Awesome Pete. So glad to see you getting all those last minute details taken care of. I’m doing the same on my Streetbeast kit. You are an inspiration!
@@PetesGarage Do you mean that there was not a lot of thought given to how the designed product was supposed to be manufactured. Shocking! That never happens...
You would think the manufactures of these project cars would know the people who buy and build them are usually people who want the completed car to be close to perfect. I guess that doesn't make sense! You know my project is of my own doing so I yell at myself all day. That does make sense in some strange way. Happy Fathers Day Pete.
Very nice video Pete. I have here a new, old stock Street Beast kit and I am using your info to work on my kit. I don’t have any instructions for my kit, do you mind if I get in touch with you to talk about instructions on fiberglass parts that I don’t know where to install? Thank you very much for all the nice videos.
I'm thinking an electric trunk release solenoid and using the kitcar supplied cable as a back up, hate to think what you would have to do if the cable was the only access and it came loose or broke!?
Pete, what are your thoughts of using the rivnuts on the frame for the body? I know the instructions call for running a bolt all the way though but my mind went to that when I saw what you were doing.
Well, it's possible. But for the items that get bolted through the frame, like the steering column/dash support, and seat I would bolt through. You could use them on the gas tank, that would be ok.

The entire reason I started this channel. Thanks Max
Pete, thats gonna be a beauty, nice work. God Bless, brother.

Kit = custom. Glad to see you know what to do.
It's a giant puzzle with no picture of what it's supposed to look like...lol

Happy Father's Day Pete!
I'm surprised they weren't ISO certified....lol
Same to you Mike

You would think. The more expensive the kit, the better the fit! Thank you my friend
I have that same trunk stay
It's pretty good
Where did you buy the trunk & hood stays? Thanks
They came with the kit
@@PetesGarage thanks

Sure, I have a digital copy of the instructions
I actually have two books.
Perhaps if balloons were used for context....
Damn, had a whole case in the trunk

Thanks Wayne, my backup will be a small lever hand release.
Pete , did you have measurements for the front hood latch. I don’t see anything in the book. I think I am missing the L bracket too .
I do not, I'd have to make a drawing
Hooray
question: riv nuts at Summit Racing? I'm searching for them but no find. Wrong spelling?
They might also be called “nut zerts”.

Was that you on guitar during the video?
I wish I had the time to do both
