    Great update! Perhaps next to the B&Q you could have pallets of compost, top soil, bark chippings, stones etc :)

      Hi Danny, many thanks for taking the time to keep watching my videos. Weather should cool down in September so we can get back into the loft and start running some trains.
      Darrell Deltic came back to me within a couple hours of me posting the video with a possible fix for the Drax wagons which worked for him so I will attempt this next week when I am off work for a few days. All the best Kind Regards David

    Hi David, love the layout update. As you know I had these wagons but I got rid of mine sometime ago cause of the same issues you raised. I like you donr want to just look at them but run them but since I had so many issues with them I sold them on for something that worked properly. I had constant derailing problems with them. Like you said shame such a lovely wagon to look at.

      Hi Susannah, thank you very much and I am glad you liked the update. Through one of my subscribers there may be a way to improve the bogie flexibility, so I will give it a try on a wagon at some point next week. Fingers crossed it works as I really love the look of these wagons. All the best David

    Hi David, I have being watching your layout on & off! mainly due to being distracted (burning my dinner, phone, or something else never subcribed over the last few months). I live on a narrow boat so have very limited area to model (I have tried N gauge needing reading glasses + mag glass tooo small, OO9 yes but, not not my real interest, so gone back to a very simple OO station layout, ie a point to a siding with catch point) fiddle yard is Hornby platforms upside down, cut down to the leight of DMU or the old Peco loco lift SL/43 as my fiddle yard. when you say Ho people are small remember we are all different sizes, I am 5'8'' my ex didn't reach my shoulders and I am migit against someone who is 6'+ so HO on people does work but but buildings, Well unless there set well back another question.

    Great update, I had a massive problem with my Drax wagons derailing constantly due to the restricted lateral movement on the bogies and as I’ve got a layout with inclines it got me thinking so I removed the bogies , gently pinched the clip together and used an insulated screwdriver to slightly enlarge the mounting hole to allow a bit more movement in the bogie, it was a bit of trial and error until they move a bit more freely, happy to say they’ve never derailed since , hope this helps

      Hi Darrell, thank you so much for watching he video and also taking the time to get in touch with a fix. Will give it a try on a wagon when I can next get in the loft. All the best David

      @@davidedwards6811 no worries David, like I say try a gentle squeeze at first so it clips back in gently without dropping out, they’re too nice a wagon to give up on 👍

    have you tried magnetic couplings I think they also make a coach coupling witch is like a flexi type cored may help you out nice lay out

      I had not even considered magnetic couplings, but will do so, thank you very much for the tip

    Your bridge gurters might need a bit of rust. Not to much.
    Red lights a bit much it looks like a red light district.
    Though it doesn't sound like it , I love all your scenes. They are all well done.

    • @davidedwards6811
      @davidedwards6811 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Bob, Yes some more rust is needed, going slowly as previously I went mad with the rust and it looked awful.
      Totally agree with the red lights, going to swap them out ASAP. Cheers David

    How do the bogies attach to the wagon body?
    Can you take them off and add a washer spacer on the pivot axel before you reattach?
    Just a thought.
    The bodie connection to the body is obviously too rigid.
    Good luck.

    • @warwickroadmodelrailway
      @warwickroadmodelrailway  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello, thanks for taking the time to comment.
      The bogies are attached with a plastic lug which pushes through a hole in the base of the wagon. The connection is so tight the bogies have no flexibility. I am considering adding a spacer to improve the clearance between the bogie and wagon.

    • @monsvillerailways5736
      @monsvillerailways5736 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@warwickroadmodelrailway can you slightly enlargen the hole it goes through in the base of the wagon so the arm has more "slop"?
      That with a washer may help. 🤞

    Great details on your bridges and a very busy town scene. I am thinking of building stairs from the street down to the platform, you have done a great job with that too. 📐
