THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS! The ceramic tile floor in my kitchen was embarrassing but trying to clean the grout with chemicals and a drill brush took hours and was exhausting. Right after I saw this video I went onto Amazon and purchased a steam cleaner similar to the one you talk about in the video. I just cleaned the grout on the floor in my kitchen and it did an amazing job! THANKS! THANKS! THANKS!
As a stone restoration tech. Zep is the best chemical cleaner but it has to be used on porcelain and ceramic tiles only because it will stain natural stone.
This is not a commercial, but as a fellow sufferer, I wanted to share my success. I have been a type 1 diabetic for coming up on 43 years and also have Gastroparesis and went through many unplanned hospitalizations and other treatments, but I was fortunate to find a great doc who was involved in a study to impact as gastric pacer (basically a pacemaker for your stomach) and it changed my life. If I were her, I would look into this. Mine is made by Medtronic and I have had zero hospitalizations due to Gastroparesis since the first implant in 2005 and highly recommend it!
I've been squeezing water on the cracks with a washcloth and then sprinkling comet on the cracks and scrubbing them with a denture brush and it's working great. And, then I wipe it down with a wet cloth and I can't believe the difference! I still have to finish the laundry room and the hallway. This works better than the methods that she's demonstrating in the above video.
My sister has gastroparesis (not sure I spelled that right) thank you for mentioning it. I’d never heard about it before my sis. Bless you for helping her out.
The difference between the steam and sprays was quite visible. I like that the dawn and oxy clean were relatively effective though, because I'm not sure I want to buy another machine
I'm getting more and more curious what the lowest maintenance floors are now .. I don't like carpet because it's impossible to do a full deep clean (even with a rug doctor - I went over my carpets 3x and the water was still grey). Tile is easy for regular cleanings, but the grout is a bit harder to maintain. I wonder about engineered hardwood / laminate flooring.
True...steam cleaners are another appliance, but one of my favorites by far.😁 Honestly my favorite part was not having to bend down to clean the grout.
Just started watching but imma guess.. the oxy ones will work the best.. I'll be back after i watch it lol I feel duped, i guessed before she surprised us with the steam cleaner lol heck yeah the steam cleaner wins hands down!
Great video! I’ve been looking for a floor steamer with a long attachment like that for grout cleaning! My back can’t handle the little hand held short ones.
I have tried so many products on my floor grout, especially where the dog runs in and out of the house. My grout color is called parchment, its like in-between a taupe and bone with a salmon undertone. The only thing that has worked so far is Clorex Kitchen Clean-Up with Bleach. Let it sit for 5 mins or so and then use a brush to scrub (I have a long handled grout brush) the dirt and stains away. It's a bit strong smelling but it works.
I have a Bissell Powershot and I find it still doesn’t clean it good enough even with scrubbing.. I’ll have to try toilet bowel cleaner, I saw someone else use it and it worked great
Ok we have been trying spot testing every product possible on grout we have 2000 sq ft house with white tile and white grout and I don’t want to pay a fortune for a company to do it. After trying all the ways including my steamer - Microband 24 hour multi cleaner won! It is white again so that I can now seal it! I can’t believe it - I would have never guessed!
Well As a professional cleaner, that owned a commercial maintenance business, steam cleaning is not the end all. It's good for what it does but there cases where a emulsifier is needed to get all of the grout and tile cleaned. Then you steam cleaned/clean up the rest.
That's some bull shhhh the zep grout cleaner does work!! Next time try to actually pour it on the grout like I did with all the rest cause the zep is amazing look at other videos of it!! Use it it works !!!
Hmm, watched a bunch of videos on how to clean my shower wall tiles today, and was shocked by your floor test. I wonder if it'll be the same with the shower. I actually have a steam cleaner I don't remember last time I used, but maybe it's time to drag it out instead of trying these chemicals or home remedies...
I do like using the steam cleaner for grout cleaning but. The test wasn't fair. The steam cleaner has a harder bristle brush. Well, I know mine is harder than a tooth brush idk about the one you used.
The woman who owns the house has a severe chronic illness, I don’t think her priority is on keeping her home spotless. Maybe you should think a bit with an open mind before leaving a comment like that!

Hooray! Thanks for telling us, we have to agree. We love steam cleaners too!!
I often hear people say that it's important to reseal the grout after a clean like this!
Baking soda and peroxide on a light grout worked great for us.
Zep is making. Used it tonight. I honestly couldn’t believe how great it worked. After 3 minutes I didn’t even need a brush to clean the crud.
Does it have a strong smell?
The yellow Awesome works best!!!

Very sweet of you to organize for her, can’t wait to see the before and after 😊
Thank you 🙏 We already did it. Check it out th-cam.com/video/SKCn5-9k3A0/w-d-xo.html

Thank you for your comment. It is a terrible disease. I'm sorry you sister is going through that😔
Steamer is the best in my opinion. Chemical free and great job it does
Using cleaners that are not ment for grout break down the sealer, this might clean it now but cause more dirt build up as its no longer protected

Oh, and linoleum - that's probably very easy to maintain

@@CleanFreakGermaphobe that's a huge advantage, also no scrubbing!
Yup. We love steam cleaners. I can't imagine cleaning my home without it.
Bless her heart for her troubles and you for helping her 💗💗💗thank you for sharing
I love seeing you help people who really need it. Bless your friend.
That sounds wonderful I love clean floors A steam cleaner or steam mop is always necessary, especially in the bathrooms!
Thank you so much for this video! It was very helpful and time saving!

Just started watching but imma guess.. the oxy ones will work the best.. I'll be back after i watch it lol
I feel duped, i guessed before she surprised us with the steam cleaner lol heck yeah the steam cleaner wins hands down!
Super Clean diluted 1:8 works amazing as is very cost effective.
Love your videos. Appreciate the effort you go to to debunk some myths as well.
Great video! I’ve been looking for a floor steamer with a long attachment like that for grout cleaning! My back can’t handle the little hand held short ones.
Once all the grout lines are clean and dry maybe put a sealer on it to make it stay cleaner longer?
Yes absolutely. Sealing the grout also makes it easier to clean
Love it! Would love to see a comparison like this for power scrubbers!
Great video amazing tips
Glad you like them!

What if you combine the steam with a treatment. Like pretreat then steam or steam and then use a product. Which product was cheapest per use?
thanks i was lazy to extra research but your vid help greatly than me guessing "chemical cleaner".
The steamer was the best...no chemicals just steam...cheap...safe and fast
I can't wait for that video!!
Stay tuned.....😁
I watched you pregnancy videos all through my pregnancy... we shocked when you face and voice popped up 🤣 I was so confused 🥰
Yup. Looks like you've discovered my other obsession besides women’s health... I love cleaning😁
I have a Bissell Powershot and I find it still doesn’t clean it good enough even with scrubbing.. I’ll have to try toilet bowel cleaner, I saw someone else use it and it worked great
Yes it has my floor looking brand new
You should try out that oxi spray stuff you showed, letting it sit a few minutes, and then instead of wiping it away, use the steamer.

Wow, I’ve got to try it! You mean Microban, right? This one? amzn.to/3IgALpC (ad)

Have to try the goo gone tile & grout next time! I got on clearance at home goods and love it now!
What a great friend!
Vinegar and baking soda. It sparkles.
I heard vinegar is really bad for grout
Steam cleaner 🎉
Zep Grill and oven cleaner works the best
There is nowhere to be found 😢
Cant wait to see before and after clean at your friend house. You are a true friend bless you both xx
Thank you🙏 Will be staring that soon. Stay tuned.

I fell upon your videos because I was looking for steam cleaner reviews. I love your videos and a new subscriber! Please keep the videos coming🙂
Welcome and thanks so much for subbing!
I just ordered a stream cleaner so this makes me happy 😃
Congratulations! Which one did you get?
If you have epoxy grout, NEVER use a steam cleaner!
Thanks for the tip, we haven't yet cleaned that type of grout but good to point out!
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe this is not true, I steam epoxy grout as well as any other forms of grout daily
Can you organize and clean refrigerator
why not just use a "tile & grout" cleaner instead of dish soap, laundry detergent, and toilet cleaner?🤔
The Awesome that you had in your bucket will work the best.
DO NOT USE toilet bowl cleaner on tile with a polished finished. It will ruin the floor
I bet its the dawn spray
That is a good guess...😁
Heyyyyy it's Diana in the pink
Haha yup. You've discovered my second passion... I love cleaning💜
I wish this test was on white grout.
VX-5000.
1:1 bleach and water, spray, no scrubbing, come back a few hours later, done.
you could have just said noneof them work
what? steam cleaner results?
Steam cleaner was the best by a long shot
Streamer
Too much talking...
That is a very nasty, dirty and gross kitchen ! I just cant imagine how her bathroom looks like
The woman who owns the house has a severe chronic illness, I don’t think her priority is on keeping her home spotless. Maybe you should think a bit with an open mind before leaving a comment like that!
You didn’t try Grout EEZ.
That’s the best on the grout cleaner market. Redo a new video showing it.
