In the anime I took Goku's line about kid Buu being on a whole other level to mean his mental state. He was literally an engine of destruction, bouncing around blowing up planets at one point.
I like to imagine since Goku has been shown being able to designate between people based on there energy signature that there has to be some degree of visibility about the stability of the users mental state as well as the state of there spirit. As Buu absorbed people he gained there power but it also rounded his spirit and mind out a bit. When he lost it and went back to kid Buu his mind and spirit returned to an unstable raw and unpredictable state of chaos. This he’s on another levels because any semblance of reason was now gone. They could sense how chaotic and unstable Kid Buu was. He may not be as strong but they knew fighting him would be less like a boxing match and more like tangling with a feral animal.
Depends, did Goku make this statement before, during or after fighting Kid Buu? If it was made before they threw the hands, u could be right. If it was during and after they threw the hands, he was more likely referring to his power and the fight itself. He was well aware of Kid Buu’s chaotic mentality well before he made the statement.
The HTC needing 2 people was a ploy by Goku to unite Vegeta and Trunks. Super Buu was the strongest in his Buhan form but Kid Buu had an advantage that he did not. Stripping all of the other powers and personas away returned Kid Buu to the state where he was a ruthless killing machine.
my theory for the supreme kai and beerus being linked is that his life force is linked to that divine ki, not their lives directly, so when the rest of the Universe 7 kais were killed, beerus lost a gread deal of divine ki, that would explain why Beerus naps for years and sleeps for centuries
That’s a cool idea that imo runs into a slight wrinkle. If divine ki is the true link to Beerus’ life force (and by extension, all the other Gods of Destruction), it would probably additionally take the destruction of the World Core to actually kill the God of Destruction. That’s probably not a difficult job for someone who has already slain the Supreme Kais, but we didn’t hear about Goku Black going full genocide on the Shin-Jin race, only that he targeted the Kais.
Pretty sure goku was referring to how kid buu was mindlessly nuking everything insight during his rampage where as super buu COULD be reasoned with if you fed into his ego
Kid Buu had already been around blowing up planets and was about to do the same to Otherworld until Goku and Vegeta drew him away. Yet, Goku makes this statement after he gets his ass kicked.
Piccolo trained with Super Saiyan Goku for 3 years and then fused with Kami. Went in the Chamber himself and THEN had 7 more years to train. Even if Goten and Trunks did the full year in the time chamber, they would still be weaker than Piccolo. Only a fan boy could argue against that lol

theory: the Potara fusion was always set to 1 hour for mortals, the Elder Kai found by accident because of the old which, and Shin, the last Supreme Kai alive was the youngest one without much training or instructions, so no one was realistically able to know how the ins and outs of the Potara works, also would explain the earrings color inconsistency, the Supreme Kai said the green Potara are only for Kaioshin, and yellow / blue are for apprentice / assistants and while they could have different roles in different universes, it makes sense that Shin was not fully trained as a Supreme Kai / Kaioshin because he fled from Buu in a panic before Earth even existed in that universe
I think the supreme Kai theory makes sense even within the context of super as well, the fact that his presence can be pulled out of himself by buu, effectively switching places makes sense in the theory of the Kai’s becoming just one with buu only buu is the true controller of all that power, eventually when uub and buu merge and either uub dies a human death or dies in battle then the Kai’s will finally return to the afterlife.
17:20 The thing is, there is so much more you can do with that guys fan theory in terms of Buu's backstory, possibly other majins, demons, beings of primordial chaos, more villains, building on more in terms of the nature of the cosmos etc. Whereas the one you prefer is just the overused Frankenstein's monster trope. And what if this warrior fought against Beerus on a conspiracy and used a way to damage destruction and thats why Beerus sleeps so much time almost like Majin Buu😅u

I think Piccolo would've been stronger to begin with, when he and Kami fused. They probably would have been close to the same power at least - but Piccolo has individually gotten stronger, and that included him fusing with Nail - which made him much stronger - so it would seem to be the nameless namekian (give or take a little power) plus Nail fusing with him.
if you wanna go off the manga the name "kid buu" is never said and he isnt really seen as being a different character. almost like he just took on a different form
Majin Buu in his original form being stronger than his Super Buu form is not a theory but an issue of representation. Buu is quite simply never stronger nor weaker, his an absorption technique is a defensive mechanic and magic ability. He appears more powerful because of styling, it’s not even a matter of gaining others powers and abilities since he demonstrates the same uncanny ability as Goku to mimic abilities on sight. The real divide is intelligence. In his pure form, he was still a kid and primal, so he wasn’t exactly versed in his abilities but rather was a force of nature. As he absorbed the Kaioshin, he was essentially “purified” by their nature becoming more docile. When he split himself in two, the primal side could be said what split and the two were equals except one could argue Mister Buu as he would be hence called, was left exhausted by the magic of purging himself from all the aggression, savagery, et al and the new entity on absorbing “himself” became an adult version of his original self since eons had passed. As Super Buu absorbed more and more people, he then became more specialized but then, on being complete separated from everyone, he reverted back to his “original” form and was still just as powerful but because he was going against trained fighters in Goku and Vegeta, they won over his sheer brute strength and magic since he was essentially an unruly child with unfathomable power.
Also does Gotenks SSJ1 being stronger than Goku SSJ3 during the Buu Saga count as a theory? Word is that's a controversial statement in certain circles.
Stronger? Probably. But Gotenks has literally never won a fight and probably never will because he only cares about looking cool lol. Goku would just be all like "Wow kids, this is awesome! Lets go all out!" And then they'd charge up massive Kamehameha's, goku would slowly lose the beam struggle, and gotenks would defuse.
Beerus and Kaioshin being connected really annoys me. It tried to create tension, but it’s just lazy writing. I would have no problem with the Kaioshins being stored inside buu still though
Consider this. Buuhan is stronger than Kid Buu. Yet Kid Buu curbstomps Buuhan every time. BH has the power but wouldn't get/take advantage of the opportunity to finish KB. Whereas KB would use BH as a punching bag all day long. Whether this goes on like this depends on how capable BH is of learning, adapting, and growing stronger. Or, KB getting bored and doing something crazy like magic'ing out those who make up BH's current form.
I treat people who think that Kid buu is more powerful than Buuhan the same as flat earthers. Goku and Vegeta needed to fuse to beat Buuhan. It was a necessity. Goku and Vegeta thought they could hold their own against kid buu. Of course he turned out to be more of a challenge, but it wasn’t impossible how they viewed Buuhan. It’s right there in front of everyone’s face.
I can't remember who Geekdom101 had on years ago, but he speaks fluent Japanese... Anyway he said that based on what was written in Japanese it's completely up to opinion, but Kid Buu is clearly said to be more dangerous than any other Buu. Kid Buu is mocked by Vegeta and Goku at first sure, but in context Kid Buu at that point is calm which we later come to find out is not a defining characteristic of Kid Buu. His power is never referenced to his other personas again. He's clearly more sadistically careless than Super Buu so, who cares if Super Buu or Super Buu's Buuhan absorbtion was stronger?
Are we watching the same show? Super Buu doesn't physically fight better than Pure Buu. Nothing in the show or manga has proven to me that Super Buu's hand to hand skills are on par with original Pure Buu
Goku had some confidence in fighting Pure Buu, and never admitted to being outclassed in raw power. Against Super Buu, he didn't take any chances and always went straight for fusion. If you want to say the former was holding back, the burden of proof that he had enough power hidden to rival the latter lies on you. Keep in mind he's only ever absorbed people when he stood to gain something from it.
@@HayatoByakuraiMy point is the regular Super Buu only fought two people, Gohan and Gotenks. In those fights I didn't see the level of hand to hand combat displayed like how original Pure Buu fought against Goku and Vegeta.

I love how MOST DBZ theories are about Buu in general
That this is all a illusion and DB ended after the cell saga lol

Pretty sure goku was referring to how kid buu was mindlessly nuking everything insight during his rampage where as super buu COULD be reasoned with if you fed into his ego
Kid Buu had already been around blowing up planets and was about to do the same to Otherworld until Goku and Vegeta drew him away. Yet, Goku makes this statement after he gets his ass kicked.
I didn't realize it was Cell wearing a comedy mask! 🎭
goku wasn’t strong enough to fight kid buu in ssj3 form, but i think super buu has more power… also kid buu is more dangerous

Which is cliche AF now and was already done with the androids and cell.

I really find it interesting that Buu was retconned in an interview to be a being that was created alongside U7 that Bibidi took credit of creating.
I have a theory from the buu saga ...after Elder Kai was released when the Z sword broked he said this : "I could've swear it was one of us who released me "
What if Gohan is a reencarnation of a strong warrior kaioshin or maybe related with that sword somehow in the past??
And what if this warrior fought against Beerus on a conspiracy and used a way to damage destruction and thats why Beerus sleeps so much time almost like Majin Buu😅u
You should do a video on the after life …like do all 12 universes go to the same after life ? Because if you think about it there’s east west north and south kias of they own galaxies…we have yet to know if there are more universal after life’s
Never miss a video! You're amazing mike🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I like the theory that ssj3 cannot be obtained under regular circumstances. If you think about all the ssj2’s but only goku in the afterlife and fusion warrior gotenks managed to achieve it. Not to mention, gotenks never even unlocks ssj2, instead he just gets ssj3. Every saiyan who achieved ssj2 worked extremely hard to reach it, yet gotenks easily employs ssj3
11:40 Plot hole for Super Hero since how did Magenta and his red ribbon army return to life if only good people were revived?
In Dragon Ball, one's alignment is determined by deeds rather than beliefs. Perhaps they hadn't done anything bad enough to have their status shifted by then.
Honestly I had no idea that people thought(think) Kid Buu was the strongest Buu until I started recently binging LSM videos, I read the Manga Years ago so I guess Im "Biased" or IDK have a different perspective than If I only saw the Anime, but its pretty clear from the Manga(I.E Akira Toriyama) that Super Buu was stonger than Kid, Kid Buu just had no restraint/reasoning and was pure destruction, while Super Buu despite being more powerful had restraints and was not pure Chaos like Kid...
Buu saga was my least favorite, it almost felt like Toriyama didn't like making it.
He was writing and drawing the manga for 11 years by that point so he was probably burnt out by that point.
I think he did and tried to return to the roots of Dragon Ball as he was making it.
@@justinarzola4584 You get the feeling that he really had Sandland on his mind, or at least the foundations of playing around with wizards and demons. You watch/read it and it feels like a lot of the stuff he just dropped into the Buu saga was built for Sandland.

Hey Mike, what is your take on why Kami is so old but Demon King Piccolo was late middle-age at the very least. I mean, he was old, but not THAT wrinkled. Could Kami have spent a few years in the room of spirit and time? Or was it that Demon King Piccolo reincarnated once?
No offense but he answered your question at 2:16. When that Piccolo was introduced in DB he WAS as old as Kami. He used the dragon balls to make himself young again.

What if both broly and gohan were the only ones with SSJ4 and fused in DbSuper2?!
Frog Ginyu like all the animals on earth survived Super Buu's attack from the lookout because he was only targeting human/bipedal beings on the planet.
Either way I love videos like this and getting to nerd out with other fans of DBZ.

My fan fix for the Elder Kai being sealed by Beerus is that Beerus did it due to reckless behavior of the Elder Kai.
What if the supreme kai isnt the one connected to beerus, but old kai since him and beerus were around long before supreme kai hence his death wouldn't affect beerus. Could also explain y elder kai didnt die while sealed in the sword since beerus is still around

Goku didn't go SSJ3 against Majin Vegeta because he knew it would run out his time on Earth too fast, and he wouldn't have lasted long enough to defeat Vegeta.
I guess if you do the Saiyan Saga you can put my "theory" that Vegeta was afraid of Frieza up to his death on Namek. Didn't think it was theory territory but apparently it is lmao
How was Vegeta with a halo so powerful? It took buuhan awhile to beat him up
South Kaioshin (at least in the anime adapatation flashback short) did better against Buu than SSJ3 Goku in the Buu Saga therefore he is stronger. As a bonus to that, Kid Buu from a millions of years ago was probably stronger than Buu Saga Kid Buu, because past Kid Buu wasn't missing a part from itself (aka God Buu) so that is possible evidence for saying South Kaioshin > SSJ3 Goku

Well howdy doody here we are I still think Goku couldn't have defeated majin buu in ssj3. He didn't have the stamina and most likely he would've been absorbed.
Goku was holding back against fat buu and could of beat him but he wanted Goten and Trunks to fight.
@@justinarzola4584 there's no way Goku was able to see exactly how strong Majin Buu was after only fifteen minutes of fighting him if that. Buu is know for playing around. It's more likely that Buu was having fun and wasn't going all out himself.
@@nickboaz9629 Goku analyzed Fat Buu's abilities in that short fight like his speed and regeneration, he didn't know about the chocolate beam or regeneration but I don't believe goku would even allow Buu to use those if he was fully intent on killing him and ending the fight quickly.
@@justinarzola4584 based on ssj3s rapid stamina drain and Gokus time limit he would either get poofed back to the otherworld or he would lose too much stamina and be taken by surprise by buus absorption or possibly outright killed out of the story. Majin Buu at that point was way too unpredictable and Goku could only have a chance if he went completely serious at the beginning of the battle. Goku in my opinion wins 3 or 4/10 times
@@nickboaz9629 I don't see Goku being absorbed because he isn't as careless or cocky as Gohan and Gotenks ended up being when fighting Super Buu,him being sent to afterworld due to the time limit is a possibility though if he doesn't end it quickly.
Is orange piccolo stronger thsn the original nameless namekian

Nice video.
The answer is do people follow the anmie cannon or manga in super the anmie came forst so the anmie is the cannon

Finally we getting to the BEST villain of the DB franchise.
