Beautiful materials for your bag- I’ve purchased the pattern and look forward to making it.. Dorothy may not have been too impressed with it, but I was ! 😂
I was so excited for this bag that I purchased the pattern before I put the coffee on😂 Your bag looks amazing! I'm loving the piping😍 As always thank you for sharing
Hahha before you put coffee on ....gotcha ..... I love bags abd SEWING them is even more fun .... if it better than coffee mean you are cured from coffee addiction but passionate about sewing hahah
Am I watching this while working on a totally different bag? Yes. Yes, I am. Can’t wait to make it! Yours is GORGEOUS 😍 and can we talk about the piping?! 💥
Hi Lauren…love your bag and piping! Thank you so much for the tutorial! What size cording is in the piping and how wide is it overall? Do you have any suggestions on how wide to cut a vinyl strip to make piping that will work with a 1/2” seam allowance? Also, did you make your straps 37” or 40”. Many thanks!
Hello Lauren! I am wondering what you think about the straps… when used as a backpack, do they stay well across the shoulders hands free or do you feel that you must hold them with your thumbs? Should they be made adjustable somehow? Also, you did not make yours with different fabrics on each side as Lind’s original shows, was there are reason for that? It is so hard to tell from looking and not wearing it yourself, and I can’t spend money on a design that isn’t practical. I truly love your videos, i learn so much. Thanks for helping us all ❤️
I can’t say I noticed that for sure! I wanted the same fabric on both sides. I do feel the straps could be made adjustable on the sides of the bag but I worry they would potentially interfere with the D-rings
I’m not getting the answer I’ve been searching for. Do you have a suggestion on which specific woven interfacing would work best for an all cotton woven krystal?
The rose gold with that fabric is 😍😍😍
Questions???? Please I’m eating here!! Lol. Adorable.
Nice stitchout, Lauren.

I loved making this bag this past weekend. I included adjustable straps and they make it perfect!
I love having more than 1 way to do things! ( Eg, zipper tabs)
Would love to see a combo of this and the Stephie!

This was probably a 5/8” piping! Very thick. I would cut piping to 1” for a 1/2” S/A
I don’t recall the strap length. I’m thinking 40” sounds right
Lovely
Did you interface both halves of the strap connectors with the Decovil, or just one?
Hi Lauren! Where, oh where are you finding these great fabrics? Obviously quilt shops and Joann Fabric…just ain’t doing it
Where did you get the zipper pull holder? Love it!
I’m designing one that’s even better actually 😍
@@LaurenMormino oh I am excited and patiently waiting for that one!

Maybe 2 layers of a woven interfacing for the exterior?
Hi Lauren can I ask where you purchased your plate with seam allowance marks on it. I have the Juki 1181 and need that plate too. Thx.
Steve @ sewing gold!
Was that bag named after me with a “K” 😂 JK 😅...very cute! And practical too 😊
Hi what did you interface your main exteriors with? Did you use fusible fleece?
Since I used an upholstery fabric I only interfaced with a single layer of woven interfacing!
Where did u get your sewing machine pls
I purchased mine from Amazon many years ago
what sewing machine is that
It’s a Juki 1181N
Lauren what is puffy paint
It’s fabric paint they sell at Joann’s, michaels, etc
That's what she said. 😆
The camera is way to close can't see much
