The collapse is about to start for the Yankees. I have told everyone and no one believed me back in April and May. I told everyone June was going to be the unraveling and the schedule was going to get tougher. The Pepsi North American Cup day (The Queens 10k with NYRR), a new personal record and Cole coming back became a perfect storm. It is about to become a historic collapse we have never seen in ages. We have seen this before but if this happens which I believe it will could be the most historic.
Since Cole got to this team he has been a jinx. Cole blew the only playoff game against the Red Soxs. The Yankees need another ace. Nestor has been horrible !
2 weeks later I still can’t wrap my mind around how we won this series. We have up and down all year. Hopefully both your Yanks and my Braves can get it together. Also thank god for Chris Sale and Marcel Ozuna.
I don’t want this team to collapse either, but if we end up being in the wildcard spot by the end of the regular season, the only good thing about that is that there’s a chance we might get Michael Kay on ESPN.
Good teams don’t get the crap kicked out of them like this. This team is above average, which is probably still good enough to make a wild card appearance. But anyone who is still thinking World Series this year is delusional.

Pretty good, but not quite a Frankie rant. Pete at NYY Underground also did not rant. He said the Yankees lost and lost bad, and that his callers voted that the player of the game is Rodon’s tears! Pete said he still believes in the 2024 Yankees! So do I. Go, Yankees!
At least we learned something tonight and that is Rodon is not the same Rodon when he was with the Chicago White Sox.
