I am telling you the truth, Tiffany, you are one of my very favorite DIyers that I have ever watched. You are very calming and relaxing, and i absolutely love everything that you come home with and redo.
Tiffany, you start out with better than usual goods from your local Goodwill Bins but then you take us for a ride through your imaginative eyes and show us how to take things “over the top!” You have a gift for making things beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing!
@@tiffanygemmer-DIYdesign Yes, just take a screenshot and paste it into Google images if you ever want to know. Doesn't always get a result but often will. That's how I found out it's a fondue pot base.
❤ what you did with all the items. 😬 ,,,, then finally I saw you put gloves on 👏🏼. I wish I made more time to do stuff like this. 💡,,, NEW YEARS resolution!!!!
Wow Tiffany, you found so many pieces with high end potential. Love the candlesticks, the white plush blanket, the wood block board, the trees cut out in the box-gorgeous, too much to mention! I am stealing a few of those ideas, you are so creative! I'm addicted to watching you shop at Goodwill for goodies, so much fun!
In my family my sister in laws and nieces and I love to shop at goodwill for each other. We give gifts at christmas from there! We usually mix them in w some new gifts. But we have no shame LOL we love it! Its all about the thought of it, not how much you spent. its fun
My family too we love the gifts they are usually more unique ! Money and we're it come from don't matter. The thought someone loves you and thinks about you when they see something you will like to my is priceless.
The box with the rounded inside more than likely held coasters. Probably some of those wood ones with the cork centers. They're usually lurking around nearby.
I have 2 friends that have the same love for thifting as I do. For Christmas, we get each other awesome thrifted items EXCLUSIVELY. Its amazing how we find perfect items for each other !! I'm proud to be so thrifty. It's a passion and a hobby.
The wood curved block is a coaster holder. The wood things with the holes had a metal lattice fence looking thing on it. As a table tray. Also, they had them as lazy sussie too. They'd have a dish in middle sometimes.
I love your videos. You are so creative and have given me lots of ideas. My home is very colorful and shabby chic in decor. I have very little black, grey, or white. However, I still get lots of ideas from you.
Tiffany you are hands down the BINS QUEEN! Salivating at all your scores especially the square wreaths. WOWZERS! Love what you did with all the bits and pieces that you put together. You should consider starting an online shop so you can sell some of your finds when you have too many.😁
I think she puts some in her house.. but a lot of the decor is for her stock to use to stage homes she is selling.. she is a real estate agent.. thats why she buys/creates all that decor... but she could defintely have a booth at a local flea market/antique shop..
Thank you so much, Lucy! 😊 Yes, as @robinjoines1955 said, some of the items I set aside for staging, some I use in our home, some I give to family and friends, and some I sell locally. Maybe one day I’ll open an online shop of some sort! 💕
Even if it wasn't new if I was gifted any of your beautiful creations I would be so happy. Those square wreaths tho ❤ my jaw dropped when I seen those before I even found out they were pottery barn. Love them 💕
Thank you! You are fun and inspiring. I love that you take everyday items and look at them with fresh eyes. The fact that you up cycle items with supplies from around your home and just the hardware store makes it even better. Not everyone can afford to buy specialty paints and molds and rub on transfers. Thanks for making it attainable and practical 💕💕
That little table was a breakfast tray for having breakfast in bed. The legs fold down and would go on each side of your lap. I love how you choose things that I would grab in the bins. I was bummed out that you weren't able to save that oak plant stand. I really loved the natural wood but the top worked well as a stand and the legs as candlestick holders. I really thought it looked cool before you painted it with the silver and natural wood! I cringed when you removed the pretty birds on the tray but then I also liked how it turned out when you were done with it. Awesome haul!
For the E6000 tube…by a “key” at Sally’s beauty supply that cosmos use for the tubes of hair dye (to get every drop out) or some people use them for toothpaste tubes too. If you put it on a new tube of E6000 it will roll perfectly and not crack (plus you get every bit out).
I think I got tiny E6000 tubes ($1.25 for6)at Dollar Tree. I use these so I don't pay a lot for a big tube that leaks all the time. They have the same in super glue.
The round wood piece with small holes in it is for a 1960 era fondue set. The long handled fork tines are placed into those holes for each person to choose one. The forks usually had plastic pieces of different colors on the end of the handles to help guests keep track of their fork. The fondue pot had a rack it sat in the middle of the round wood piece. A can of stereo fit into the bottom of the pot rack to heat & melt the cheese or chocolate.
Oh my goodness! I just started watching your channel, for some reason you came up on my feed. You are so talented! Thank you for sharing all your goodies with us! And thank you for sharing your talent with us! God bless you!
Lots of good pickings! I have no problem with giving, and receiving gifts that have been thrifted as long as the items are in excellent condition. As a DIYer, I often add my own twist to things.
Tiffany, I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing your time and talents with me.💜 I am a crafter & I have been designing & making jewelry for 20+ years. E-6000 is my go-to glue/adhesive. This is what works for me. Always push from the bottom of the tube. After a 1/2" or so is completely flat (no glue) at the bottom roll or fold the tube back against itself, continue pushing from the bottom & rolling as you use up the glue. Don't roll too tight leave a little room. Don't unroll or unfold the tube it weakens the metal, which can cause cracks & leakage. If you put a little Vaseline on the threads for the cap upon opening the first time, it will be much easier to remove & replace the cap & no glue harding around the threads. I hope this helps. Happy Creating in 2024🎉
I'm so glad I discovered your channel. Such wonderful and creative ideas! For the E6000 dilemma, Amazon sells 'tube squeezer keys'. I bought a pack of 12 stainless steel keys for under $8. The key will roll the tube as you use the glue. No cracking tube, it keeps air out that dries the glue before the tube is finished, and the key easily slides out so you can reuse it. 😊
Girl! I cannot believe you found that tall table with the spindle legs because I just found one exactly like it on the side of the road. I redid the top as a riser, like you did. Made the bottom in to a plant stand, then could not figure out what to do with the spindle legs. THANK YOU so much for the inspiration of candle holders!! I cannot wait to do this!!!
Oh my goodness 😮Your sooo artistic! Amazing ! I sooo wish I had half of the vision that you have to give new life to bring someone’s trash into beautiful treasures!
The "easel" is actually a bed tray for serving meals in bed, I grew up with one just like that and we got to have breakfast in bed on our birthdays! I still have it.❤
So happy to subscribe to your channel. I look forward to being part of your growth and success. Love your videos and your up-cycles are very classy, timeless and beautiful. You are going to be very successful and I look forward to watching it happen.
I want everything you make! You definitely have an eye for items by the time you’re done they are just gorgeous. Sometimes there even just the coolest pics just right out of the bin like that over tree that you put the autumn decorations on in the pottery barn that you found was a really good find. I love how your would be turned out the candlesticks that was very creative and the little stand from the tall little table on your office. Desk looks beautiful.
Once upon a time many moons ago, when I was young, high end department stores had bargain basements. It was much as you say. Except MOST shoppers were aggressive, although it was mostly friendly, fun competition. Sometimes women would even swap each other their found “treasures”.
A really great alternative to E6000 is Beacon 3 in 1 advanced craft glue - super strong and quick drying - hope this helps! Happy thrifting & diying ❤😊
FYI I painted a bead garland in a few minutes by thinning some craft paint with water and dipping the garland in it to coat. I hung it up and let it drip and then dry and it came out great. I have used it for a few years with good results.
Its not tacky to gift your thrifted finds. Its being smart with your finances. I love the effect of the white wax. It's pretty awesome!! I buy the E6000 to, but in the smaller sizes. That way you use it up before the tube can crack like that. You might try Lock Tite too
I would loved anything you gave me for a gift from goodwill! It’s not tacky but smart. You make it look so easy! Those ornaments you covered are fabulous along with everything else!
The candlestick assembly was genius! I never would have thought of unscrewing a candle holder and I'm sure I would have never imagined the spindle holes would be such a great fit to the screws.
When you pulled apart that indoor palm stand. I just about had a heart attack, especially that it is Oak. Oh, my… yet after you finished, I have to admit that the ornaments you made a stunning. Good for you. I would have bought nearly everything you showed in the beginning of this video. Heavens above I can’t believe people throw these things away, all that people don’t pick them up it’s just bizarre. You have a fabulous goodwill. Here in Australia those wooden carving boards are priced from $25 for a small one to $99 upwards. They are very expensive. I would’ve grabbed the whole lot. To paint beads put a flat board behind them. For some reason it works much better. All your vignettes creations are stunning. Loved the video, big thanks.
The tray, I have several. It’s a bed tray that props up a little bit. It’s nice to have for the car and then you can watch movies when you pull up the tray to hold your iPad or tablet.
iffany - I just LOVE watching your videos! I began going to the Goodwill Bins in Denver around . Wow! What a treasure trove! Since moving to a rural town in western Kansas I can only go to the bins when I go back to Denver to visit family and friends. Boy do I ever miss it though. The items that I have found there were fantastic. I kid you not.....I found and bought a full length vintage minx coat (appraised for $2500) and a small genuine LV clutch and wallet (appraised for $700), two American Girl dolls with numerous outfits, shoes and other accessories! Love the items you find Tiffany! You have a great eye! Thanks for sharing your finds with us. Take care! :-)
Wow, Mercedes! What great finds! After many years of shopping there, I’m still amazed at what can be found! My parents recently took a trip to Denver and enjoyed visiting the Goodwills there! I bet you miss it! Hopefully one day you’ll get one in your area! Thank you so much! I really appreciate you joining me here! 💕
Gosh Tiffany.....you truly are a creative "think outside the box/hard working woman/not a "pusher or shover" at the bins....love all your "creations" and your channel....if you were my daughter I'd tell you how proud of you I am!!!....Elysia English would be proud of you too!!!...
As a fellow Realtor all the way across the country in Florida, I agree with the others who say you should start an online shop! With low inventory and high interest rates, you’d have a new career!
Love that you have made this time. You might want put beads in a plastic bag with some paint and a little water and mix all in the bag. I have seen this on wooden beads so it might work for this.
I would have left the silver and wood candle sticks just like they were or at least left the wood look and silver!! I loved it and never dreamed how beautiful it looked together!! The white was cute but I LOVED THE SILVER AND WOOD!!!
The wobbly piece you took apart and repurposed the various parts, looked to be an oak barley twist plant stand. They sell here in antique shops for $200-$400.
Thanks for sharing! Good to know. Some of it was very warped and in poor condition. It would have been very difficult for me to restore. Next time I see one that I have the capacity to restore I’ll definitely consider it. Rest assured it’s well loved in its repurposed state.😊Thanks so much for joining me here! 💕

The round wood disc with the holes is for a fondue set. The long forks would be stuck in the holes. Happy Thrifting 😊
Interesting! Thank you! 😁
I thought it was for picks like toothpicks to get cheese out of cloche. 😊
Might be for a nut bowl; little holes are for the picks & possibly bigger holes for the nutcracker.

i'm pretty sure the shellac is supposed to go on the wood first before painting to keep the tannins out of the wood. hopefully goes well.

Aw…thank you so much, Kristina!!! 😊 I really appreciate your sweet encouragement! 💕 Thank you so much for joining me here!
As a fellow Realtor all the way across the country in Florida, I agree with the others who say you should start an online shop! With low inventory and high interest rates, you’d have a new career!
It is an interesting market right now! Thanks for the encouragement, Debbie! 😊💕
The wreath with the bell is amazing! Great job!
Thank you so much! 💕
The candlestick is my favorite ! Now I want to visit my local thrift stores !
Thank you, Donna! Hope you have fun and find lots of great deals! 😊
Love that you have made this time. You might want put beads in a plastic bag with some paint and a little water and mix all in the bag. I have seen this on wooden beads so it might work for this.
Great idea! Thank you, Jackie! 💕
I would have left the silver and wood candle sticks just like they were or at least left the wood look and silver!! I loved it and never dreamed how beautiful it looked together!! The white was cute but I LOVED THE SILVER AND WOOD!!!
Sorry to disappoint, Gail! If you’re interested in recreating it how you would like, it would be a simple project.😊
WOW !!! Your creativity is off the chart....Love everything !!! The white candle sticks were so cute....a great idea !
Aw, thank you so much, Hope! 😊💕

Magical candlesticks 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️🍾🥂
Thank you! 😊
the candlesticks... the wooden trees sign... the white blanket... all great!
Thank you so much! 😊💕
Absolute favorite was the candlesticks. Great way to use every piece from that wobbly table. Your videos are a great inspiration 🎄🎄
Thank you so much, Kathy! 😊🎄💕
Oh my goodness Tiffany! You just blow me away with your finds and then how you remake & style the pieces. Amazing!!! Beautiful!!!!😊❤😊🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🎄🌲🙏

That rickety plant stand is the thrift that keeps on giving. lol
I guess so!
You have a good eye and I love your project results.
Thank you so much, Marilyn! 💕
A bed tray and the wooden disk could be used with the whole side showing and could be a charcuterie board
Thanks for sharing! 😊
