I apply my wedding masque eye cream from Aveda at night. It's an overnight cream. One tip I would say is using something to get the cream if it's something you can't squeeze out. I'll use a tiny brow stick instead of my finger to get out of the container. Just so that I won't pass any bacteria or oils from my skin into the cream.

Any tips for applying eye makeup (shadow) after you've applied your eye cream in the morning, so the shadow doesn't slide off or go on 'funny'. Is the answer simply using an eye shadow primer (which I don't have right now!)? Thank you! Love your videos
Hi - for my everyday makeup look, I just use a light nude/gold shadow to brighten my eye area. I just swipe and go. If I'm taking time to create an actual eyeshadow look, I always start with an eyeshadow primer. I have primers from Urban Decay, LORAC, NYX, and NudeStix that I like. You can also just use a concealer and set it with your face powder, or use a skin colored eyeshadow to set it before applying your eyeshadow color. Be sure you give your eye cream time to absorb into your skin before putting any makeup over it. Hope this helps!

I just turned 30 and I've been too scared to try any eye creams because I have rosacea so my skin is suuper sensitive. I've noticed some fine lines under my eyes. What product would you recommend?

Nice tips Trina. :) I'm not as concerned as wrinkles, I don't have those yet, but I want to avoid and get rid of freckles/slightly larger freckles (I refuse to call them age spots). The few that I have what do you recommend? I try to use only natural products (loving OZ Naturals), but if you have any tips, let me know. And yes, SPF in everything! x

I use the same technique you described but I don't have an "eye cream" I use this anti-aging creme in the instructions it says you can apply it in the eye area so am I good to go or do I need to stop using it? knowing that it's actually working and reduced the little lines I had before and my skin is really good and smooth in that area. I'm only 20 but I wanted to start taking care of my skin before it was too late.

Hi - I don't recommend using eye cream on your eyelid. It could irritate your eye area and could be causing the dryness. If you are still experiencing dryness around your eyes, I would ask your dermatologist or facialist which products would work best for your skin type.

I am using Eye Cream from Virginic (bit.ly/2Lpv1ed ) and it has a little roller, so I don't have to touch my skin with my fingers. Do you think this makes any difference?
I love applying skincare with a roller. It can help the product penetrate deeper into the skin. As long as you are gentle with the roller, I think it's a great method.
