    THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS! The ceramic tile floor in my kitchen was embarrassing but trying to clean the grout with chemicals and a drill brush took hours and was exhausting. Right after I saw this video I went onto Amazon and purchased a steam cleaner similar to the one you talk about in the video. I just cleaned the grout on the floor in my kitchen and it did an amazing job! THANKS! THANKS! THANKS!

    Zep is making. Used it tonight. I honestly couldn’t believe how great it worked. After 3 minutes I didn’t even need a brush to clean the crud.

    As a stone restoration tech. Zep is the best chemical cleaner but it has to be used on porcelain and ceramic tiles only because it will stain natural stone.

    This is not a commercial, but as a fellow sufferer, I wanted to share my success. I have been a type 1 diabetic for coming up on 43 years and also have Gastroparesis and went through many unplanned hospitalizations and other treatments, but I was fortunate to find a great doc who was involved in a study to impact as gastric pacer (basically a pacemaker for your stomach) and it changed my life. If I were her, I would look into this. Mine is made by Medtronic and I have had zero hospitalizations due to Gastroparesis since the first implant in 2005 and highly recommend it!

    I've been squeezing water on the cracks with a washcloth and then sprinkling comet on the cracks and scrubbing them with a denture brush and it's working great. And, then I wipe it down with a wet cloth and I can't believe the difference! I still have to finish the laundry room and the hallway. This works better than the methods that she's demonstrating in the above video.

    Using cleaners that are not ment for grout break down the sealer, this might clean it now but cause more dirt build up as its no longer protected

  • @cherrybearylemondrop

    The difference between the steam and sprays was quite visible. I like that the dawn and oxy clean were relatively effective though, because I'm not sure I want to buy another machine

      I'm getting more and more curious what the lowest maintenance floors are now .. I don't like carpet because it's impossible to do a full deep clean (even with a rug doctor - I went over my carpets 3x and the water was still grey). Tile is easy for regular cleanings, but the grout is a bit harder to maintain. I wonder about engineered hardwood / laminate flooring.

    • @cherrybearylemondrop
      @cherrybearylemondrop 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Oh, and linoleum - that's probably very easy to maintain

    • @CleanFreakGermaphobe

      True...steam cleaners are another appliance, but one of my favorites by far.😁 Honestly my favorite part was not having to bend down to clean the grout.

    I have tried so many products on my floor grout, especially where the dog runs in and out of the house. My grout color is called parchment, its like in-between a taupe and bone with a salmon undertone. The only thing that has worked so far is Clorex Kitchen Clean-Up with Bleach. Let it sit for 5 mins or so and then use a brush to scrub (I have a long handled grout brush) the dirt and stains away. It's a bit strong smelling but it works.

    Ok we have been trying spot testing every product possible
    on grout we have 2000 sq ft house with white tile and white grout and I don’t want to pay a fortune for a company to do it. After trying all the ways including my steamer - Microband 24 hour multi cleaner won! It is white again so that I can now seal it! I can’t believe it - I would have never guessed!

    Well As a professional cleaner, that owned a commercial maintenance business, steam cleaning is not the end all. It's good for what it does but there cases where a emulsifier is needed to get all of the grout and tile cleaned. Then you steam cleaned/clean up the rest.
