Sir, thank you so much for your valuable video, which is so nice and great full you explained each and every topic so well and shown live example of video, truly appreciate your work sir, please dont stop doing this excellent work sir.
End of this video you explained about AMT to Manual. So Please humble request to share few technique practially. This is because when I convert AMT to manual my call sounds more as compare to Drive mode. Please suggest
Sorry didn't understand your question. See you don't need to convert from AMT to Manual mode under normal driving conditions. The sensor understand the speed of the car and accordingly upshift the gear, for example from 3 to 4, or downshift the gear, for example from 2 to 1, based on the speed of your car at that moment. But what if you don't want the sensor to decide this, but YOU want yourself to decide and change the gear according to your requirement. Then you should go to Manual from AMT mode. For example, say you have taken your car to the hills. While coming down from the hill, since the slope is downwards, the speed will keep on increasing. As the speed increase, the car will also automatically upshift the gear for higher speed. To stop this, while the car is in your desired speed, change to Manual mode. The car will stop upshifting the gear automatically and will remain at a constant speed. Hope I am able to make you understand.
@Sreevalsan Kalliyath Don't give too much acceleration. With your hand brake engaged, put your gear on reverse, press the accelerator pedal little bit. You yourself will realize the car is trying to go back. Try it for sometime and you will get it exact as to how much accelerator needs to be given. For each car and make, it is different. Also, it is advisable to keep your wheels straight when you are about to move backwards on a slope. This is because it gives less load to the engine and you do not need to press the pedal more. Try it few times and let me know if you face any difficulty. Will be happy to help again.🙂
Thank you sir for this info... really searching for this, One thing more I would like to know... while driving in manual the power is the same as clutch gear or less??
@@shribisht Great 👍🏼 Be aware that mileage will be low till your second service, specially in case of AMT. It will improve drastically after completing second service.
Very nicely explained Sir.I have one question about AMT.If we release our foot quickly from the brake pedal, will the car jerk and stall like manuals?Do amt cars stall in speed breakers, in off roads and all?Has this ever happened with you?Plz do reply me.
Thank you so much for the appreciation and watching the video. It means a lot to me. Coming to your question, no the car won’t jerk if we remove our foot from it. @@backpackeronwheels sir one last query. In this 96nm torque engine how far (in kms) did you travel non stop or how often do you have to give a break for the engine for your journey from Mumbai to Calcutta.Really appreciate if you could help me with this query.
Sir, both has their respective advantage and disadvantage. AMT initial pickup is less as compared to manual. But it is very comfortable to drive in city traffic. If it's your first car will recommend AMT as the headache of changing gears go away and you don't have to think which gear to put in which speed. Mileage wise there is not much difference between manual and AMT. If you are taking Triber just keep in mind mileage improves only after second service which comes at 10000 kms or 1 year. If you take my advice I will suggest take a test drive of both manual and AMT and see in which you are comfortable with. Don't only go by videos and decide as everyone has their individual choice and preference. Hope I was able to solve your query. If you have any questions feel free to reach out, not only for Triber but any car for that matter. Wish you in advance all the best for your first car and thanks a ton for watching the video 🙏

Very nice explanation sir. Do you have any tips about parking in mall basement? I always afraid that the car can't move forward because i press the accelerator too light or it stop /lose power in the middle of the slope (some basement not only go straight but turn left / right). Thanks before kind sir :)
Thanks for watching and appreciating. Before you do basement parking, my advice will be to drive in straight roads first and also where, there are slopes, so that you get a proper feel of the car movement based on your pressure on the accelerator pedal. Once you get the equation right you won't have any problem in taking your car to any basement parking area.
@@tiaracitra7809 If the slope from the basement is long, then change to manual mode. This is because if you are pressing on the accelerator for long to cover the slope distance, in automatic mode it will automatically change to higher gear. If that happens the car won't be able to pull itself out and then will stop and will downshift. To avoid always when traveling on a slope change to manual mode, you will have better control of your car.
Yes the basement slope is very long and have some turns here 😢 Do the car make some noise if i'm not in the correct gear? Actually i don't understand manual mode, only rely on automatic 😔 So before i enter the slope, i should change to manual and put it on 1st gear? Then i press the accelerator steadily (just enough to move the car up) until i reach the top and change it back to automatic?
Well, whether it is a good option depends on what your other options are. As far as I am concerned, my car just completed 1 year and odometer reading is 8500, and I am fully satisfied with it. Coming to your second question regarding service, again I am very satisfied. This is because Renault maintains a personal check on its dealers. Whenever my car returns from service, I get 2 calls. First one is from the dealer asking about my experience. Second one comes from Renault. Last week I did my second service as it completed a year. Will make a video on ownership experience soon. Actually previously I was using wagon R manual and now purchased triber amt. As in manual we put first gear and drive with break and clutch in going down in basement parking. Similarly while coming out we put first gear Nd drive with brake and clutch. Now I want to know in amt is it good to use M mode for going down and coming our in basement parking.
@@rashmirani5442 No, don’t use “M” mode, for going in and coming out of basement. The half clutch brake funda happens automatically here. When going in, press brake when required. AMT will itself do the job. When coming out press the accelerator in light food constantly through out. If you need to stop in slope and again start use the handbrake as shown in my video. It will easily come out. “M” mode is used only when you require sudden power, for example during overtaking. Also when you are coming down a hill and you want to use engine braking than pressing the brake always. Otherwise “M” mode is not required.
Quite informative, but it is suggested to switch between automated gear and manual gears, only while car is in stationary mode, to avoid damage to automatic transmission.
It is clearly mentioned in Renault app help section that "manual driving mode can be activated at any time when driving by pushing the lever to position (M)". also in other section it is also mentioned that"Manual mode can be deactivated and reactivated at any time with the engine running by moving the lever to position(D) and respectively to (M)." Hope this citation helps.
Yes, sometimes you will find the lag. This is for all AMTs. It can be easily managed. Before I explain how, let me tell you why the lag is happening. AMT cars runs via chip which sense when to change the gear. Now suppose for your last few drives traffic condition was such that the gear change was required after long intervals. The chip noticed this and has programmed itself to change the gear late even when it is not required. In this kind of a circumstance try using the manual mode for sometime to change the gear at a much faster rate. This will reconfigure the chip again and you will see that it is changing gear at a much faster rate than it used to. Hope I was able to explain. Try it and let me know 😊🙏
Thanks a lot sir for your reply. Actually I'm planning to exchange my manual car with renault amt if the lag issue is not a bigger one. I drove manual car for ten years. Will it be worth buying over manual? Thanks in advance.
Few things you need to consider. If your main drive is inside city, then it is definitely a better choice. Very easy to drive and very comfortable. Initially you need to get accustomed a lot. Like why the gear is not changing, pickup should be more etc. This I have also faced when I changed from manual to AMT. You need to give yourself some time to adjust, then it will be just fine. Second thing, please remember, mileage will be less as compared to manual. But nothing major. Third and most important. Don’t go by what people say. It is your money after all. So whichever car you are comfortable with you buy. But as I said earlier, when you are changing from manual to AMT it does require some adjustments. And these adjustments are all mental 😊

“M” mode is used only when you require sudden power, for example during overtaking. Also when you are coming down a hill and you want to use engine braking than pressing the brake always. Otherwise “M” mode is not required.
Ok thank sir. U have clear my confusion
Most welcome

Quite informative, but it is suggested to switch between automated gear and manual gears, only while car is in stationary mode, to avoid damage to automatic transmission.
Where did you get that suggestion from? 😄😄🤣🤣🤣
From Authorised dealer of Renault.
Good. Now tell me if the car is in stationery position, which gear will you apply to move it.
Also please give me the dealer name and the name and phone number of the person who told you this. Would like to speak with him. Thanks 🙏
Thank you sir ❤️
You are most welcome Sir 🙏
Hello sir,
Is there any irritating lag in triber amt during gear shift? If yes, is it manageable?
Me in particular, I am very happy with Triber AMT. Both in city as well as in long drives.
Thank-you. That sounds great
