Something about LEGO winter village sets is so majestic and glorious. It really just evokes so much christmas-ness. Fascinating history lesson, I really liked learning more about that stuff. Though I hate them switching up the box art. It takes away a lot of the charm in my opnion

I have the Train powered but can't get it to correctly run in my city for some reason so it just sits displayed with my winter village train station I got basically brand new I got it factory sealed bags just no box for either set and the train was only missing the figs and a few parts for the platform but with having the large station I was still very happy. I also still have to decide build or keep the 2019 gingerbread house set sealed. Can't make up my mind. Just pulled the trigger on the 90th anniversary castle which will be my birthday set for this year.
I would build the ginger bread house. It's a cute set. I just wish I had bought more than 1 of them. I plan to motorize my train as well if I find ant tricks I'll post them.
I started colelcring the series since this year and want to make them full buildings aswell next year (budget for this year is empty now haha). So Im really looking forward to how you will do that!
@@BevinsBricksWorld I’m sure the price of another set would be crazy expensive now! I bought the light kit, for this set and the Elf Clubhouse, from Brick Loot. It looks cool on my fireplace mantle. The perfect size.
Most retired sets are crazy yes. I'm planning to modify all mine hopefully just using the one set. If I can I may sell my doubles off as the prices now to sell are great.
So sad we haven’t gotten a designated designed LEGO post office 🏤 since 2011. I’m sorry but the winter village train is one of the most hated LEGO trains of all time

They are simple but look great, I agree the boxes looked better when they were still blue.

Thanks, from my initial glance on them they should all be fairly easy to convert. As there are only a couple sets with rare parts.
