Where’s Uberto’s assassination? He ordered the execution of Ezio’s father and brothers despite Ezio giving him a letter that proved their innocence. After getting the hidden blade repaired, Ezio shanked the bastard 5 times. His assassination literally marks the birth of Ezio as the legendary Assassin and Templar Hunter we all know and love
@@TheHiddenOne690 Am I the only one who calls Ezio the “Templar Hunter”? I normally do it in response to people who constantly play hype man and glorify Shay as the “Assassin Hunter”
@@TheHiddenOne690 It's okay, the strange thing is that how can anyone forget about the first true assassination from Ezio, it has history, meaning, all the first part of AC2 builds to this moment, it's just weird because you mentioned a lot of the new games and they're really bad in comparision.
I loved the Vieri de Pazzi assassination even more for how it impacted Ezio as an assassin. It was his second conspirator assassination and he was still learning to be an assassin. If Mario wasn't present, Ezio may not have learnt to respect his enemies in death.

There’s a side mission where u explore a town where strange things happen and there are heron statues around and it all ends up being a lover of rudjek who knew he was the heron, and tried to give him a proper burial, the dialogue where bayek is disgusted at this fact is utterly brilliant and the confrontation with the woman at the bent pyramid, leads to a better understanding of rudjek as a villain
You can say what you want about unity and syndicate but you gotta admit they have the best assassination missions, you have so much varity in the way to take out the target its so fun.
I quite liked the assassination of Flavius. Far from being a Templar committed to his ideals at the end, like Septimius, he was closer to being someone corrupted by the Apple, just like Cesare, Savonarola or Al Mualim. In a way, he did the same thing that Al Mualim and Savonarola did, controlling the minds of many people, and giving the impression that if we did not stop him, he would control more. He was a little crazy, but the impact of his assassination on Bayek is quite significant. It meant breaking the last bond he had with his son, "saying goodbye" to him for the last time, because he had already fulfilled his commitment to him, and he had to leave him behind.
The only one missing here is Uberto. His assassination was good and satisfying. Also the sage (aka Aita) and Juno well they've kind of been replaced by Basim (aka Loki) and Aletheia. Both Aita and Loki were reincarnated as humans trying to find and bring back their lovers to restore their family. Juno and Aletheia were both stuck in a digital realm (the gray and the staff of hermes) Both of these couples goals are to restore their family and bring back the reign of the ISU. Just a fun fact nothing more than that.
You're crazy taking shots at Flavius. He is a great antagonist. Cold, efficient, manipulative, and calculating, you could feel the strong grip he had on all of Egypt throughout the game. Even managed to get his hands on an Apple of Eden and nearly take all of Egypt, and more if it wasn't for Bayek killing him in the end. He's definitely top 5 imo.
The one thing that i like about Rogue (besides setting) is that memory corridors became more interactive in the sense that now characters are interacting with objects around them such as trees or shipboard
I would have thought Uberto would have been on this list. He let Ezio's family die rather than release them and when Ezio kills him he stabs him multiple times and Ezio afterwards shouts his family name to the crowd.
My favorite one is Francesco de Pazzi. Truly epic and iconic, and also historically accurate. Visited Florence last year and instantly remembered it! Also not sure if it counts but Lucy's death was also shocking and kinda traumatized me since i was only 5-6 when i watched my brother play Brotherhood 😅😅😅
13:25 that line made me remember one time i was playing syndicate and at mid night jacob was at roof and side mission popped (kill the criminals) i air assasinated them it felt like batman
I still remember almost all of the original Assassin's Creed assassinations in the initial game more than almost all of those prior. AC II and Brotherhood are the games that I have gone back to the most, yet the switch up in style made the individual assassinations not so memorable to me. There is a lot of repetitive jank in AC I, but the gathering of information tasks (optional ones too) that lead up to the the ultimate cutscene that does the job of selling you the actual "scene", or the gaming "space" with which to participate in; was genuinely encouraging me to be creative within the environment given. I must concur they have not been done quite as well since. As to be memorable, that is. Later games have a more narrative drive and build up to the inevitable, which I love. But the actual final act, gameplay wise, don't seem to be as focused and memorable to me as those in the first game; in terms of presenting a sandbox space from which to feel individualistic and creative at that moment. And that's just how I personally feel and my memories inform me. Much love. :)
When Bayek killed the Heron, my first thought was "Oh nah... he's HIM" Also I'd love to see a video of you going through your favorite Animus Loading screens. That's one of the things that I always look forward to in each game, the loading screen
The assassination of Berenike aka the Crocodile in Origins was a good one too just because of the sheer rage that Bayek displayed at her murdering little Shadya in the memory corridor.
La Touche is one of my favorite templars in Assassin's Creed, although I think it would been cooler if Arno were to take hold of him and put him on trial, eventuellt being found guilty and executed by guillotine.
@@captainprice2671 I guess so. I sure didn't. I respected the man. I feel like he had such promise in life, just to be demoted to live with literal rats.
Great video. I just had one minor critique. I location with multiple opportunities is a SANDbox not Blackbox. A backbox is an aircrafts onboard flight recorder
SPOILERS The Hyena and the Crocodile from Origins were memorable assassinations. The Crocodile with how vile and deserving of death the person was and the Hyena with the sadness and understanding behind the character. There is also Robert de Sable from AC 1 with going through the Templar Army to reach him and then killing him after Altair had failed to take him down the first time.
Flavius is only fun in New Game Plus where Bayek is so over-fucking-powered that even one attack shreds Flavius to ribbons, skipping that whole stupid boss fight.

I'm Romanian and you pronounced Vali cel Tradat quite correctly. I also kind of agreed with him, and didn't really like the developers of Ac revelations highlighting the ottomans in a positive manner and depicting the byzantines as templars. Since in real life their ideologies were reversed, the byzantines(Wallachians, serbs, etc) fought for the freedom of their people(like the assassins) while the ottomans sought to control and convert europe(much like the templars) I think that if in revelations ezio helped the byzantine assassins fight the ottoman templars while simultaneously obtaining the masyaf keys it would have been better for the plot and also made much more sense.
Can you imagine a assassins creed brotherhood TV series and like seeing that iconic moment from the trailer in live action how awesome would that be..
