I love that your patterns usually include most if not all pattern pieces even if they are just rectangles. This really helps me out. When I cut by measurements, I often cut the rectangles incorrectly, usually off by an inch. Just wanted you to know it is appreciated.
I made this bag about 7 months ago and it has sat on my sewing machine table unfinished. I needed to build up the confidence to do the strap anchors and today I had that confidence and "I did it". This is a fabulous pattern. Thank you

This is an amazing pattern. The video tutorial is amazing. My only complaint, the pattern pieces did not match the height and width of the measurements on the front. I did check the one inch boxes on each piece but when cutting out from the actual pattern piece, it was smaller than listed measurements. It caused my bag to be smaller than it should have been. I did not realize this error until I was making the interior slip pocket and it said to measure down 5 inches. There was no way to do that.
I’m sorry to hear that. It does sound like it was a printing issue though. We’ve since changed our practice to use a 2” box on our most recent patterns because it’s really difficult to tell the 1” box is off if for example your printer forced printed at 96%. Over the course of a large pattern piece such as this one, it ends up being quite a bit off but it’s very hard to tell with only 1”😞
Im in the middle of making this and I’m using vinyl for the outside front and back. I’m wondering if I should do the front sideways zipper opening on the leftside the same as you did for the quilt cotton? Can someone let me know. TIA!
Depending on the thickness of the vinyl, I typically just cut a ½” window and leave the edges raw for my vinyl and leather versions since they don’t fray. No *need* fold them to the back technically.
I had to buy this pattern. It literally has my name on it!! And it is spelled like mine! Plus the bag is exactly what I was looking. Question: where do you it buy your fabric? Specifically the rainbow watercolor fabric used in the instructions for the pattern? It’s stunning!!
Arghhhhhh!!! I just made the bag and closed it up and realized I forgot to sew the straps to the base. And I cut off the bulk seam allowance so I can’t even rip it out and go back. I’m sick!

Is there an update or version 2 for this pattern? I did notice the SVG files has a 2nd version but not the downloaded one.
Any updates we’ve done have been to add files like SVGs or projector and AO files. None of the written portion has been changed in any way.

Oh man, I’m so sorry. Take a breather. Walk away for a day and come back later and seam rip and add it. It’s fixable!
