I see a new flashback football video. I click on it. I'm a simple man.
Shut up
Unbelievable footballer, he was fantastic in Italia 90. Technically gifted, geniune world class player.
Reminds me of Dejan Petkovic, he played good in Yugoslavia but ended up being kind of mediocre in Spain for Real Madrid and Sevilla but became loved in Brazil, playing for clubs like Flamengo and Vasco da Gama
O Pet! At Real Madrid, he became infamous because he was touted as a great free-kick master, and in the first match the captain refused him to take one. People booed their own captain for that. And loved is an understatement: he is absolutely a legend in Flamengo - even having his name on the Walk of Fame in Maracaná.
Late 80s/early 90s football was way better, yugoslavia had some fantastic players, I remember some playing against Rangers,
He played for that Red Star Belgrade team.
It was less physical. Less commercial. More humane.
Yugoslavia, what a team! The Brazil of Europe in those days.
I always loved this player pure talent thank you you had a great idea
not talked enough
whenever I see old players that didn't show as much as could I see injury problems and always as how much better they could be if they had recovery like modern players now with all technology coaches science and medicine recovery surgery that is now, because in 40 years that is what most improved in sport. . Piksi was never physically dominant, and that militarily service was also a big problem, for a lot of players.
He is Legend in mostly anywhere and IF I recall Verger also said he was most technically gifted player he ever trained.
Also whenever I see old football you see way less running and way more technical stuff that made Football great.
Also as Serbian, you see old Yugoslavian lige and ask how we came from that to these what we have now?!
Do a video on Siniša Mihajlović😊
"Stoikovitchi" as pronounced by Jon Kabira was a beast on winning eleven 3 with Nagoya grampus.
Savićević ❤ what a beast this was. Thanks for this video!
you give me nostalgia for a time before i was even born. didn't think that was possible. as a milan fan, it's also great to hear boban get mentioned, what a legend!
Yugo slavia would have been up there with the likes of france and brazil if the country was never split.
What a legend, he’s so underrated as is the whole Crvena Zvesda teams of the 80s and 90s, I used to see tapes of him playing in the World Cup and for Marseille and my Grandpa talks about him and players from around that era all the time. Also, not sure if you have already but could you do a video on Daniel Passarella, he’s another really underrated player from that era. Him and Kempes were crucial for Argentina.
Just as I'm watching .. I'm wondering if you covered Lubomir Moravcik ..?
Shame they couldnt get him to the uk, think most fans would have taken to him.
He is known by football anoraks in 🏴 skillset is outrageous
He WAS a legend.
Now he's party puppet here in Serbia and a terrible coach (as seen during WC 2022).
And yeah, he likes to promote betting companies.
I guess, everything for the money.
sorry to hear that
Idemoooo Piksiiiiii!!!
Superb video , one of the genuine greats of the game , a genius ….
How about Croatian players in the J-League? I feel like they are unrepresented there besides Mihael Mikić.
Making it all about you, that really is quite lame
The best European fotballer ever that didn't spentt is career in Europe.
Great video. Perhaps a video on Duncan Ferguson?
Brilliant Video. Again.
Good player, awful manager tho
Yes he was.
And there were as good, or better players before him if you care to look. And not only before, in his time.
Savićević, Prosinečki, Šuker, Jugović...
love your videos and would love to see a video about john barnes' time as celtic manager
Hes done that and its well worth a watch
@@iandawe948 yeah i saw, it was a great video
@@sidikitraore7746
All his videos are good to be honest
beware of organized gangstalking !!!!
heh?
Need to make one on the new firm. Would be interesting for non Scot’s to know
Terrible choices of music
On the gear too
In Japan?
Can you do elkeson?
Love this
Argentina got a goal disallowed against Yugoslavia in 1990...and it was a legal goal...
Yugoslavia played much better than argentina that match, dominated, and created more chances.
Stojkovic was also the best player on the field that day.
It is a shame the Yugo's lost in penalties.
@@pistolpetetc and didn't score. As I've said Argentina got a goal wrongly disallowed
Should look into Lubo moravcik. Probably the best and Most underrated players of that generation
The gift from god
He was nowhere near Stojkovic.
@@paolom.6011 100% Lubo was better. Could do anything
Amazing work research ❤ your a knowledgeable and talented man this can be the best football players history players that you don't see these days.. like this man world class and without you alot of football fans wouldn't no about special players like this man 🫶👍
Why thank you sir! Dragan Stoijkovic is a player I only recently discovered myself researching another video and thought he looked an amazing player so I wanted to find out more about him and the story turned out to be interesting!
