I'm expecting twins girls in March, yay! I have 5 children, boys, already. I love having babies it is a joy beyond anything I've ever experienced. What are some of the things you look back on now that your twins are older that you miss and just loved about having twin babies? Like, when I look back on my babies I remember waking up with them at night and enjoying my alone time with each baby. The house was quiet I enjoyed everything about that except the waking up part. I loved feeding them, changing them, and cuddling with them. Sometimes I was really tired and tried to finish as fast as I could so I could go back to sleep. I still had that individual time with them. I worry I wont have that special time with my 2 girls.
Hi! This was a great video, and Ive come back to it several times! I was about to purchase the Baby Relax wide glider but decided not to because of you! I appreciate your feedback so much!! Twins on the way!
Fraternal twin boys expected next month! I am most concerned about feeding (one vs two at once - breast feeding, etc) and sleeping (scheduling, handling over night wake-ups, etc) ... possible videos on these topics?
I am NOT trying to scare you, but my feeding and sleeping experience with my twins in the first year was NOT normal. My identical twins for the first 9 months of their life had identical EXTREME colic 🤪😆 (hope it makes you feel better to know that my husband, I and my twins can laugh about it now). I didn’t produce enough milk to feed them both and with the amount of reflux my milk never stayed down. Sleeping also was difficult cause with their reflux and colic they didn’t sleep much.... it was truly a joint effort between my husband and I and we ended up having me watch one at nights in our room and my husband would tend to the other upstairs. It was easier for us to each only have 1 colicky baby keep us up than two. With all that said, we survived and are stronger for it 😄 AND I truly DO NOT know any of my other twin mom friends who had both babies with colic, so I doubt that will happen for you! Our third baby is the easiest ever so if he had a twin it honestly would have been comparatively easy. I guess I say all this because I went into having twins with a full plan and schedule and then I all went out the window cause my babies weren’t built to be on a schedule yet 🤷🏻♀️ each kid is so different. My third baby basically sleep trained himself and has been on a schedule forever. I will definitely look at how I can make videos around this, but it would be off my crazy experience so it won’t be nearly as straight forward as my baby gear videos cause babies are all so different 😊
There is a video on how to use the twingo carrier with only one person and it doesn’t seem unreasonably hard. I still am not sure if I would use this for my girls because I can’t get to the one in the back without completely taking the baby in the front out of the carrier, loosening a bunch of straps and rotating the carrier just to be able to see baby
Let me know when your twinnies are due!! Also, love to hear your thoughts on any other twin related videos you would find helpful or be interested in watching 💕💕💕
We have B/G twins due Jan. 13, 2020, but looks like we will go no later than Dec 23rd due to how my c-section with my first was done! I would love to see a video on how you fit 3 car seats into your car and what kind of car you have! We are car shopping now, because I'm not sure if all 3 will fit in the back of my prius.
First, congrats on your twin pregnancy! I was thinking of doing a car tour soon. I always said I would NEVER be a minivan mom. But here I am in 2019 as a minivan mom. AND I LOVE IT! If you watch my previous video (packing for roadtrip) roughly half through I show my Honda Odyssey and how I fit all 3 carseats rear facing in the middle. Let me know if you have any other questions on cars for 3 carseats. We searched high and low for SUV and ultimately ended up with a minivan. and side note, we used to own a Prius. And I don't think we could have done 3 carseats in it and kept our sanity :/
Hey there. I'm almost a future twin momma. Boy/girl twins coming in November! I have a question on the type of baby monitor you used for your twins. I'd be interested in a single camera that allows us to rotate between both cribs, but was curious if a monitor with two cameras is best? The cribs are on walls across from each other, so hoping the single rotating camera will be able to capture both. Do you have a favorite monitor? Thanks! Love your videos.
Congrats!! The baby monitor I used for my twins was Axvue brand on Amazon. Two cameras, and I loved it for the price. A lot of two camera monitors are CRAZY expensive and this one isn’t too bad. I have a link for it and mention it in my other twin Must haves video that is fully comprehensive. th-cam.com/video/PuKamHvd1Hw/w-d-xo.html It doesn’t link up to your phone or anything like that, so if you want that you’ll have to look into another brand. For me it was a good around the house monitor and it rotates what camera it is showing. The other reason I like it is you can add up to 4 cameras, so I currently have it hooked to 3 for each of my kids 😊

Yea, I'll likely be recovering from c-section when my twins come, so we'll see if we get the bassinet thing
