Hey everyone! When I said I wanted criticism... I did't mean on these sketches! They are doodles! These are quick things! Super fast! No planning! Ahh...
i think i get it now. lol I love your art SOOOOOO much Kasey! I hope one day i can draw like you! Since im only 13, i have a long way to go. If you are reading this right now, I WOULD BE FREAKING OUT!!!! So, just a little comment. Happy drawing! Bye!
OMG I'm so glad you stand your ground with stripes, this is such a trademark that we associate with you! The internet can be a super scary place when sharing your art, but this video is so heartwarming, reassuring and inspiring! We hope as many people see this as possible!
Well in order to receive feedback you need people to see your stuff. Posting online doesn't mean tons of people will instantly react to it. I think that's the most discouraging thing for young artists : putting their work out there and not having any feedback for the first few months. It feels like you're talking to a wall.
Posting on your social media, sure, but if you go to a community where people are there for that exact reason, I think it will help! You have to SEARCH and WORK for help, not just sit there and expect it to come to you. Similar to success.
If social media is the place young artists are looking, dedicating time to a few helps getting people interested. I’ve been told that Twitter is where all the art directors and editors are while followings are build in places like Instagram or TH-cam. Not necessarily only those places but you get the idea.
Just a little story of how posting my art online helped me: I had to do an internship for school and I had no idea where i would like to do it. My friend was liking a picture on my instagram account and her mom walked in. She saw the piece and asked her who drew that. She emailed me if i would like to do my internship at her buisness (she is a kind of graphic designer) and it was the perfect opportunity for me. So I did my internship there and actually designed some stuff for real buissnesses and they used MY work and it was just amazing! she also told me about a school and stuff and now I am really interested in that job. So don't be intimidated by Haters or stuff like that. Just start posting and maybe something like this will happen to you too! It won't destroy your life to post "bad" art or something like that. that internship helped me so much to get an idea of what I want to do with my life. Thanks for reading
When I really got into art when I was around 10 I told my mom to tell me when she thinks something isn't very good. I honestly I don't think I could have a harsher critic than my mother, she likes to pick out the little details that aren't perfect. even nowadays I still will send her pictures of my arts and she'll tell me exactly what she thinks of them lol
This totally engouraged me to start posting my art online! Ik have wanted to before but I've been too scared. Thank you for inspiring me every time kasy!💓
I don't find it too hard but i hate it when i say 'ew' when i draw and then my friends just keep asking if they can see it, if i don't like it I'm not showing it
Tanya Smith something’s things might appear “Ew” to you but to others it might appear “WOW” But of course they still got to respect your privacy and decisions

I have mixed feelings about posting online, on one hand i wanna show people, on the other hand i have zero social skills which gives me zero confidence and ends up in zero motivation with all the anxiety that brings. A vicious cycle that takes a lot of effort to break.
While art is just a hobby for me, I still like to post it online, even though it takes me forever to muster up the courage to. I don't want to finish something I put so much work into that I actually like just to have it sit there in my sketchbook, never to be seen by anyone but me. It really gives my drawings more purpose for me.
I'm scared that people well hate and that I won't get actually feed back that's helps me in prove and that its gonna be meaning full comments filled with negativity that well let me down and make me scared of posting more
That is a totally rational fear! And in the beginning sometimes that’s exactly what will happen! But like I wrote in another comment, followings take time and effort to grow. Some times we get the short end of the stick and the first people who find us are trolls, so make friend with said trolls! Joke with them and get them interested in what you’re passionate about and they’ll start to care too. You’re not gonna win everyone over but you can do your best to make a following out of whats given to you. Then when they care about you, they’ll want to share they’re stories about this cool artist they found. It’ll take a lot of time to make friends and gain a following and mean comments will always be there but that shouldn’t make you feel like you can’t do it. Draw what you love and keep doing it and you’ll get there!
i started posting online last year and it has been great :”) i have so much more motivation to draw and during art block i remind myself that there are even a couple of people who want to see my stuff so i push myself through it all the points in the video are so true tbh 👌
I can confirm everything in this video works. Since Ive started posting my art online its gotten TREMENDOUSLY better than this time last year. Ive even started uploading videos and I never thought Id be at that point where Id want to share my art with the world. Do what she says, Kasey knows what shes talking about
*I don't critique your art because I like your style & I'm sure you hear that a lot* but I do love it when you experiment like your faces in the Giant Sketch book tour because even if they aren't perfect you're leveling up your skills & that inspires me to draw even with my hectic schedule
Oh boy what a way to pump people UP Kasey! XD I am really glad to have started sharing my work online, in particular for the relations I've made. I'm so grateful to the art budds I've got. They inspire me, lift my spirits, and always help me out when I'm stuck with something with my art. And that's something I never had before coming online. I definitely think it's something every artist should at least give a shot because sometimes we THINK we're really closed about our work and don't want anyone to see it when in reality we just want to share it with like-minded people, but we might not have such people around us in rls. ;)
I always wanted to post my art online, when i poster my first drawing on my personal account i was so scared "What will my friends think? What will my classmates think?" I did not make an art account but now will, this video really helped me. Thank you!
Followings are something that grows because you take time and effort to make it grow. Most big followings you see took time to grow and it was when the right person joins and shares that the following gets bigger. Your following isn’t small because no one likes it and that the first thing I think people need to remember. It’s small cause there are thousands if not millions of people with active user accounts and one person with a few followers can be hard to find. It’s not because no one likes your work. We live in a big world. ❤️ we’ll get there!
CrowDraws, the point is multi-form. For some, it's to get their name out there. For others, the point is to make connections. For some others still, the point is to create personal accountability and discipline, because once you get an audience, it's hard to fall off the wagon when people are expecting you to produce. Point being, there are many reasons why one would want to post online, and no, not all of those reasons amount to seeking validation. It can be a learning tool for growth for many. If it's not for you, that's okay, but don't put down others who do it :)
Never said you can't make art without posting it, and I never said no one interacts with it. The original comment said 3 likes was depressing, and I say you don't need to be popular to enjoy posting your art. TBH I think I'm done replying here because you don't seem to be reading what is being said... Sorry.
I don't think there's anything you can do to prevent it. Art theft happens both online and in the real world, not even watermarks stop it. It's not as common as you think, so try not to worry about it.
Yeah, I've been posting for years and to my knowledge, no one has stolen my art yet :) I'm not famous like Kasey so that's probably why but as she said, it's not too common :)
Kasey Golden , although your answer still leaves me nervous to post art, once rewatching your video I realized the benifits outweighs my fear. I would like to thank you for responding to my comment 🙂
My only fear about posting my art online is that my characters may get stolen. Just yesterday I had so submit a messy sketch of my oc so other dude could draw her (it was an art trade),, it doesnt matter what I do, I cant calm my anxiety over it ;;
Thank you for making this I want to make art but one of my fears was hate as I’m worried if I make art with a specific topic, people will give me death threats
This video came out literally just as I decided to start posting my art online, so it makes me feel even more motivated! Thank you for sharing your experience and advice, you are such an inspiration
This motivated me to post art again!! I used to be very anxious that no one would like my art, or just be a huge ass to me. But I think this will help, thank you!
You are so right, that people should be braver and make their art more visible. I decided this for myself just recently and I'm very happy doing that. It's also refreshing, when there are comments of users, who mention critique (in a mannered way). It's always a way to get better. :) Thanks for this video and a reminder, that it's good to be social online.
I've been posting my art on amino for a while, and It has motivated to draw more, also amino is great for art because you can post in a small community
Thank you for posting this!!!! I’ve always had my art accounts on private or i’d never post my art out of fear of someone stealing it. But now i’m posting videos and pictures and everything!!!!!!!
I’ve never show my art to anyone or even online I lack confidence although behind the screen I’m really passionate about art I worked so hard to be good and even though I struggle a lot I would never give up
The thing I love most about you and your art is that you’re not afraid to put private parts on your cartoon-y style. Like most people only do stuff like that for realistic pieces. But what do I know? I just think you’re a cool person and a cool artist. Thanks for inspiring me Kasey!
Damn, I love your art. The only problem I would rly say I have with it is the abnormally large rounded heads I guess since I watch alot of your videos at once it seems like you put them for every character you seem to draw. But maybe that's just apart of your well developed style idk. Love your stuff
This is something I've been meaning to do for so long, but I always make up some excuse or another to not do it. I started my own sketchbook slam for March, and I was thinking of making weekly progress updates to my Instagram. It's just...the sketches so far aren't pretty. I'm already not confident with my skills, and I'm afraid people will think I'm a worse artist than what they originally thought...
@@wowoyoyo524 Hello :) I totally forgot I made this comment. It's humbling to see. I did indeed start an Instagram and Tumblr. Never finished the sketchbook slam, but I at least have a (very small) online presence now.
Yes maam. Your art is very relaxed bold and adorable. You make sure you continue to keep drawing. If someone critics you its only to keep you paying close attention to your own technique and to never be satisfied to stop growing as an artist. You certainly talked me into at least considering posting my art.
Honestly, I think the best thing about having art youtubers to watch is that you can see how much your work's flaws don't really matter to anyone else. Like, I watched you in the 30min challenge video just slap paint all out of the lines and it didn't really look that obvious in the final image. If i hadn't seen you do it, I wouldn't have noticed until like 15-20 mins later when i was scrolling by it for the umpteenth time. It puts things into perspective to see "hey, that's a mistake but it doesn't bother me so much, my mistakes in my art probably don't stick out to others as much as they do to me." I feel like a lot of this community is very laid back and honest about how art is just as much about fun and expression as it is about hard work and making progress and it's been really healing artistically to watch and learn to accept that flaws in art aren't as bad as they seem. Also, I know the feel of being told how awesome your art is when you're looking for actual critique so you can learn more. I love being told my art is pretty, but I also want people who can earnestly point out mistakes so I can learn to fix them. The trouble with having gone to art school and having more knowledge than most of the people around you is that they'll assume your knowledge makes you flawless, which makes improvement very difficult.
Already have the app and i grabbed my phone as soon as i found out you had a amino! This video was lovely and motivating, thanks Kasey for making me happy and confident in my art!
I love posting my art online but I'm having a hard time finding a community. I'm really shy and I'm working hard on talking to people but since I'm not natural with it it can come of as forced? If that makes any sense?
Thanks a ton. I really needed this, especially since I feel like I've considered a career in art a little too late. But it's not too late, my life is just beginning. I'm really glad I found your channel, and I'll join your Amino as well.
I was literally debating whether or not to begin putting my art online when I came across your video, this was so heartening and informative. Keep it up Kasey 💖
Honestly, as someone who prides myself on giving constructive criticism as often as possible, but it can result in someone misunderstanding what I was trying to say and people fighting over whether or not I was attacking the artist or being constructive. The bigger the person's following, the harder it is for not only critiques to reach them, but its harder not to be attacked for doing it. This actually became a problem recently with Sara Tepes, where people both giving constructive and non-constructive criticism on some things she needs to improve upon were being attacked by fans and got clustered together into one group of "haters". I got lumped in with them just because I suggested she work on more variation in faces and practice drawing men. I'd almost feel "safer" being able to PM artists with followings or some other way I can reach them more directly with less fans pushing my words into a big cluster of comments.
So I'm at point where most of my art are is either a study of photo reference or a study of other artist's work. Posting studies of photo refs I feel fine about, but I feel like posting studies of other artist's, even if properly credited, will just get a bunch of "copying" criticism and people will be irritated by it. Not sure what stuff I should post at this point?
Amazing video and such cute drawings. Since I started posting online, of course, it had its bad sites but also the great ones. Its nice to see if some people like your art and really just finding friends and people that like the same as you.
I once had someone give me constructive criticism AND be a jerk al at the same time! I posted a picture, and they messaged me “You really gotta work on feet.” I replied with “Thanks for letting me know! Any tips on how I can improve?” And they replied with “Nevermind, the whole thing sucks.” WOW THANKS.
I watch loyally all the time, and I just am glad I got to see this video even though it's a little older. I'm glad to have some of the scary things complimented with the good. It was really inspiring to get started.
I like your art. Its simple but good. Is every piece perfect? No,but each one has it's own little bit of soul. I feel like you are consistent and balanced which is good, at least for me. I love how creative you get but also that you hold to some themes for long periods of time because it gives me something to look forward to. 💜
Coincidence you posted this like legit 2 days after I started my TH-cam account lol. Iv been a little nervous about starting to post things online but watching this makes me feel a bit better bout it and I hope to start posting my art soon on TH-cam and Deviantart like within the next few days(mostly DA for the moment since still setting up stuff with my new laptop) I'm nervous but also hella excited and ready to put myself out there! Thanks for this vid :D
This helped me a lot. I've been drawing for about 5 years and I stoped posting my art around 6 grade because I was getting older and realizing what would happen when I post. but I'm practicing and drawing my ocs again for fun. I had a grate community and I lost them because I was scared to post. but I'm having more hope with posting now that I've Improved a lot more (:
I used to post a lot on amino and insta but I ended up being more laid back about it because I felt people weren't caring too much about helping me grow. Which I know isn't important, however people don't give me feedback and other art accounts just act kinda strange, which doesn't feel real to me. That being said though, this helps me work on my comic, in which people actually give me feedback. Also, posting art is not limited to drawing and painting, but they can be projects that you got going on, like crafts, sculpting, and comics!
Really, thank you for making this video. I become more motivated and I realize what I did wrong this whole time. Also, I love your work, it's not perfect, but it suits my style ^^
Oh my goodness. I've been searching for a community like this for... ever. I've been joining a lot of discord servers and they all seems to be dead or they do what you say "Its nice, its cute, its pretty.. etc" but I want some critique to improve even though I draw as a hobby. I'm stuck in a place where everything I do isnt to my standards and I need to have a different set of eyes to tell me stuff - I like bouncing ideas off others. I will try this amino thing!!
I actually started posting my art online a long time ago.. when I used circle tool and my art was soooo cringe, but people told me: "Cute!!" "You could improve (Something) keep practicing!!!" I got soo happy about the comments and I started to practice!! I think I improved, if I didn't post that drawings I think I wouldn't be drawing now :D
I post my art online, and it really benefits me. I get praise and constructive criticism and it really helps a lot. I realized I improved my art faster than before when I post online.
I've been posting my art online semi-consistently for the past 3 years, but I'm still too small an Instagram account to get critiques or even comments consistently. It's quite hard getting noticed, especially when art is only a hobby and I can't post as much as I would like to. But by posting it online it holds me accountable and it's helped me to keep my promise to not stop drawing.
This is a very informative and motivational video. I agree with what you said at the end. Even though it is very understandable for new artists channel/ sites to promote their work or brand name through always joining in the latest trend (such as the most popular anime at the moment). I can only imagine it being exhausting if we only did it for views. Maybe it'll take more time to reach more audience, but at least we will be doing arts that we truly like.
Thank for this! I LOVE to draw and want to be an artist but im sooo embarrassed of my drawings. Ive been trying to push myself to post art somewhere but never bothered. After this video imma consider posting art somehow
Amino-FUCC YES. Amino is amazing!!! I have been using it ever since January 2017, and I can say it did help me a lot!! I joined aminos all over and I took advice from better artists from there and DeviantArt. This is how my art has improved SOOOOOOO MUCH in the spam of 12 months! Or even writing and my English lolI also made a lot of friends, and felt less lonely! I mean, now Im on a massive hiatus but still! Thanks for pointing out how cool Amino is! ^^
If only I had the motivation XD I have no problem posting it but I’m just lazy and sometimes I forget I have a schedule to follow. But otherwise I would post art 24/7! Tho school is something else that I can’t just climb around. But I’ve been finding ways to motivate myself and that’s good. Thanks so much for the advice Kasey! And keep on drawing those stripes!!! #Stripes
I love amino!!! Also, I love getting constructive criticism. When people say, “oh your art is perfect how do u so that!?” I say thanks, but I know I’m my head that I can do a lot better, and I just don’t know how. Btw, Love u kasey!
Hey answer me this .whenever i post any of my artwork online i got some silly requests from some people who i barely know or i dont want to know .they request like make a sketch of a girl i want to impress her ..whatttt should we do in that case
Well I would so love to start an art channel but my pc is literally trash and rendering/uploading would probably take around 2 days.. sooo.. youtube is a nono. I tried amino once, got to the top drawings but somehow.. you dont get a personal community through it. They see it, they like it and some may follow you but that's all.. They like your amino. But not you as an artist/person. (MY THOUGHTS) And instagram... i don't know.. It's hard to get recognized on there..
Can I ask you a question? I'm 33 and just began the jorney through visual art. I see lots of artists (most of them actually) started in a very early age. So when i see an artist whos my age, i get insecure because maybe ill never be as skilled as those ones. That's why i clicked on this video. So can you give me some advise for artists who started on their 30s? Love your channel!
I already post my art online, and i am opening commissions, but this really gave me more reason to post it online other than "People not understanding my art because they don't like what i draw..?" I don't know either xD
What would you say to someone who can picture the craziest things with intricate details and specific things but can't desribe them in any way? I can't draw, write, or talk the things out. But I can see it so clearly. My hands and mouth can't (or won't) output what I see. What should I do?
I love art and I want to collab with some artists... I'm too scared to ask because I'm scared they will respond with "No! You're too young!" Sighhhhhs, I wish, I don't even have school/online friends that are artists //cries Good video either way, keep up the prompts too.
(i know so many people ask you but i'm somewhat new, what kind of art apps or downloads to you recommend for people that don"t have devices just for art? also, how do you get more famous? like in my opinion i think my art is good, but i donno how to get popular or how to get people to notice.
also here’s another tip! don’t delete your art account if you feel inactive! holy heck i had an instagram for my art with about 1.5k followers that i had built up. i fell into a slump and deleted the account thinking i didn’t like art anymore. it’s such a big regret to me now! not only about having to rebuild a community and following base, but i lost contact with friends and deleted some drawings that really showed my progress... :/. anyhow my point is to just keep your account inactive because your account and progress is something you may want to come back to!
All I can suggest is you could definitely work on texturing out fits and shading. You could also work on outfits which is right. Same face syndrome as well but you already have mention those. Something else I would suggest is working on skin shading because (in my opinion) it can be super fun to paint it colour skin. Your art is done we'll but you can always improve. I hope this is helpful.
I post my art on Instagram and have gained a small following but I am super passionate about video editing too so I was thinking about posting on TH-cam. I'm super nervous about voice overs though. Any tips?
i got amino kinda recently because i want to be a game designer... im gunna make my first post when my demo is done... its going to be like the game without the story, something playable but not the final product.
(Trying to help not being mean) The fire drawing at 5:15, if you would like some criticism I have some. If you wanted to make the fire more realistic looking, it would work if you put the yellow where you put the red and the red where you put the yellow. because flames normally get darker as the spread out from the source, rather than getting lighter. Hope this helps! :D Love your channel!
Thank you

Hey everyone! When I said I wanted criticism... I did't mean on these sketches! They are doodles! These are quick things! Super fast! No planning! Ahh...
Kasey Golden Ripperino
yeah but when you mention it people are reminded xD i tried to keep it general haha
yet they’re still better than mine
i think i get it now. lol
I love your art SOOOOOO much Kasey! I hope one day i can draw like you! Since im only 13, i have a long way to go. If you are reading this right now, I WOULD BE FREAKING OUT!!!! So, just a little comment. Happy drawing! Bye!
Sorry! 😅 I was legit about to write a criticising comment on your sketches
OMG I'm so glad you stand your ground with stripes, this is such a trademark that we associate with you!
The internet can be a super scary place when sharing your art, but this video is so heartwarming, reassuring and inspiring! We hope as many people see this as possible!
Are you sure I don't need to replace the striped shirt with a wiener pattern...?
Doodle Date Hiii, I totally agree!
WELL
If you're open to *amazing* suggestions like that, let the wieners commence!!
Doodle Date funny enough a Dutch saying "standing on your stripes" means standing your ground

Thanks for reading
What a happy ending, thanks for sharing your story, I'm sure it can help others!
Glad that i can help :)
When I really got into art when I was around 10 I told my mom to tell me when she thinks something isn't very good. Wow that's so like me haha 😂
This totally engouraged me to start posting my art online! Ik have wanted to before but I've been too scared. Thank you for inspiring me every time kasy!💓
There's nothing to be afraid of, I believe in you!
Do you have an instagram, I'll like your posts, unless that's too far. Baby steps, baby steps, :')
Posting art online ; heck yes
showing it to your own family : fucc run

Totally agree with posting on youtube (real motivator for me as well) and meeting you and others on here has been great!
Awwww, Average. Meeting you was great, too!
May I ask,I want to post my art on TH-cam but don’t have a very quiet household or good quality equipment (were basically broke) what do I do?
Come on! the blue stripes and brown hair combo is killer...never give it up. #stripesforevaa

Danat Ghali look at the art of someone you admire then vs now it will show u that everyone has to suck before they can get good at something
Can you make a video about how to make finished pieces, I sketch and doodle a lot but I find it really hard to make a finished piece out of an idea
saaaame I do that too
I do that to
Yes this is such a good idea
i started posting online last year and it has been great :”)
i have so much more motivation to draw and during art block i remind myself that there are even a couple of people who want to see my stuff so i push myself through it
all the points in the video are so true tbh 👌
You sound like Eileen from Regular Show
oh my god youre right!

Kasey thanks I'm really insecure about my art and I hope ameno can help me thanks for telling me and the rest of the viewers about ameno
oh i already post everything i draw,, the problem is that no one gives it attention :’)
That’s a mood.
Oh boy what a way to pump people UP Kasey! XD
I am really glad to have started sharing my work online, in particular for the relations I've made.
Thank you!
I’ve always been the type of person to wait and overthink things. I’m trying really hard to break that habit when it comes to posting my art!
Me:*posts artwork*....*gets 3 likes*....*depressed because no likes my art*
Didn't you hear?! Don't do it for the attention, that's a one-way ticket to burning out!
Because you love making art and sharing it...?
Sorry.
I wanna put my art out online, but I'm scared of people stealing my art. What can I do to prevent this?
I don't think there's anything you can do to prevent it. Art theft happens both online and in the real world, not even watermarks stop it. It's not as common as you think, so try not to worry about it.
Yeah, I've been posting for years and to my knowledge, no one has stolen my art yet :) I'm not famous like Kasey so that's probably why but as she said, it's not too common :)
Kasey Golden , although your answer still leaves me nervous to post art, once rewatching your video I realized the benifits outweighs my fear. I would like to thank you for responding to my comment 🙂
LibbyRoseITM Thanks for responding as well, I really appreciate your advice 😀
If you gain a following, people will probably point it back to you.
My only fear about posting my art online is that my characters may get stolen. Just yesterday I had so submit a messy sketch of my oc so other dude could draw her (it was an art trade),, it doesnt matter what I do, I cant calm my anxiety over it ;;
Thank you for upload this, I was scared of making my Twitter profile public, the place where I post my art, and this made me change my mind.
YAY I GOT A KASEY VIDEO FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!! And oh dang a huge confidence boost too :D
A bad side to posting art is that you get thirsty for views and likes but you dont get any then you start feeling sad and stop drawing
I always feel like I'm not good enough to start posting and I have to improve before starting
And it never stops
Damn, I love your art. The only problem I would rly say I have with it is the abnormally large rounded heads I guess since I watch alot of your videos at once it seems like you put them for every character you seem to draw. But maybe that's just apart of your well developed style idk. Love your stuff
I am downloading the app... I am really excited to try it out :)
Oooooh, have fun!
It's really cool!
This is something I've been meaning to do for so long, but I always make up some excuse or another to not do it. I started my own sketchbook slam for March, and I was thinking of making weekly progress updates to my Instagram. It's just...the sketches so far aren't pretty. I'm already not confident with my skills, and I'm afraid people will think I'm a worse artist than what they originally thought...
hi...so its been 2 years, did you start post?🤩
@@wowoyoyo524 Hello :) I totally forgot I made this comment. It's humbling to see. I did indeed start an Instagram and Tumblr. Never finished the sketchbook slam, but I at least have a (very small) online presence now.
O M G your Canadian?! Yayyyyyy! Also thanks for the tips about posting art online
Ever since I started watching you Kasey I've absolutely fallen in love with water colours and it's the main type colouring I use now
Thank you so much I used to think my art was terrible and I was really self conscious about myself but hearing it from you gives me confidence
Yes maam. Your art is very relaxed bold and adorable. You make sure you continue to keep drawing. If someone critics you its only to keep you paying close attention to your own technique and to never be satisfied to stop growing as an artist. You certainly talked me into at least considering posting my art.
kasey u motivate me a lot.when u drew your pokemon,i learnt your drawing style!!!
Hey, how are you doing now after 2 years? :p
Thanks a ton. I really needed this, especially since I feel like I've considered a career in art a little too late. But it's not too late, my life is just beginning. I'm really glad I found your channel, and I'll join your Amino as well.
You help me so much. Thank you!
Hi kasey I sended you a fan art pic and you loved it.ever since you made me so super happy.i just wanted to say thx and keep making everyone happy
I once had someone give me constructive criticism AND be a jerk al at the same time! I posted a picture, and they messaged me “You really gotta work on feet.” I replied with “Thanks for letting me know! Any tips on how I can improve?”
And they replied with “Nevermind, the whole thing sucks.”
WOW THANKS.
You have a good point (I haven’t even arched the video yet)
I watch loyally all the time, and I just am glad I got to see this video even though it's a little older. I'm glad to have some of the scary things complimented with the good. It was really inspiring to get started.
I like your art. Its simple but good. Is every piece perfect? No,but each one has it's own little bit of soul. I feel like you are consistent and balanced which is good, at least for me. I love how creative you get but also that you hold to some themes for long periods of time because it gives me something to look forward to. 💜
I love your style especially the way you do noses it’s so unique
I'm Fiore from Amino! Thanks so much for including my post in your video Kasey! :D
YES. FINALLY. THE SPONSORSHIP I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR
I actually started posting my art online a long time ago.. when I used circle tool and my art was soooo cringe, but people told me: "Cute!!" "You could improve (Something) keep practicing!!!" I got soo happy about the comments and I started to practice!!
Kasey your videos make me so much more inspired and confident in my art!
#Stripes
Any tips on how to create a name for social media places for like something you'll do for a career. (Does this make sense? I'm dead tired.)
I love amino!!! Also, I love getting constructive criticism. When people say, “oh your art is perfect how do u so that!?” I say thanks, but I know I’m my head that I can do a lot better, and I just don’t know how. Btw, Love u kasey!
The first time I posted art online was for your contest and it got a good amount of likes
I really should post more art so I can get people's opinions and improve more.
Hey answer me this
.whenever i post any of my artwork online i got some silly requests from some people who i barely know or i dont want to know .they request like make a sketch of a girl i want to impress her ..whatttt should we do in that case
I started posting art online 2 years ago, although my followers are extremely low, I'm still glad to post because I met new friends 😊
Congrats Kasey our amino is thriving!! (:0 my werewolf boi was shown!)
It's hard to get recognized on there..
i looOOOVVE your art style!!!! you can do so much stuff with it! like the mermaid prompt video, the shark with legs!! amazing!!! I LOVE it!!
-me
Can I ask you a question? I'm 33 and just began the jorney through visual art. I see lots of artists (most of them actually) started in a very early age. So when i see an artist whos my age, i get insecure because maybe ill never be as skilled as those ones. That's why i clicked on this video. So can you give me some advise for artists who started on their 30s? Love your channel!
I love drawing and I'm debating on if I should start a TH-cam channel or not. This video really helped me decide what to do.
I already post my art online, and i am opening commissions, but this really gave me more reason to post it online other than "People not understanding my art because they don't like what i draw..?"
I don't know either xD
What would you say to someone who can picture the craziest things with intricate details and specific things but can't desribe them in any way? I can't draw, write, or talk the things out. But I can see it so clearly. My hands and mouth can't (or won't) output what I see. What should I do?
I love art and I want to collab with some artists... I'm too scared to ask because I'm scared they will respond with "No! You're too young!" Sighhhhhs, I wish, I don't even have school/online friends that are artists //cries
Good video either way, keep up the prompts too.
Thanks I'll be Sure to Use it for my New Animations.
Thanks, I really wanted to post my art but I wasn’t sure where or how. This video really helped me 😃
All I can suggest is you could definitely work on texturing out fits and shading.
Thanks for this Kasey! really nice message
