the old MW campaigns were over the top but I kinda liked that, compared to them these campaigns seem so "timid".
And the villians seem so lackluster. They didn't leave a impression on me, I don't really hate them, worse I don't care about them.
For example, comparing new Shephard/Makarov with the old ones, I actually really hated them and with good reason ( Roach, Ghost, Yuri)
And all these fakedeaths...
Seeing how Graves or Alex just survived... so death is not really a thing unless SPOILER
(it's Soap)
Its more or less just the original MW 2.5 but kind of crumpled together, and delivered in a significantly worse execution.
So instead of having Shepard being a true antagonist, hes kind of toyed around with and then just dumped to the side, Price goes down the path of being a completely rogue asset, but is somehow not going to be buried with Laswell by the CIA and US government at large for killing a four star general.
This game seemed to have been more buildup for Makarov, because he truly does still have the sly, conniving grip on things he had in the original MW2, hes just not as crazed in appearance or mannerisms as in the OG game. Im kind of shocked they went with killing soap again, but at the same time im not considering how shameless they are with Recycling general plot points with the original series.
There were rumors that the campaign was actually cobbled together (cutscenes excluded) kind of at the last second, which sorta makes sense considering a good chunk of the campaign takes place in recycled Verdansk, and potentially on ground war maps (this has yet to be proven so far, but it wouldn't surprise me. Because MW2 *did* recycle quite a lot of campaign content for Multiplayer. So it being switched on its head wouldn't be a big shocker.)
The game ultimately felt kind of hindered by the new mechanics, and having so many characters and messing around with so many plot points at once.
It'll be interesting to see asspull MWVI pulls as to not have TF141 become the enemy of the entire globe. But then again, this was probably the only way they could logically force 141 to be disavowed. Murdering shepard in cold blood. But this game seems to confirm WW3 is off the table. Unless they actually plan to have the US be the invaders since i don't believe the mole in shadow company was ever explicitly named. (granted im sure it was implied it was Graves, its never explicitly said whether its him or not)
Plot wise Infinity ward has kind of backed themselves into a corner narratively speaking. They desperately want to keep recycling the general idea's and concepts from the original modern warfare series. But the narrative is so far out of whack, im not sure how they'll accomplish the whole WW3 arc, and Price being a completely unsalvageable asset in the eyes of the americans. Unless Laswell can just magically turn the CIA completely blind without anyone eventually figuring it out, at the same time. Im sure it'll magically be unfucked in post launch DLC for multiplayer. But still.
so sloppy . lacks emotion. every villain falls flat. not surprised, these cods are cash grabs
It just feels like a filler episode...
Location changes would be appreciated, give us REAL countries, not Kostovia and Urzikstan.
And I swear to god, enough with fcking Urzikstan.
For me, it's missing the same thing the other new MW games were missing: the dual perspectives. The original MW trilogy was so great because of the variety you got from having both the sneaky faction and the bombastic faction.
I find it particularly sad because the Rangers missions were some of my favourites in the entire franchise.
People completely forgot about Imran Zakhaev
Old mw3 did Soap's death better. There was more passion in Price's delivery.
Can't improve upon what was already (or almost) perfect. Only thing that'd have made that better would be cinematics on this games level.
"Makrov... knows... Yuri..."
"I trusted you... Soap did too... so why the bloody hell does Makrov know you?!"
I think the death in this one is better. Cuz realistically what else would happen in a situation.
@@googleisevil8958 actually it's "Soap trusted you, I thought I could too. So why in bloody hell, does Makarov know you?"
That was a vicious "let me finish him" from soap. He really wanted to pull the trigger
And Ghost immediately wanting to call an airstrike on Graves the moment he saw him was good
"Ghost, that is not nice." 💀

I think at this point they get early copies, not sure if this was. Then again they have a full walkthrough under 4 hours long, so I guess it could have been hammered out in a day.

I’m so dissatisfied, Soap always getting shafted, and now I want Makarov gone more than ever, like I don’t ever care that Shepherd is gone anymore because Makarov iced Soap and then just ran away somehow, only getting injured. I get it cause it draws us in more but fuck, just kill the damn guy already
It's a canon event apparently
@@RavagerVG F*ck the cannon, me and all Soap fans are going to interrupt it. I don't give a damn that the universe might collapse, all my homies going to save this man. I just hope Activision will say "Sike" and change the ending.
i literally only saw an ad for this game today and you already dropped the cut scenes lol. This is why I love your channel
Super happy the game is out (sort of), but super sad about the length. Some things deserved to be *much* bigger and far more remarkable than they were. Here's to hoping IV will be much bigger and better. But I'm curious to know how Activision will respond to the resounding disappointment from the players.
Plus, we need more Ghost. Please give us more Simon. 😭🤣
Agreed. I wasn't expecting much, but it still is a dissappointment. A 3 hour campaign is ridiculous. I've always been able to appreciate CoD campaigns for what they are, and there's some great action movie stuff here, but just feels completely rushed.
To be fair, if they can be tell the story they want to tell in three hours, I'd rather it be that short than for it to be artificially stretched out
It really does! A lot of people are saying this feels like a DLC, or that's what it should have been, and I kind of have to agree. 3 hours for such a highly anticipated game, where it's predecessors ran twice as long, at the very least... Meh. And don't get me started on the two deaths that happened. They should have had MUCH more oomph and fanfare than they did. Especially that first one... He was cheated and deserved more.
I really do hope that they've got a fire under their asses and have plans to give more for this.
Otherwise, it wasn't half bad! (Aside from the servers supposedly crashing this afternoon... that sucked) 😅
@@ClonedGamer001 And charge full price for it, sure.
@@nickwong2525 Would you rather there be three hours of content, or three hours of content broken up by two hours of filler just to meet some arbitrary length requirement?

The campaign looks fun but not worth $80. If this was a DLC to MW2 for $30 u would get no complaints from me.
He didn't pay...
Whoever is voicing Soap is going for real a Scottish goblin vibe. Also isn’t this like the 4th MW with green gas and missiles
You're the best. Exactly what I wanted. Not every single second of gameplay but the dialogue throughout it. You are the 🐐.
Man… I’ve always wanted to see Soap and Graves go at it head-to-head, alone. That would’ve been a treasure to see
Damn this is so short, might think there was gonna be part 2 on official release but nah.

How do you upload such good quality videos without the bitrate being ruined by TH-cam, this is gorgeous!!!!!
Campaign is 3 hours, with cutscenes being 2 hours of them, so you pay 70 bucks for 1 hour gameplay!
Makarov sounds like an American trying to do a Russian accent lol
I gotta say, wonderfully edited, in including major parts of the mission and not just mailing it in with only cinematics. Great video, +1 Like, +1 Sub!
That felt more like a DLC then a whole new game
Over an hour and 20 minutes at least of cutscenes and missions a brand new mode new mechanics new locations new characters new weapons is dlc? What a stand alone dlc? Also known as a game of its own tha doesn't need another to be complete

Damn i didn't expect Shepherd's fate to end up like that. I thought that since he (presumably) got humiliated in the Congress hearing he would sorta team up with Makarov to start a world war so he could regain his personal glory or something, similar to OG Shepherd's motives
He wouldn't after Konni put him in this predicament when they stole the missiles in MW2. Plus, he knew Makarov would've expended him the moment the partnership ended. No Shadow Company and No Graves to the rescue.

Gamer's Little Playgrounds the one channel to enjoy some game movies, and it was worth the wait for Modern Warfare 3's story.
Loved playing through it, though the length was a little rough. I dragged out the missions by playing stealthy and enjoying the crazy guns and utility the maps offered. I won't spoil, but the ending had me a little sad. Cheers to the next game!
Me too! It is bothering me that people hate it though, but haters gotta hate 🤷♂️
Feels like people hate almost everything today. While I do think that the length is too short, it will be fun to play when I eventually get it
I mean I can see why people don’t like this campaign so much because they pretty much added DMZ into campaign there was no need even tho I enjoyed it it was very pointless to do and obviously how it ended left so many more questions than mw2 campaign did people are just tired of waiting 1 year just for another cliffhanger
At least they didn't seem to try to just bloat it I guess, but yeah it really feels like a fucking dlc sold as a campaign for a "new game".
"Cheers to the next game! Can't wait to buy another rushed unfinished product!" CoD players are addicted to copium and have been for years
ngl I love how soap’s death was so sudden. nothing was overly dramatic and I appreciate that. Everything is so fast pace you don’t even have time to properly grieve in the moment which seems more realistic to me.
Thank you! This is so well made!
The issue with this campaign is when it’s 141 and makarov it’s really good. But when it goes to Farah and Alex it’s so dull and really cringy. As if it was written by someone else. Just focus on Price and his team, it’s what people actually care about.
Damn, Nikolai got has a great taste in music
They should have added a mission to the end similar to the end of og MW3 called like an eye for an eye or something where all the 3 remaining 141 go after Makarov and put his ass in the ground. Would have made more sense.
Soap and Ghost ready for the smoke with Shepherd and Graves was hilarious 😂
Thank you for the work you do GLP :) 💚
Good job playing, However to me personally, I dont like how close they got to making it like a warzone play style with the plating, parachute available at all times and unlockable guns. I wish they stuck more like MW1 style . but thats just my opinion
MW1 style was the best. The gameplay was CoD with it's set pieces, but still relatively realistic. MW2 leaned into wacky Warzone shit and MW3 went even harder into it.
Great Job with the Game Movie as always 👍
Good to know even Activision wanted you to post this ❤
Alex: Heard you got busted in the head?
Soap: My head wasn’t there.
The verdansk mission gave me chills seeing the map again 😢
The fact that each time makarov is in a game soap dies is just💀💀💀
@1:12:07 we all know what its like. OG COD MW fans should know

But OG Ghost 🔥🔥🔥
I love that Makarov is prisoner 627. That was Price’s prisoner number in the original series

“He killed Soap. He’s gone, Mac.”
Why did the guys sound like American and British special forces in the first mission but are actually the bad guys breaking out Marakov
Not really sure about the campaign as a whole yet,but Yuri's cameo and this new version of Makarov are fucking brilliant. Hopefully they include more of Yuri in the future
This new version of Makarov is written like a cliched caricature of a bond villain. Everything he does is just for the sake of being evil. The way he's portrayed in this game is nowhere near as terrifying or threatening as he was in the original games.
@@corvus9359 well right now we dont know his backstory really and they might improve on that in the next game, which could add some more depth to his motives etc. I just like this new version a lot
@@petrrozsival8554 Lol tbh no amount of backstory can save what happened (or rather what didn't happen) in this game. The problem isn't his motives from the past, the problem is the execution of his actions in the present. It's hard to take this guy seriously when he preaches so much about how every second counts, and then proceeds to waste time and manpower by having his own right hand man executed for "wasting time." The things he does in this game are more in line with a generic terrorist mastermind character, where every action he takes is done just to show how evil he is. Part of what separated Makarov from the average villain and why he was so dangerous and terrifying in the original games was how cold and calculating he was, how brazen and devastating his plans were, and the massive loss of life that followed. Makarov is supposed to be the kind of person who doesn't do anything for no reason and doesn't waste any of his resources. The people who made this game had everything they needed, and they squandered it, and this extends far beyond just the writing of Makarov's character.
@@corvus9359the original makrov was so much better
This one just feels a terrorist leader the original makrov was far more evil and didn't do thing s just for the sake and the ideas in this game are so weak and poor in terms of what the original makrov did
I actually thought they had enough of this fake urzikistan or whatever the fake country is called
Not to mention how they did Sheperd, he was a hands on and physically fit General in the last one he would have seen Price coming for him a mile away his death just seemed way too easy.@@sharyarjahangir9651

39:37 Bonebreaker by Slaughter to prevail. Awesome song
Was Makarov actually on the airbase? I mean they had a AC in the air with thermal scan, SIGINT running in Langley, Price and co on the ground, how did he escape? I think he was never there to begin with.

Unpopular opinion: it was a better send off than the original, more peaceful, I've only wished Rudy and Alejandro were present too.
The graphics are great, gameplay mechanics are great but the story and characters are much better in the original trilogy, always felt the war on a massive scale unlike these new ones.

We have Ghost still alive. But at what cost?
Well Soap also died in the original games, so really we didn't lose anything.
@corvus9359 yeah, come to think of it, in the OG games Price was the sole survivor. (Gaz dies in COD4, Ghost dies in MW2, Soap dies in MW3)
But seeing how both Graves and Alex somehow survived being blown to smithereens, who knows next game? 🤷♂️

I thought graves died in the last game?
To be fair, Graves is a Merc working on the orders of his employer. He's no more fucked than any PMC would be.
I think the only thing that really makes Graves a cunt is that IW forced a 180 heel turn onto Shadow Company when they were made the bad guys, since they went from bros to assholes in half a second. It should've been handled with an "sorry, buddy, it's just a job" angle instead of "lol fuck it, we are comically corrupt now" one.

Good play through. From what I could see this story(for then having like 3 years to write it) felt very thrown together. Like what was the goal or plan with this reboot? They had three games and I still feel like we haven't gotten anywhere. The only people who died were a couple of the villains and soap. There's no weight in this story and no direction. That's my biggest problem with the campaign. Also those missions that took place in Warzone were kinda just lazy
Bruh. Soap's death was treated like a side character death. I guess nobody in the team really cared about him.

These mw stories reboot are just going downhill. Also, doing proxy and sneaky wars is just dumb. Won't surpass the entire old mw story.
One thing I’ve always wondered is why Laswell doesn’t just knock out the Kastovian Major and his security detail? I mean if you were worried about collaterals to do the right thing, I feel like isolating one person and just giving them an early day’s snooze would get you both the keycard and one less dead person not a part of it.

Pretty decent campaign. LOVED the return to Verdansk- I hope it comes back either as the primary map, or at least an option. Not NEARLY as frustrating and lackluster of a campaign as MW2, although some of the missions felt a bit rushed, or a bit too short. All the guns felt and sounded great, the movement was good, the scopes and optics we were able to play with seemed pretty good. Huge improvement over last year's campaign, IMO. It kind of irked me that it ended as it did, but I guess if they're going to do MWIV, it makes sense. All in all, I give it a 7 out of 10.
They probably wanted to save and hold back the more juicy and shocking stuff for IV.
