@@pixelkiez thanks mate. How about photometry and focus zone? Because it is fantastic how every shot was perfectly focused, since it is well known for slow AF.
@@sarnenduchatterjee6339 Oh yes, sorry, I didn't remember. It's a universal lens hood from "Cellonic". I still had it from my X-E4 and the original Fuji XF 27mm and it also fit this lens.
Just picked up this exact setup! Do you crop a lot of these final shots later? does the lower Megapixel count compared to modern cameras limit how much you can crop and reframe (and zoom in in post)? Great vid! (i am now realizing that your chest cam wide angle is making it look like you are further away from things then you are)
Yes, the wide angle is a bit deceptive. Some images are cropped, but not many. There are still enough megapixels left for social media when you crop, that's not a problem at all. Have fun with the setup.
Thank you. It always depends on which country you are photographing in. In England and USA it is not a problem at all. In general, it is not a problem to photograph people. Publishing can be a problem. I haven't had any trouble so far. And it can also be classified as art.
Damit macht man nie etwas falsch.
I had the X-E1, but sold it for a better one, an X-E2…. Quicker, Less Shutter & Viewfinder Lag, Quicker All Around, More Accurate Focusing, Better Focusing Aids, & the Trans2 sensor is just as good as Trans1 in my opinion, & many others ✅
And sometimes they go farther than I care to follow, as in this case. I’m an old school shooter who doesn’t give a hoot about video or action photography, which places most of the “advances” of more modern versions out of my care range. I also prefer the first 2 sensors & the body style & operations (I don’t use touch screen). All that being the case, the X-E2 (& the X-T1, which I also own), is the Sweet Spot for me. Extra bonus is the fact that my Mint condition bodies cost me less than $500 each👌 …. the last bodies made in Japan as well, an aesthetic pleasantry, if nothing else, engraved into the bodies 😊
@@raymeedc Then of course that's understandable. You're simply buying comfort with newer models. And if you don't need all of these things, it's a good opportunity to take photos with the old treasures, which look wonderful.
I'm watching videos about the lens right now and you can be sure that some guy always has to give his unsolicited opinion on how bad the photographer is, just to somehow indirectly say that of course he's better 😅
Another rainy Tuesday, another video 🥳🥳🥳 thanks for the upload, I’m enjoying it so much 😎
I look forward to your comment every tuesday. Thank you. 🙌
@@pixelkiez haha wooo 🥳 thanks 🙏🏻
😢 Can you use electronic aperture with this lens? I switched to A mode but couldn't adjust the aperture on the camera body.
Yes, you also set the lens to A?
Schöne Detail Bilder dabei! Entspanntes Video, mit dem Aschenbecher war ne coole Idee! 🤘
Danke dir 👍
Nice photos and the lens is better than expected.
Absolutely, I was very surprised too.
@ I actually have one coming soon. Going to use it on my XT1.
@@gillyb44 I think you will have a lot of fun with it.
In the images you posted, did you correct the vignetting/distortion in post-production?
Yes, I did that later in Lightroom.
Yeah buddy!! 🕊️
Hey @pixelkiez I wonder if the fujifilm X S10 will bring street photography?
Absolutely, yes.
Every camera will
Still one of the best cameras in my opinion. Especially with the new 23mm f1.4 I still cannot believe the resolution
Oh yes, I can only agree with that.
hei, what setting of camera did you have?
Hey, AF-S and Kodachrome 1 Filmsimulation from Fuji X Weekly
@@pixelkiez thanks mate. How about photometry and focus zone? Because it is fantastic how every shot was perfectly focused, since it is well known for slow AF.
@@uboyelig_ulv I have choose Multi in the metering mode. Maybe it's the new lens that works so well with the X-E1's autofocus.
@@pixelkiez thanks a lot for quick response mate! I've just ordered X-E2 so I'm really curious how it will work😁
@@uboyelig_ulv Oh nice, that's the only one I haven't tested yet, but that can only be a good thing.
Nice video! I'm using the same setup. So satisfying to use a camera that's 12 (!) years old and have such results...
Thanks. Absolutely. In theory you wouldn't need anything else.
Nice shots !
What’s the lens hood ?
Thank you, i dont have a lens hood.
@@pixelkiez interesting. I thought I saw a bayonet hood attached to the TTartisan 😅

Das objektiv ist mit manuellem Fokus oder ?
Nein, das Objektiv hat Autofokus und für den Preis von ca. 130 Euro momentan auf ebay empfehlenswert.
What recipe did u use? Cool shots!! 🤍
Its kodachrome64, but a litte bit edit in lightroom.

Which gear do you use to record the whole vlog? I have a gopro but I don't know if it gonna work like your POV or not. I really enjoy your video ❤
I've been using the GoPro 12 with a chest strap for 6 months. Before that I used the GoPro 8 for 2 years. So that works very well.

Das war das Sigma 50mm F1.4 Er hat aber auch das 85mm und 35mm F1.4. Sind mir alle drei zu groß und zu schwer. Wie du sagst, Knüppel 😂
