I have the XBOX Series X, my boyfriend bought his XBOX Series S to my house and we could honestly not see any difference in load times or the display, on my Samsung NEO QLED 4K 65"

I've had the 512GB version for a year, bought it back in 2022. I'll never forget the day I came home with it, one of the best days ever.
Sadly, had to sell it about 4 months ago so my brother and I could afford the house's rent.

If you want proof that Jesus and the Bible are true look a documentary called “Ron Wyatt discoveries 2022” on TH-cam and a TH-cam channel called Expedition Bible. I personally own a PS5 since release and I’m still pretty happy with it. But back in the days, when I still had my Xbox 360, i absolutely loved it and wasn’t really a fan of the PS3 even with many friends being PS-heads. Long story short: I’d love to log into my old Xbox account and relive the times I’ve had with my brother playing 10 year old games. Especially Black ops 2, which isn’t really possible with PlayStation nowadays.

I have a PS5 too but am really glad I also got a Series S for Starfield. Since getting it, I've gotten other Bethesda games I can't play on PS5 like Fallout 3, New Vegas, as well as games I have on PS5 like Fallout 4 and Skyrim, but in 60 fps on the Series S. Also a lot of 360 games that I can't get on PS5. Love having both.

She doesn't have a lot of room and the size of the Series S is perfect on top of the fact that the Series S is such a capable console despite the compact form factor and she'd enjoy owning a current gen gaming console. Absolutely versus playing Xbox One, 360 and OG. It FAST, inexpensive, compact, and efficient. Excellent for casuals without physical media.
Not only the Series S is a game pass machine but also a BC digital machine. I bought one and I loved it.
Yes the Series X can be had for $350 or 400 but that deal is no where to be found at the time of this comment. Heck, the Series S can be had for $200 or less so YMMV.

I'd argue an Xbox One S or Xbox One X would be better for backwards compatible gaming since those have a disc drive (provided you don't get the One S without a disc drive obviously)
You could then buy a bunch of games used for cheap rather than having to pay full price for the digital version or having to rely on the games you want to play being on gamepass

I say it’s worth it! I own the series X and recently bought a 1tb series S and I love it so far. I got really lucky, I paid $380 CAD for the X, and 200$ CAD for the series S. both were only used a few months before I bought them.
I bought the series s 1tb because of it’s size. Can’t really fit the series x anywhere.
To everyone just a little info tip. some of the few pros this has over the ps5. Is that it has microsoft edge browser. Which lets you play games via cloud streaming services like geforce now and boosteroid. games that normally arent on xbox natively AAA supported. If i knew that at that time before i ended up returning it. I would have keeped it. If i knew at that time some 3 years ago about cloud gaming. But right now atm i am waiting for christmas when there are price drops

No point in getting an Xbox. Get anything else really. Take it from someone who has been an xbox consumer since OG. Microsoft has given up on the console itself. They can try and push the xbox brand on services or whatever but the xbox itself is not being pushed as a needed purchase. Its a gimped system.

Loved the new look of the console and the larger storage is a must. I still remeber the first time i played the xbox 1 at my friends house and have always wanted a xbox since then. Still sad that there would not be a new xbox for this generation like the ps5 pro (hopefully). Looking forward to videos like this.

I was gonna buy a ps5 until i recently saw vids on how the Xbox Series S 1tb is a cheaper option that doesnt compromise on the graphics compared to the ps5...Loved how microsoft has been making budget options for gaming!!

I play my Xbox on a 1440p gaming monitor, which is of course smaller than most televisions. It was fairly inexpensive and I highly recommend playing this way. The difference between 4k and 1440p is negligible on a smaller screen so going with the Series S is a no brainer.

I have the white one and I love it. I grabbed it at launch, picked up a 1TB Seagate SSD, and I had an extra 1TB Seagate HDD laying around that I hooked up for non X/S games. Now I have a nearly 2.5TB Series S which is decent for the small investment.
Hey, I just bought an Xbox series S carbon back edition and game pass a few days ago. I have a stable 100mbps wireless internet connection to download my games.
There is a slight problem I have been facing, the game starts downloading at a great speed but kinda midway through the installation the internet speed just goes away and it takes ages to complete the installation. When I go into network settings to check the speed it shows around 100 Mbps but it's not the speed my game is downloading at. I tried to plug the ethernet cable as well but the same thing happened. Now I can find out what's wrong, my console or my wifi. Is it just me or does it happen to everyone
I think maybe thats when it downloads the larger files at the end or halfway btw i think it happens to most of us😂😂

I currently have the Xbox 1 s, and it's starting to not work. The other day, I was trying to pair my controller to the Xbox, and the pair button on the Xbox doesn't work anymore. And the other day I was talking with my little brother and we thought that we should start to save up for a new Xbox series s, since we would like to upgrade from the the we already have.
Grabbed up a used 1tb model for 200. I'm pretty pleased with it and I'm impressed for what it offers for it's size/price. It will hold me over while I wait for another Series X. It's also good to use for the bedroom, which is where I mainly use it.

I have the original white series S. its an emulation BEAST. Only reason i use it. I have everything from OG NES to XBOX 360 on it.
Absolutely! So many games on Xbox One get a great boost from the system. There's only a few Triple-A graphically intense games where it's downscaled for Series S. The price to poweer ration is actually insane. People know what they're buying hopefully. It's for people who don't care about the best performance for the newest games.

I have the carbon s and use a keyboard and mouse to mostly play fortnite and cod. It runs well with no noticeable input delay. I cant afford a PC so thats the main reason I did it and im really happy with it

OG XBOX, XBOX 360 + HD DVD external drive w/HD DVDs, XBOX One, XBOX One X, & PS5. I will be adding the One S to cover my "future proofing" XBOX exclusive requirements in digital format. I'm a "core" gamer, so utilizing the disc tray on my One X to play backwards compatible games from my library is the most important aspect. PS5 for current AAA titles and Sony exclusives.

I would say if on a nice discount the s and the black 1tb s are worth it but at full price no because of how often the series x is on sale for 450 or even 400. To drop 300 or 350 on an S when the x is only 50-100 bucks more expensive doesn't make much sense. Now if u have a space issue or want an s for portability that's another story.

I got a Xbox series s because I couldn't find an X back in the day and I was planning on getting the X eventually but I see no need to. I love my series S and other then the small amount of storage it has I have had no issues with it. It's a great console, it is amazing how small and affordable it is. I couldn't recommend it more to anyone who doesn't have the new consoles.
Subbed up! I've been researching a bit and I'm looking for a budget gaming setup and I think the xbox series s is the perfect choice, but, I'm too poor for it , hence why i was looking for a budget setup so the series s would be a big help for me and my brothers.
A few points:
- Storage expansion is not more difficult than on PS5, the opposite is true. It's more expensive but easier, plug & play.
- Games on the Series S can take quite a bit less space than on the Series X. This 1TB version allows you to install more games than the Series X actually.
- You don't need to play original or 360 games to play games that take little space, there are plenty of current games that take very little space such as indie games, 2D games that aren't indie, and even a bit older AAA games. I can easily have 6+ games installed on my Series S 512GB
- One positive about the controller battery addon is that they last much longer than on the PS5
- One cool thing about this machine is how incredibly quiet it is.
- Quick Resume is a fantastic feature, very important for when you have family and need to turn it off immediately or change games or let another family member play another game. It's awesome.

I find it to be a great sidekick to my pc, considering my friends mostly play on xbox. Ill play most of my games on my pc and play non-crossplay games and older 360 games on the xbox. Not to mention game pass ultimate works across both platforms

I had a series s. Sold it and bought a series x, and regret it, honestly. The series x is way better but I don’t use a 4k tv, have no discs, and one of the only games I want to play is Jedi survivor, which is way too big of a game on series x for me to download thanks to my poor internet. The game is basically three times smaller on series s. Plus, all the other games I’d play would run the exact same on series s despite it being weaker.
