What a treat to have two of my favorite podcasters chatting together ! I consider this as my first Christmas gift. Thank you so much ! It is great to be part of an open minded community of fiber loving makers. I wish you both a super nice holiday period, may you have lots of meaningful time with your loved ones. I wish us all Peace, Health, Empathy, Compassion, Love and Joy for the New Year. May we all have lots of time for creativity and crafting.
What I love about the knitting community is that there are no borders, I can feel the enthusiasm of a beautiful garment someone is knitting no matter where someone is coming from and I love that! I started watching Selmas podcast for the love of knitting and to improve my English and she was someone back then I was able to understand :) thank you Selma and Irina!
Selma is one of my favorite podcasters, and it was fun to hear her answers to all your thoughtful questions. Irina, you have such a natural gift for interviewing. A real pleasure to watch and listen to. Thank you for yet another look into the background of our knitting community.
What a wonderful interview! I watch Selma with great anticipation all the time. It was delightful to get to know Selma better through this interview. Irina, you asked some truly profound questions which opens up the interviewee’s introspection. Thank you for sharing your talent.
So happy to see Selma being interviewed. I was lucky enough to watch her from her very first episode because I enjoyed her visits to Two Tangled Skeins. I still enjoy watching her former partner podcasters, Sue and Liz on the Distant Stitches podcast. Selma always does a wonderful, thoughtful commentary on her sweaters and other projects. Thank you Irina.
Have enjoyed watching and listening to you both this morning, a lovely refreshing return to knit after the craziness of the last couple of days. 🎄🤶🏻 Irina, you have introduced us to so many interesting and stimulating personalities along your podcasting journey, and Selma, I’ve enjoyed your style, taste, and pattern choices since the beginning. You always present something to learn and enjoy!🥰🥰🫶
I am one of the almost beginning watchers of Selma's podcast. I find her interesting, kind, educational, and funny. I like the mood she sets for each one and the travel adventures at the end. Thank you for asking such thoughtful questions that we all got to know more of this wonderful maker.
Two lovely women! I love how you give time for your guest to answer in depth to your questions. Selma is such a beautiful knitter and person. Thanks for the Christmas treat! 🥰
Wow. You did it again. I thoroughly enjoyed this. You are a consummate interviewer. I am subscribed to both of you and always learn something new. Thank you.
Interesting interview. I enjoyed hearing Selma’s thoughtful comments and her project bag is beautiful. I also appreciated your comments on community Irina and am happy to be part of the community you have created
Lovely to get to know more about our dear Selma. Just love this community you have surrounded yourself, and us with, Irina. No matter where I am I feel the love. PS Rica and I had such a great meeting.... thanks to you. How wonderful is the dress she knitted from my yarn?
I was so pleased to see Selma’s interview on your channel. I am one of her longtime viewers and it was so interesting to hear the questions that you asked her were great insight into her knitting. Great inspiring guest, love her. I have also subscribed to your channel as well. Fun and most enjoyable.
Thanks so much for this interview. I’m a fan of Little Big Knits & really enjoyed you chatting with Selma. I was knitting on my Violeta while I watched.
Thank you Irina and Selma, what a great episode love you ladies both so much. You both are so filled with talent and information and wanted to say may God bless you both for sharing it with us. Such great content, questions, and discussion from both of you.❤
it's odd when I think about it, but when I think of Selma, my thought process is "my friend, Selma". Not like my old TH-cam days when we all communicated at length with one another, but Selma often replies to comments and when I had issues with the skirt recipe, she answered helpfully. She's a kind, intelligent human for whom I have respect. This was really fun - thank you both.
So happy to see this interview! Selma was my second podcaster after Joji. I went back to the beginning and watched until I caught up. I always love your questions Irina. You really ask what we are all wondering. In the most professional thoughtful way. ❤️
Thank you Irina for another interesting interview, and thank you Selma for sharing your thoughts. I love both podcasts and always end watching with a little smile
In Quebec (back in the day) we were taught crochet, knitting, sewing, embroidery and cooking in Domestic Science class. I remember my dear mother helping me with the mittens I had to work on for homework! And the dreaded hand-stitched apron with embroidered initial. It’s forever imprinted on my brain 🤣
Selma is wonderful. Love her podcasts on TH-cam. Very inspiring 😊 and so informative 😀And I don’t feel so bad about have lots of projects in progress 😂 wips 🧶
It was so nice to see Selma on your podcast...she is great. I so enjoy watching her podcasts. Fiberchats and Little Big Knits are definitely two of my favorites!
What a wonderful interview, Irina. I’m one of those who’s followed Selma since her days with Sue and Lynn (Two Tangled Skeins). I was fortunate to meet Selma at Rhinebeck in 2018. She’s truly a class act and just as genuine in person as she is on the screen. Thank you and happy holidays. ❤
This was a nice surprise. I enjoy both of your podcasts. I learned Selma’s last name and I never knew how she got started podcasting either. Happy Holidays
What a wonderful idea to interview Selma, and I hope that she will in turn interview you! I enjoy watching both of your podcasts and very much agree that knitters podcasts play a large role in building community. I’m looking forward to what your collaboration will be. Enjoy the holiday season, and I will look forward to both of your next episodes. Cheers!
I really enjoyed this interview. I was not aware of Selma’s channel but I will be sure to check her own. She is a knitter & I am a crocheter but we have a lot in common I feel. I would have answered many of those questions in a similar way!
Wishing everyone a season filled with warmth, joy, and endless moments of happiness! May your holidays be merry and bright, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Happy New Year to All.
Thank you for another wonderful interview. I really enjoyed listening to Selma talk about her podcast. I’m relatively new to knitting podcasts and getting addicted pretty quickly. Coincidentally, earlier today I downloaded the Violeta Pullover - and there you both are talking about it. What yarn did you use for yours? It looks beautiful.
Thank you for this podcast, I just love Selma, she's a corner stone of the knitting community!
Thank you so much for interviewing Selma, Irina! I watch Selma's podcast for a couple of years now and she is one of my absolute favorites!

That’s one of the reasons I didn’t want to limit my channel to just knitting: we all have so much in common, doesn’t matter the medium
