I just LOVE your recipes! They are well designed, with clear explanations and fast forwarding just where they need to, and showing clear details when that is helpful. I grew up in a town with about 70% Mexican families and have always loved eating Mexican foods. In addition to cumin I'd suggest adding also a pinch of cinnamon and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of chili powder to the beans. I always keep the water from the can because I've heard there is a lot of nutrition in that water! I cook only with cast iron rather than non-stick surfaces. Mango, black beans, tomatoes, onions, limes are all delicious alone and together. YUM!. I also use some chives fresh from my garden instead of regular onions (This gives a milder onion like taste!)
ah thanks so much for the compliment, Melissa!! Your additions sound excellent! Actually, my girlfriend doesnt fancy cumin that much, I'll try your suggestions instead of cumin next time. Should be good!! :-)
I made this today without the mango tho ... Also I added corn cuz i luv it . my tacos had mexican rice in it ....I added the jalapeños in vinegar and i made a mess on the plate ") amazing thanks. It took less than 40 mins
Got distracted by ur hands, sorry! 😻 That mango adding looks great for enhancing flavour 👌🏽Just wondering if red or white onion would suit best for the salsa 🤔 Danke for sharing! 🧡
I'd suggest a vegan yogurt alternative. Many soy yogurts are suitable for that. Some supermarkets even have soy sour cream. There are many more alternatives out there now. Oatly released an oat based sour cream as far as I remember

@@hurrythefoodup ...i love flour tortilla tacos...BUT...I fry em in vegetable oil so theyre just a bit crispy. Its kinda greasy but the flavors so delicious. Also i fry small white corn tortillas into tacos or tostadas. Id like to try your taco filling though..with my kinda shells..i think it would be a perfect yummy match. 👍

Really nice but mexicans we use corn tortillas, soft,no parsley.
They use cilantro.

Looks amazing but that’s parsley and not cilantro
❤
All looks yasty except for that tortilla. It looks dry and way too big but i mostly like your mango salsa recipe.
Thanks :). The tortilla is more like a taco so it's nice a crunchy. By all means make it a bit smaller!

yeess, frying them deffo ads to the flavour! Really sounds like a yummy match, Jen! :D
Tacos are not hard! The tortilla should be soft, and goddam it, no sour cream! Have you ever eaten a taco? This is not authentic at all
Those look like kidney beans.
Maybe you caught me there.
