Thank you Duncan for taking the time to view the video, I really am impressed with the scalecast retaining wall, i also previously purchased the cable trunking and lineside cabinets casts which are also very good. All the best when you start your layout. David

Hi Allan, thank you so much for taking the time to look at my layout, just getting started with the channel so more than happy for a shout out.. I am a massive 66 fan 17 of them at the moment. Once again thanks for viewing and also subscribing to my channel. Al the best David
Again, came across from Alan at DJ. Great layout, excellent detail - love the scenery work/trees you have done, along with the shopping street detailing. Greetings from Perth, Western Australia!
You have a great layout and those improvements really worked . I like all the detail and i use Shedring Hobbies too as they have a good selection. In respect of getting the old loco up and running I use Rob at Boomerang Junction for my DCC conversions any any other work as he is very good and reasonably priced his website has his contact details ( Home (boomerangjunction.co.uk) Cheers Kev
Hi Kev, thanks very much for taking the time to view the channel. Thank you for the information on getting old locos converted to DCC, already had a quote of over £100.00 which seems very high.. All the best David
Hi Ollie, thank you so much for the subscribe I really appreciate it. It is a shame that there are not more 68's on the network so that Dapol could add more real liveries. All the best David
Nice update enjoyable. What is the size of the layout and track plan. Nice sounding fleet of locos and trains. The roofs look very good much better than the metcalfe atb Andy
Hi Andy, the layout is at its longest point 29 feet long by 8 & 1/2 feet wide but the track plan is like a reverse small g. The top part which is shown in the video is the original layout albeit significantly changed over time, it is 10 feet long by 8 & 1/2 feet wide. The rest is the extension which runs about 2 feet wide till the bottom end of the loft where I have a section allowing the double tracks to return back to the main layout without reverse loops. I am really pleased with the roofs on the shops, going to tackle the Metcalfe church roof next. All the best David
What ever must other residents think about rubbish being dumped like that? Are any of the housed rented out by dubious landlords? Surely the council can do something about the rubbish?
I did think about adding a Transit van showing he council clearing up but this council like others has a lack of money so rubbish left, like a lot of shops like this in real life I planned on them being rented out by dodgy landlords
Hi, I thought I had already left this post, but I can't find it - are you blocking URL links ??? Anyhow, some great modelling there and amazing attention to detail. You may be interested in this Noch retaining wall, it is available in various lengths and styles, Matt Smith has used some on his layout Jubilee Road. I got mine from MSL, but it is also available from UK model shops. link deleted - Noch 58059 Arcade Wall
Hi Dave, thanks for getting in touch, I don't think I received a previous message from you and to the best of my knowledge I am not blocking any url links. Soon after I had posted the video about changing the retaining walIs I purchased a cast from scalecast which I am slowly producing individual sections and slowly replacing the Metcalfe retaining wall sections.
Allan at Dragon Junction Mk2 gave you a shoutout and thought I would check your channel out👍 just subscribed and good luck with the layout and channel. Keep safe and well Andy

May I ask where you got the semi detached houses from please, or did you build them? (shown at 4.30 sec)
