    This is absolutely amazing, thanks so much for this!
    I've been getting myself hopelessly muddled trying to figure out the dominant hand of people on youtube and which part of the sign should be dominant. Thanks so much for such a clear explanation. Also the "your perspective" bit is amazingly helpful - that's another thing that had been stumping me.

  • @thingscarlaloves

    It's been four years so you a) might not see this and b) if you do, you might already know this, but as this video is super helpful, I am hoping my tip will also be slightly helpful: While I think your hands look fine, if you are worried, put some light moisturising cream on your hands (and only hands) before putting the fake tan on. The cream stops the tan seeping into any of the cracks/dryness on your hands/fingers (especially in the webbing area). Thank you so much for such a helpful video.

  • @pinewatersit
    @pinewatersit ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Thanks for making this! I was struggling to learn watching other resources. Even though I'm left handed your video was the easiest to learn from! It's the only one I've found with the signs from your own POV and it made all the difference. You're really good at explaining and I appreciated how you kept describing the position of the dominant hand/fingers.

    Did you continue learning Auslan? There are some deaf people at my work who sign, so I'm just learning a little bit here and there.

    Im just learning for 1st time, i noticed in the small window you showed "O" and "U" as the same... Thanks for sharing though, enjoyed it ! p.s ( Just had another look, might be just the way you showed it , my mistake )

      Yeah I did sign them differently but in the small window you can't see one of my fingers haha sorry about that. The 'O' you point towards your ring finger, and for 'U' towards your pinky. Enjoy learning Auslan! ☺️
