Could also give a chance to introduce a new team, and make it from for children to for teens. Age up, and raise the stakes. Would work.
Wylde by far suffered the most in the series. He got ignored by his brother He was gotten into all his big bro's BS, ultimately: lost his car, probably 5 million dollars, pushed into prison, and was definitely tortured in there, lost both of his cars in AR, and was once again, tortured and interrogated by the Drones, and was especially interrogated abt his Flathead Fury. Proof? Drone'd Flathead Fury. And btw, as far as I could remember, Wylde's Corvette is a PROTOTYPE car, think about it, that shit worths so much more than 5 million dollars. "Your brother died in prison..." "I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!!!" "My life's already ruined, whose fault is THAT?!" "Cause I've got nowhere else to go..." Those lines pierce your heart, admit it. Wylde's pain, Vert can see it, Nolo can see it, and especially, Tork can see it. Everybody sees it. But only Kurt can deal with it. Because he has to pay for all his sins. Go Wylde..
Wylde did try to basically kill Kurt when he tried to pin him into that junk pile that could have easily pierced Kurts heart. His ignorant actions and only seeing 5 feet into the future really drags him down.
I dont think Marky lost his savings when he was inside, therefore he later invested that money into building the Spinebuster and Flathead Furry (including selling off his Stingray)

Now, the obvious answer would be drugs, but I don't either of the Wyldes would either use or resell drugs, honestly, and the amount of money Mark lost, plus the relatively short sentence he got don't add up, but then I realized something pretty obvious. Kurt probably knew the dealers were shady, but he might've figured they were either resellers, or got stuff that "fell off the back of a truck", as it were, but then found out that it was either directly stolen, or came from a chop shop and bolted, then told Mark to do the same, but with him wanting to one up Kurt, _and_ the promise of really high-end racing tech for his car made him go through with it anyways, and with Kurt having to admit to being a street racer, having a illegally modified car, and being a possible accessory to grand theft auto, he would've been in jail for a very long time, and decided that Mark only getting a charge of possession of stolen goods, possibly even just a misdemeanor, was the best way of dealing with the situation, even though it backfired spectacularly.
but this makes me think tho, why would wylde want to modify his car even more? before he went to jail, the car he was using was the stingray, wich had tezla's tech from the world race, and acording to tezla himself, his cars are the fastest in the world, wich means wylde could not get a faster car than that, plus the jet boosters and the grapling hook

I just read that apparently acceleracers was cancelled due to becoming more popular than hotwheels itself so Mattel cut funding and canceled the show. That just goes to show that when you actually make a hotwheels show not just for kids it backfires
This really irks me about this is Hot Wheels are going to stay popular no matter what, and Acceleracers could have been a new and profitable franchise for Mattel to capitalize on under the Hot Wheels umbrella.
Kurt and Mark's relationship was the highlight of the show for me. "Your brother died in prison" line hits really hard. The psychological toll of having done time, especially when it's somebody else's, is surprisingly well depicted in this toy car inspired show. You can easily imagine Kurt's little brother's transformation into Wylde, having to survive prison life, treated like an animal by guards, fighting with other inmates, fantasizing about revenge.
I think you can thank Felix from team Wave Rippers, he seems to carry that bad boy vibe around him, surely it had an affect on Mark, i mean in the comics, Felix tooked down ZED 36 easily
I can actually relate to Mark start to finish because me and my older brother were the same way as as teens into adulthood While my brother is much older than me (He was born in 1992 and I was born in 99') I used to look up to him the same way and wanted to be accepted by him. But in a similar fashion he pushed me away a lot and bullied me the same way Kurt did to Mark and would make fun of me for it at times. As we got older he focused less on putting me down and establishing stability I became more focused on getting ahead of him. The first time I tried to move out (I was 19 when this happened, I am 23 now) I got mixed up with some bad people and he tried to get me out but me being as stubborn as I was it resulted in a law enforcement getting involved (I wasn't busted or did jail time but I did face a lot of punishment my stupidity and those effected by it) because I was in deep with some people I was living with at the time (As well as other shady people we hung out with). After 4 months I got tired of all the drama of my roommates at the time (both were drug addicts and verbally abusive at times) I got sick of sitting in the corner like a scared puppy dog when they had episodes so I left and decided it was time to go home. Once I was sober off of drugs, alcohol and being addicted to reckless behavior me and my brother had a minor beef for a while and realized what we both did wrong in addition to the things that lead up to the that point and like Kurt and Wylde put it all behind us and learned to move on. I was the spoiled baby in the family and my Brother was the second oldest after the our oldest brother and my sister was the second youngest before me. So naturally because I was the baby I got spoiled the most and all my extended family expected the most out of my future or in this case my adult life. What they weren't counting on was me being diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and numerous other mental health disorders. Because I grew up in a Mexican family they didn't treat my disabilities the way most Americans do or really understand how to deal with it. My brother is a very smart person and understands psychology and health better than most. Before he got accepted into the fire academy he had to study like crazy for medical training and numerous other fields (he started as a firefighter but is also an EMT now) so he's pretty good with people in addition to his own outlook on life. As I got older I would have violent outburst and mood swings out of my control without my meds (I still do at times but not as often after I quit most of my meds as they weren't helping) and he was the only person I looked up to but also feared at times because I was intimidated him when he was upset and not because he was scary but because he actually punished me since my parents were always too busy working and dealing with keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. I'm so glad they wrapped up this plot line so well. For a series that hypothetically was only meant to sell toys, it really did a fantastic job of introducing and teaching some themes and lessons that no other show for that age demographic was (or has) really done since. You can FEEL how much love and effort was put into making Acceleracers. Fantastic video as always!
Hey you followed my video idea! A 16 minute analysis of Wylde? I couldn’t ask for more! It always depresses me to see how much Wylde suffered so much throughout the movies, including his torture at the Drone HQ, most likely almost turned into what Kadeem did. Edit: Wow I can’t believe I didn’t notice earlier how Wylde became like Kurt in Acceleracers, he became the very thing he hated. Also, it’s amazing how Wylde didn’t side up with the drones and attack Kurt, if I realized that earlier, I would’ve expected Wylde to join the drones.
The whistle sound of his car is similar to a Ketle, like how cartoons use to show Anger or rage about to blow, it's connected to him and probably why we all see Markie is all Rage.
I know this was a year ago, but imma just say this, I can relate with Wylde because some of us had gone through times where we’d feel like we’re looked down upon, judged for being you and other things, Wylde’s cars were even representing who he was, someone who hated his brother for not being kind and caring, not helping him or visiting him when he got sent to prison for two years. In the end, Wylde (after going through hell being tortured by the Racing Drones and being rescued by his brother and the other racers) changed, he begins to care again and goes back to good old Markie but happy cuz his brother came back for him and Markie fought to save Kurt from Kadeem who sadly was beyond saving. Also I hope Flathead Fury and Spinebuster get added into Hot Wheels Unleashed Edit: Even though I never had a brother but having a sister, we used to fight as kids but as adults now, we don’t really argue much but we still love each other as she has my back and I got her’s, she helps comfort me when I’m feeling down or sad as I do the same for her. Moral of the story: love your siblings and cherish the good moments with them
Yo you make acceleracers a masterpiece. I didn’t know there was so much depth to these characters and continuity from previous episodes. Dude keep up the work man.
For some reason, Mark replaced Corvette Stingray with Spinebuster. There must be a reason why the car is called Spinebuster. He replaced the car with Flathead Fury. The reason for this is because Mark became more furious after losing Spinebuster.
Same driver side, single seater, weird device at the passenger slot, same rear tire size, big ass spoiler, how didn’t I think of that?? The only real difference is the engine placement

I saw some aspects of myself in marky both in world race and acceleracers atleast in his relationship with his brother (never to this extent of course) And seeing how they acted upon rewatching it when I was like 14 made me want try and fix my relationship with my brothers. We are all cool now and I have this show to partly thank for that.
There is something that I just noticed now I'm making a cover of the Cosmic Realm theme, and is that both Wylde's Theme and the Cosmic Realm Theme not only are in the same key (F# minor) but also have similar guitar riffs. I don't think this is a coincidence since the Cosmic Realm is the mean the characters use to save Wylde from the Drones (and yeah, you guessed it, the Cosmic Realm theme also has a section where the song modulates and it turns into the Drones Theme for a moment). AcceleRacers is so good that even the music is connected and has continuity. The music alongside the movie tells a story.
He was such a good boy, glad he's back to his old self after all that Imagine what he could have achieved if he stayed with Wave Rippers or perhaps reform Street Breed with Dresdan and the boys boys boys (sorry i watched Modest Pelican here)
The following drivers will enter the realm; Taro Katano, Shirako Takamoto, Vert Wheeler, Diesel Riggs, Kurt Wylde, Mark Wylde. Ugh, those two are as bad as Nolo and Tork, are you encouraging competition again? Curious, isn't it? Nolo can't forget his brother, and Mark Wylde can't forgive his.
Please, please keep making these videos. The way you have made me think new ways about characters have I have known for the past 10+ years is crazy and you blow my mind every video. Keep up the awesome work man you really know how to analyze these movies in such an interesting way!
Just found your content today and I must say I'm always super happy to see another acceleracers youtuber pop up! you picked a good time too since the hype from the new Hotwheels game having RD-02 in it has really brought it up for discussion again!
I have to agree I mean I agree with mark wylde’s actions except for trying to take over the manics I would be pissed if someone threw me in jail for something they started and dragged me into by force or not by force
I don't know if this means anything but Spine Buster also has similar color scheme to Zed-36 Slingshot, black base with some red. Another proof he's becoming like Kurt? 9:36 You missed the chance to say "busted his spine" haha
Wylde was a funny good character in Highway 35 as a young brother trope that wanted to make his brother respect him. But in Acceleracers he did got his respect at the cost of risking thier lives which is very depressing if you think about it. I don't blame Kurt for what he did but seeing Wylde changed took me by surprised yet he chosen that path his brother warned him. However by the end of Acceleracers his actions put the team for once working together in stopping the drones for good plus learning a value lesson that no matter what brothers will always be there for each other that I'm happy Kurt and Wylde Arc is satisfyingly concluded (until it got cancelled but maybe it was for the best).

Groove street for life homie
Also I hope Flathead Fury and Spinebuster get added into Hot Wheels Unleashed
Edit: Even though I never had a brother but having a sister, we used to fight as kids but as adults now, we don’t really argue much but we still love each other as she has my back and I got her’s, she helps comfort me when I’m feeling down or sad as I do the same for her.
Moral of the story: love your siblings and cherish the good moments with them
Kinda neat how Wylde's new car he builds to race Tork and go into the Junk Realm is called Flathead Fury
Ties into this great essay pretty well!!
Yo you make acceleracers a masterpiece.
I didn’t know there was so much depth to these characters and continuity from previous episodes. Dude keep up the work man.
I always felt that there was a sort of intentional role switch between the two over the course of the series. Glad to see you expand upon that thought
For some reason, Mark replaced Corvette Stingray with Spinebuster. There must be a reason why the car is called Spinebuster. He replaced the car with Flathead Fury. The reason for this is because Mark became more furious after losing Spinebuster.
The ironic thing about Wylde is that his and Kurt’s car are built the same exact way.
Same driver side, single seater, weird device at the passenger slot, same rear tire size, big ass spoiler, how didn’t I think of that??
The only real difference is the engine placement
@@duyducluu6821I dont think a Hifi in an SLR Stirling Moss / Ferrari Monza SP2 / Modern Jaguar D-Type is weird... That "Heater" though...
@@duyducluu6821Both Mid Engined - As Wiki says, Mark has a V8 (typical Yankee Car) while Kurts suprisingly has a 4 Cylinder Biturbo (Damn He went to the Lotus Way)
Man his themse song is amazing, would love an actual full song release
Seriously, dude, you need more subscribers, you do such an amazing job going in-depth on all this and also understand how criminally underrated this series is.
I saw some aspects of myself in marky both in world race and acceleracers atleast in his relationship with his brother (never to this extent of course)
And seeing how they acted upon rewatching it when I was like 14 made me want try and fix my relationship with my brothers. We are all cool now and I have this show to partly thank for that.
EXACTLY like the brothers dont keep score segemnt strengthened my relationships wiuth my own brother
You gonna be posting it on your channel when you’re done?
He was such a good boy, glad he's back to his old self after all that
Imagine what he could have achieved if he stayed with Wave Rippers or perhaps reform Street Breed with Dresdan and the boys boys boys (sorry i watched Modest Pelican here)
11:45 so apparently Kurt was the original "Get out of my Car NOW" Meme
BAHAHA TRU
The following drivers will enter the realm; Taro Katano, Shirako Takamoto, Vert Wheeler, Diesel Riggs, Kurt Wylde, Mark Wylde.
Ugh, those two are as bad as Nolo and Tork, are you encouraging competition again?
Curious, isn't it? Nolo can't forget his brother, and Mark Wylde can't forgive his.
Isn't Deisel, Porkchop?
@@MSARCTICEDGE yes
Dialogue that is perfect.
This video is pretty great. I love that acceleracers is getting attention. But dont let this distract from the fact that spinebuster is my car
No it's my cah
It's Monkey's Emergency Car XD
The only reason the sweeper was on him is that this car is the nicest ever made 👌👌👌
@@lauravogt1022 Agree 👍
Incredible and Deep analysis as always.
Remember:.
"SPINEBUSTER IS MY CAR"
can’t believe i didn’t find your channel sooner i’ve been binging it ever since! keep it up man u got my support all the way! Acceleracers the 🐐
I appreciate it!
Wylde with that left arm looks like Venom Snake from MGSV
I love watching these Essays!
I love spinebuster 😸
This video upload schedule is absolutely amazing.keep this up and you’ll be big real fast
Thanks for the video. Can't wait to see the ending (for the first time) and explained.
Please, please keep making these videos. The way you have made me think new ways about characters have I have known for the past 10+ years is crazy and you blow my mind every video. Keep up the awesome work man you really know how to analyze these movies in such an interesting way!
In my country's dub, Wylde's voice is much deeper than Kurt's, so I always thought he was the older brother.
10:35” I won’t leave him again…
UHUH THAT’S WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!
Another way that it was shown through the show is that his 2nd car was actually known as flat head fury
Just found your content today and I must say I'm always super happy to see another acceleracers youtuber pop up! you picked a good time too since the hype from the new Hotwheels game having RD-02 in it has really brought it up for discussion again!
Awesome! Thank you!
Well thats a pretty wylde theory you got there
😂😂😂
Tork should have been a therapist for them
You should talk about how it got cancelled and how the ending of the series could've gone.
Easy answer: Vert saved the Planet - Story done!
Then he Met the Battle Force 5
This is what hate can do to a man. Turns a good albeit cocky kid into a complete maniac
“HEY! WHATS HAPPENING TO MY CAR!”
Good stuff
Missed opportunity to title the video "Wild Wylde"
I have to agree I mean I agree with mark wylde’s actions except for trying to take over the manics
I would be pissed if someone threw me in jail for something they started and dragged me into by force or not by force
the acceleracer videos r great i see real potential to expand your channel if you talked about other series you liked too
I don't know if this means anything but Spine Buster also has similar color scheme to Zed-36 Slingshot, black base with some red. Another proof he's becoming like Kurt?
9:36 You missed the chance to say "busted his spine" haha
The part where Kurt and Markie forgave each other really touched me ❤
Do you prefer the SpineBuster or FlatFury ?
spinebusta
@@chinnymisc i like that too
cool vid hope you grow big
Wylde could've won the world race if he had just hit the Nitrox²
2:45 that is a weird thing to think about. How do all the other drivers reach the next checkpoint? Do they also start at the starting line and race there? or does Tezla just fly them there instantly. Or do they have to pay for their one-way tickets.
please watch shadow raiders. it's made by the same people as acceleracers, and is just as good. the entire series is free to watch on youtube. you won't regret it
Hello There boy, For the fact that you are doing continuous reviews about, acceleracers. I would like to report that I have a rewrite of the full story hopefully I will reach great, to get a Remastered
Nobody, beats Kurt Wylde!!!
Except when wylde punched him in the face
Because if you try he sends you to prison 😂
Sorry 😅 jokes on the side.
14:18 LOL, found a mistake in the film. Wilde is missing the chain here XD
for ever favorite scene 0:52
I love your Essays, they actually teach me some Stuff of Acceleracers I didn't knew.
Btw, Wylde's Theme has a Name, it's called Moving Metal, what do You think it could connect with him and his Personality? (Just want to know your opinion)
i did -i mentioned in the video that it shows his rage because it plays everytime he wants revenge
@@chinnymisc I meant The Name of The Song in particular, I know You talked about it, don't worry

DO A VIDEO ON
WHAT IF MARK WILD WON THE JUNK REALM
AND KURT WAS CAPTURED BY THE DRONES INSTEAD OF MARK
YOU KNOW IT WOULD BE EPIC I SEE THE VISION ALREADY
Wylde's fury: 😊
Wylde's furry: 💀
6:26
so let me get this straight:
Tezla has manufactured these hyper cars with all these gadgets and durable as jupiter but fails to install a simple air bag, which could have prevented markie from being knocked out nere...
Markie built his own car so I think his arrogance blinded him.into thi nmking he was good enough not to have one
@@chinnymisc that could be a possibility... I mean spine buster had a burning fire inside of it 😅 if I saw that correctly.
This man doesn't need no safety 🙏

1 question what actually happened to lost drivers like banjee???????
They became Silencerz
you sound like vivareviere haha
If markee is Kurt's lil bro, then why does markee look like he's taller
he just is lmao thats how they made it
I watched the video at 0.25x to find out if markee is taller than kurt
Sheeeeeeee
