Thanks for the shoutout! I'm jungle_penguins, I edit all the Battle Force 5 videos on Tezla's Cube, a collaborative channel consisting fans of the Hot Wheels AcceleRacers series. Watched your other videos on shows like Slugterra weeks ago, and love your input on these forgotten shows. If anyone has the Full Revolution english version, please share. Fun fact, despite season 2 being dedicated to fusion vehicles, pretty much the majority of season 2's toys never released in the US/Canada, so in a way they were advertising non-existent product, I guess they cut their losses but not far enough to where they cut the animation. Speaking of, Nelvana isn't credited for the Full Revolution finale, suggesting Mattel themselves commissioned it. This also means they shelved it for a year before it aired only in Latin America. This subseries is pretty weird at times.
One thing that is also overlooked is how good the games were online for these random shows. It felt like cartoon channels were competing more so everyone was really going for it
As a kid it was devastating when I learned there wouldn't be another season. I had one of each car and thoroughly enjoyed the story even if it was a bit much to take in.
When you mentioned Storm Hawks, something in my brain just activated, thank you for reminding me of a series I’ve been wanting to rewatch for years. Now if only I could remember the name of another series on Cartoon Network that aired around 09 about jet fighters.

I think transformers/hasbro have been releasing transformer shows on their channel which is nice and to an extent the creators of slugterra have it on their channel. The motorcycle that turned into 4 wheels was sick tho 2nd edit: wait so the thing i watched classed the episodes differently. Thanks Jordan, I thought about this show a few months ago and could never figure out what it was called. I'm glad you've helped me re-live part of my childhood again!
My kid brother was so heavy into this series when he was little, and as a result I ended up watching with him. Shockingly it was pretty good for the most part, and I enjoyed watching with him as a form of bonding. I even passed on that very same carpet (or one almost identical) to him with most of my own collected cars from my youth, so this was a pretty great show for me to enjoy with him. Fond memories and the story was pretty interesting, perhaps too interesting for a children's show but even so i greatly enjoyed the time spent watching together with him.
Wow! I never would have thought you’d bring up something Acceleracers related! I absolutely loved World Race and Acceleracers and hated the show and what they did to the property.
Finally! I can’t stress enough how slept on the Hot Wheels shows/movies are. In the video Jordan wishes there was an official English ending for BF5. Meanwhile the entire hot wheels fandom has been begging since 2008 for a 5th Acceleracers movie!
I haven't known this channel for long. But Everytime I see you on my recommended, i get more and more memories unlocked. THANK YOU SO MUCH. i don't really remember much of my childhood, so every time I see a show I recognize even though i have forgotten them, I feel more in touch with my past self. You're doing god's work.
I love this series despite the hate it gets not being the acceleracers sequel. It's still a really good show i wish other people have it credit for how solid it is. Please do highway 35 or acceleracers, i love much love they've gotten in recent years.
Mexican here. I still have one of my dvds of the finale because it came with a box of candies that also came with a little track and car. I still have some of those little cars today!
I remember this series it was really good for some reason. It had interesting characteristics both in the cars and the story. The animation hasn't bad for a 3D animated series.
I did enjoy the series, but I always wondered if the Vert Wheeler shown in this show was in any way related to the one shown in Acceleracers. I feel like it could’ve add some cool extra lore to the series if the two were connected, plus it would give Acceleracers an actual conclusion rather than what we did get (which from what I’ve seen is nothing)!
Totally separate character. Their origin stories are entirely different. Battle force 5's vert for instance was a kart racer as a kid. He did a lot of driving from a young age in the valley in which the series takes place. He has no desire to work for a team despite that being something he should've learned when he was 16 leading the Wave Rippers. Meanwhile WR/AR Vert starts off surfing and skatebording and actually really has a difficult time driving when he starts off in the Deora II and continues to struggle up until the Ultimate Race. By which point you can assume he figured things out as the Infinite Loop version of Vert is from the same continuity and he has several championships to his name. So they're entirely different unless there are some massive retcons.
Hey Jordan, I would have liked a little description of what a standard episode contains or even a one word summary of the characters. You cover the VAs already and a bit about the enemies but the main 6 get nothing. Thanks for the video!
One of the things I love about the early 2000s hot wheels animations is that instead of just being toy sales, they went the extra mile and had ridiculously cool sci-fi plots. Not only that, the video games from the PS2 era were actually really well made compared to other toy based games from the time. Considering the PS2 hot wheels games should’ve been shovelware, it’s amazing that they, especially Word Race, are so good
Hot Wheels Battle Force 5 was a money driven sequel (kinda sequel) to Acceleracers. Mattel realized that there was more money to be made in a tv series rather than movies, so they cancelled the (unofficial, although there were plans) Acceleracers 5th and 6th movies and began production on Battle Force 5. That's why Acceleracers was left on such a cliffhanger. Originally the idea of combining the cars was going to be in Acceleracers 5 and 6 however they were later changed to be included in Battle Force 5. Now for my opinion. Acceleracers + Highway 35 are superior to Battle Force 5, that's why they've gained a much more cult like reputation online, and why mattel re released some of the original Acceleracers designs in their new game. While Battle Force 5 felt like a cash grab to sell toys, Acceleracers never truly felt like that. The story had much more passion and was a lot less childish, had deep lore that touched on a lot of more adult topics (crime, death, etc). I want Mattel to pay tribute to Acceleracers by releasing and acknowledging Acceleracers more, because there are a lot of diehard fans waiting, even after 17 years. Another part of me is glad that they never released Acceleracers 5 and 6, because I feel as though the idea of combining vehicles and other topics that were transferred to Battle Force 5 wouldn't have been a great addition to Acceleracers. Although more content would be appreciated, it is not always required. That's why Acceleracers is the most painfully perfect brand tied movies to ever exist. Also make an episode on Acceleracers please. More large TH-camrs need to acknowledge the existence of those movies to an audience who has maybe never heard of them and emphasize that they should be watched at least once to truly be appreciated. K rant over :)

The only thing about this show I remember is the one time that the cat guy said "we just need math". That one scene has been living rent-free in my head for years.
I remember watching Hot Wheels World Race and Acceleracers growing up. Them and this show were so sick.
No kidding, Storm Hawks was awesome back in the day and I remembered the show just not the name.
I’ve been desperately asking all of my friends if they remember this and I was convinced I made it up. You’re the best
11:35 to 11:50, wait, so you're telling me that I was one of thosands that actually saw the ending of this amazing series (since I'm from South America), while the rest of the worldwide fans were left with a bloody cliffhanger!!, thats actually a neat fact to know.
This show was awesome no matter how old it is. This and the Speed Racer movie will always one of my most fondest memories of my childhood that were related to cars, its always fun to watch them!
I am still crying in my igloo up here. I don't know if I'm happy that it has a proper ending, or disappointing that I never saw it all those years ago. Even if I rewatched it I'd be missing out on the childish joy that's long gone. Sad
Never heard about this show, but my obsession with Storm hawks in the past helps me recognize signature style of the Nerd corps from the brief glance. Really surreal feeling.
Storm Hawks was the shit!! First show I saw with that unique animation that spand multiple others
Storm Hawks definitely fucks, I'm still mad that we never got more especially after that cliffhanger... I wonder if anyone uploaded the series online anywhere?
@@BlueTeam-John-Fred-Linda-Kelly I only know where full russian dub can be downloaded.
@@BlueTeam-John-Fred-Linda-Kelly Storm hawks HD here on TH-cam has the full series uploaded in 1080p alongside another show that similar to Storm Hawks. I absolutely recommend watching it
All I could remember about this show was the sick motorcycle that could fly and for the longest time I could not remember what it was. Holy shit this brings back so many memories. I also really loved the car that would just start walking with its tires that was cool as hell.
Its the chopper
@@deathripperfromhell7977 I liked Stanford's car alot because it reminded me of my fathers BMW in regards to their shape and structure. Plus those sonic cannons were cool
I was kid when this aired i saw pre release trailers then the release trailers and then the show.
It was awesome. At one point during my childhood i went to rewatch it but it was gone saddened i put it in the back of mind and forgot about it.
Thanks for reminding me. After i watch your vid ima go watch it again.
I love the second season where they would fuse their cars together. I'd always scream "Unite & Strike!" alongside them
Acceleracers and World Race for sure next. Those are my favorite haha. I swear Im not biased to the Deora 2. Swear. 👀.
Also yeah, hope Mattel does a release for all Hot Wheels shows somewhere. At the moment it is ridiculous trying to watch these things.
Great Video, even got me to think about revisiting BF5
I think transformers/hasbro have been releasing transformer shows on their channel which is nice and to an extent the creators of slugterra have it on their channel.
I don’t think there’s much stopping Mattel from putting the hot wheels content on their channel or a dedicated channel they have the owner ship and unfortunately stripped the movies from us
I had an amazing toy car based on the protagonist's, it had a cool gimmick where the car could flip and still "drive"
just like in the show
I had that car, but it was the McDonald's toy
I know right, I love that one episode where is literally soccer with cars and all the awesome stunts in that show.
I had the purple one where the sides pop open like airplane wings
Me too, the McDonald's version.
Man this takes me back, had the CD’s on every road trip and watched them on a 480p 10” player. Simpler times
This series is for sure in my top 5 cartoon intros of all times. Such a banger
I don't remember this one as much, but my personal favorite was Hot Wheels Accelerators, there was even an online game on their website akin to it
Honestly some days I just get the sudden urge to watch old cartoons from time to time and this one usually ranks surprisingly high on my list
Please do a "Wait... Remember" on World Race and Acceleracers. I love these 2 shwos. I saw the Jackhammer at 0:29 and was like "Hey. A video to Acceleracers would be awesome" and then you teased it. I am hyped already
I watched this with my friend 2 months ago for the first time since I was a kid and I find it so funny that so many people are watching it again now.
This show was my jam back in the day
...I just realized that 2009 was 15 years ago... damn I feel old!
YES I DO. I binged it all on tv. Didnt care for hotwheels but was very frustrated by the end cliff-hanger. I remember the villains being fun even if it wasnt great. One of the only shows I saw all of as a kid.
edit: Wait hold on theres more than 100 episodes? Other people join the team? nooo I never got to finish! The motorcycle that turned into 4 wheels was sick tho
2nd edit: wait so the thing i watched classed the episodes differently. I guess it probably was the ending or maybe there were a few missing since it was only 99 or 100 but the real episodes number was 52 which im guessing they split in two... weird
3rd: Its the freaking movie ahh
I remember the ending if you want spoilers
Thanks Jordan, I thought about this show a few months ago and could never figure out what it was called.
I'm glad you've helped me re-live part of my childhood again!
My friend and I binge-watched this show on Friday. The theme song is now stuck in my head.
Great theme song
This show was such a sleeper show like u didn’t expect much from it and it was so good
My kid brother was so heavy into this series when he was little, and as a result I ended up watching with him.
I remember watching this with my two brothers as a kid. This show was really good.
Man i haven't thought about this show since i was a child this was an awesome show
This, Max Steal, and Slugtera.
Are part of my childhood.
Speaking of which, what about talking about Max Steal next?
same and kaijudo
@@fuzzzamasu6836 never heard of it. I'll look it up soon
I love this series despite the hate it gets not being the acceleracers sequel. It's still a really good show i wish other people have it credit for how solid it is. Please do highway 35 or acceleracers, i love much love they've gotten in recent years.
This show takes me back. I used to watch Battle Force 5 on CN around 8 in the morning along with Beyblade.
Mexican here. I still have one of my dvds of the finale because it came with a box of candies that also came with a little track and car. I still have some of those little cars today!
Thx for the nostalgia trip.
I remember this series it was really good for some reason.
It had interesting characteristics both in the cars and the story.
The animation hasn't bad for a 3D animated series.
I loved this show as a kid, I never knew they had that finale special!
I remember this being one of the first series that got me really invested into its lore as a child, nostalgia is real
Yo this show went SO DAMN HARD, I loved it so much as a kid!! Awesome video!
I looooved this show! And watching it back again now, the sound design gives me chills! It’s SOOOO good
Remember Max Steel? The show or movie? The hype and promo Disney gave that show will forever be ingrained into my memory
Always nice seeing this underrated show get its due recently :)
I really wished that Acceleracers continued after that cliffhanger
You just reunlocked a core memory
I HAVE HAD THIS GOD FORSAKEN SERIES STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR THE PAST DECADE, NOW I FINALLY REMEMBER THE NAME, PRAISE YE JORDAN
Maybe not massive retcons but that is still very informative. Thank you
Oh yeah. This existed.
Considering the PS2 hot wheels games should’ve been shovelware, it’s amazing that they, especially Word Race, are so good
forgotten memory unlocked, this is a throwback
IMO Battle force 5 better and it was totally worth it
THIS WAS MY SHIT
Peak force 5 fr
This show was my LIFE. Not everyday you see a badass woman of color with NATURAL HAIR in an American TV show. Fell in love from the first episode! Agura was my role model growing up, man!
I saw the thumbnail, and it was like you unlocked a hidden memory.
Bro that carpet tracks is spot on. I have them too 😂
Battle force is not even like hotwheels but more like the power rangers of cars ...
This is what kids these days should be watching...instead of some new crappy shows with garbage in them
Everytime I think of an old show you make it, it’s crazy and I love it
I forgot this show existed until today, now I remember watching this a lot
OMG, I've waited for this video of my childhood show for soooooo long, I'm so happy you've done it!
Honestly this is super nostalgic to me
The day i saw this after 3 days later this got released, my first response was "...yeah? I always remember them all the times." Great video!
Thank you for giving this show recognition. I remember loving this show as a kid and trying to get all the toys for Christmas…….good times
I’m glad the full episodes are on TH-cam.
Watching Battle Force 5 was my late childhood to my teen years. I absolutely loved the show and have binge watched it multiple times over the years.
Also, it's a random thing to remember about my childhood lol, I distinctly remember having that exact same road carpet in my room as a kid and using it to play with all my toy cars back in the day.
Never forgotten! Favorite kids show when I was younger!!!
Man, I just wanna say thank you about two weeks ago I remembered this cartoon about a teen driving car bout the memories was vague but remembered that really loved it search everywhere but did find anything, around this same time I saw your youtube channel, and saw you were finding old and really forgotten cartoons sp I subscribed hoping you could find my cartoon two weeks later low and behold. THANK YOU SO MUCH
I’m glad someone’s covering this because this theme has been stuck in my head for too long
BRO IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR YEARS I FORGOT ABOUT THIS SHOW AND IVE BEEN WANTING TO FIND IT BECAUSE IT WAS SO BADASS TO ME WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
My sister loved the intro of the show. I downloaded it on my old Iphone way back when and set it to play on repeat. She had Down Syndrome and passed away 3 years ago.
YO, you are my hero man, ive been trying to remember the name of this cartoon because i absolutely loved it when i was a kid. thx a lot, might rewatch it soon.
I cant believe Brian Drummond voiced not only Kurt Wyld from Highway 35/Acceleracers, but also Sherman and Krytus in Battle Force 5 🏁🔥🌟
This is awesome. I remember the first time I discovered Battle Force 5, it ws a weird time in my life. My parents just had another baby and we were moving out of our apartment while we waited for our new home to be built. In the mean time we lived with grandma for a few months and that's when this show came out. I was switching schools and would wake up 6 because my dad would take me to school when this show happened to be playing. One of the best shows with surprisingly good quality and very underrated is how I'll always remember it.
I was homeschooled…my lunch was 12 to 1, one full hour.
Due to my parents being less than savvy on me watching TV, I was forced to rely solely on Nick and only Nick, so 12:00 to 12:30 was battle force 5, while 12:30 to 1 was Stormhawks.
Yes, I had an amazing roster…but the shows were catchy and I did enjoy them what it was worth.
i have been remembering this show for the longest time you finally reminded the name of it to me
