being from Utah I really am happy lagoon stepped up its game with this roller-coaster.

Love this new ride so much! Lagoon has always been a great amusement park that gets overlooked by many, but I think that's changing with Cannibal. Cannibal is the type of ride you'd expect to see in one of the bigger more well known parks and it holds its own against all those other coasters!
I've been eyeing this thing for months, I'm so glad there's finally video. Great design, I'd travel all the way to Utah for this.
Just a warning, I used to work at lagoon and this ride gets stuck at least 3 -4 times a day.
3/10 no human on human eating action

Elias Mertens I haven't heard any plans for decorating the tower, but I think it's a great idea! I know Top Eliminator is being redone as its own Cannibal gift shop and will be open by next season and feature cannibal themed merch and a new food stand!
Cool! Sounds cool, it's nice to see a "small" park like Lagoon really take pride in their new ride and theme some other attractions like stores and food stands to their new ride. : ) And it still amazes me that this.... giant BEAST of a coaster was built completely in house.
I seriously love this ride! Rode it twice in one day and I'm going again on Friday to ride it again! It's just that damn awesome!

When I was in 6th grade, at my school we would go to lagoon if we made the acquirements to go, and I always went on this ride, my friends would always be like, "HOW!?!?" 😂
Got my first ride in last week. Thing is so smooth. I love the elevator lift it's pretty cool because it kind of goes up at an angle (that's tough to see in the video.) That drop took my breath away. Was pumped for a solid day after riding it.

Jonny B It's hilarious that you've brought this comment from the past to the present. I've actually been on over thirty different coasters since then. I'm pretty sure i wrote this when I was still yet to ride on my first real coaster lol.
i live in utah and i go to lagoon all the time and for once in the opining of this ride the line was so short i went about times which amazes me due to the fact its so popular xD
The line for that coaster is insane, my friend and I just recently went and are going again tomorrow. The line bro it took us 2 and a half hours to get on.
What was the time for the other coasters? I might go on Saturday but I’ve heard it’s been crazy packed compared to normal

I was working there when they built and opened that. People kept asking when is it going to open? I went on that before they opened it to the public. Employees got to ride it first. I guess they needed test dummies.

I'm guessing that theme for this ride is a lost temple. Cannnibal looks like the most intense coaster at the park. It's too bad the ride has Lap Bar, I like Over The Shoulder Restraints. Hope to take a trip to out to Utah and visit Lagoon Theme Park sometime in the future.

This ride is amazing. 100% worth the 30-40 minute line.

+ObsidianBro12 SFM Lagoon is located in Salt Lake City (or SLC, but that's just a coaster pun), and the coaster was manufactured by Lagoon or some local company.
It was made by Intamin. You can always tell by the track. Usually, if it has a triangle, square or one layer track with the track pattern | | | or |\/|/\|l, then it's probably Intamin.

I think it's pretty reliable. The Roller Coaster DataBase doesn't even give a manufacturer, which usually means it was made in-house, like with Kings Island's Beast.
earleroy It's not Intamin. It's Intermountain Lift. The track is inspired by Eurofighter track, but that's it. This coaster is 100% In house Designed.

Steven Davis It's not 4k. It's 60fps. But the original footage was shot 2.7k and in Chrome it supports 1440p60.
It is a lot scarier in real life. I know that because ive been on it.
