- In this video we are going to make upgraded Camera Car with Pan Tilt Control.
Using this Pan Tilt Assembly we can rotate the camera horizontally and vertically from 0 to 180 degree.
We will capture images using esp32 camera and send these images to our mobile phone using websocket through wi-fi connection.
We will control car using our own mobile app.
We have resolved some of the issues related to esp32cam with servos.
I have explained in details each step along with code.

It's more for educational purposes and also it's generally for those who want to understand the mechanism and working in order to improve or create newer ideas.
U are free to look for convenience and buy a ready made one but they build it to make us understand it's working(for those who need to know it).
@@aritrabaidya9029 it is relatively cheaper, even though looks not as cool as the rc cars with frame, but in terms of price it's a little difference cheaper, but still kind of expensive since you gotta have esp too

Its a good project with great explanation..i have successfully implemented the project...some of the points that have to be kept in mind for Beginners are...
1) power up the ESP 32 cam with the help of buck...the output of l298n may not be sufficient..hence the ssid may not be visible in WiFi list
2) please turn off the mobile data and then search for the ip address
3) make sure the motor speed is at minimum position and then test the car...

Bro I connected all pins correctly it is showing inn network and all are working but the car is not moving , please give me a solution for this bro.
LM2596 buck converter will work for this...if you are correct with the connection and power supply and all... atleast you will hear a feeble sound when you trigger with the mobile app
If so set the motor speed to mid level in your application

2 - The motors don’t work when I connected enA and enB to IO2. The motors only work when I connected to enA and enB to 5v. The IO2 output always is at 1.2v. Do you know why?

Yes you can add that . May be create html element as text and send this value from esp32 using exiting websocket connection. Check the code for more reference .

I have explained the code in video as far as can. It’s very simple and you can understand by going through code step by step . It’s link is in the description of the video .
Video is nothing but images displayed rapidly at regular interval called frames per seconds . You send images from camera to mobile app at regular interval and it’s displayed like a video 👍🏻hope it answers your questions . All the best

You need to use rechargeable battery from 7-12v and then step down the voltage to 5v using voltage converter. Basically you need to provide 5v supply to this project. You can also provide 5v supply directly if you have . 👍🏻👏🏻
Hello weird question will servos work without UBEC or buck converter but I will connect with normal jumper wires?
UBEC or buck converter is used to step down the voltage to 5 v so that it can be provided to servos with good current capacity . This UBEC can provide upto 5 a . So you should use it . Else you need to provide other 5v power supply which can provide more than 2-3 A current . 👍🏻👏🏻

i done the same connection and i short 5v with uno ,esp32 cam and motor driver so motor driver should not give 5v back emf but in your case its giving back emf of 5v due to this esp32 cam get damage easily i think we should give separate 5v supply to esp 32 cam?
L298N driver has its own 5v regulator . And i believe it handles back EMF very well. I did not face such power issue with this project. You can try giving separate 5v to esp32 module.

It does not have to be same as your own personal network . This project creates its own WiFi network with ssid and password provided by you . So you can use any ssid password you would like 👍🏻 hope this clarifies .

i'm using arduino ide 2.3.2. pan and tilt servo don't works. i tested servos with an arduino uno, the are ok. I'm uploading with a FTDI232. i selected AI Thinker ESP32-CAM. Wich board i have to choose ?

Are there any other alternatives for the UBEC/Buck Converter and 7v-12v DC Battery?
For servo you need to have 5v supply with enough current capacity . For 2 servos you need 1.5 A current with 5v . If you have any 5v supply with this current capacity then you can use that . However I will suggest to use the same setup which I have used in project 👍🏻

Jumper wires and UBEC/buck converter are totally different components. We need UBEC for converting higher voltage to 5v . Jumper wire is just a wire .

No. This car needs 7-12 v . So I don’t think power bank can provide that voltage . If your power bank provides 7-12v then you can use that in place of battery . Connections will remain same 👍🏻👏🏻

Kind of . It’s actually foam board piece . You can use anything to fix camera there .

You have to use Arduino uno just to upload the code. Once code is uploaded there is no need to Arduino Uno . All connections will be wit esp32 cam module. Please check the video for more details.
I want to use relay model in that car for operate 12 volt water pump so what changes required in that program.
You can easily add the relay in this project. I can suggest you with these points. 1. Check and Use the IO pins which is not used. 2. Add a button on the mobile App to control it. You can copy paste the button code. I can not help on full code and diagram as it needs proper complete testing and work. Wish you all the best 👍
Why should we use l298n motor driver for this project?Can we use l293d motor driver board also for this project?how is l298n better than l293d motor driver board?
L298N driver is very simple to use in such car projects. I mostly use this module .However you can use L293D as well but you need to make sure how it’s pins will be connected to esp32 module. It seems L293D shield is compatible with Arduino Uno easily . I have not used this L293D ever so can not help on it. You can try L293D and I wish All the best for your project 👍🏻
Hi! I have a question: How do you solved the issue of the timer? I'm doing a project where I have to control 2 servos, any suggestions? Or an example to control the 2 servos?
I have used different timer and channel for camera . You can check that in setupCamera function . As far as controlling 2 servos are concerned, this project controls 2 servos already. Or do you want additional 2 servos so total 4 servos ?

I want to seperate enA and enB pins which you connected to io2 port. The io4 port is currently unused. Because when ena and enb pins are connected to io2, only one side works. When Ena disconnected (right side works) when Enb disconnected (left side works) but not together
It’s not like that . Please check the video and connections . It rotates both sides motors in reverse and forward directions👍🏻👏🏻

Yes you can use that battery . There is no positive negative for motor . If you switch the wires then direction of rotation will change . 👍🏻👏🏻
