This story is inspirational. Sadly, Ben lost his fight with brain cancer and passed away on Wednesday March 7, 2018. Not before he was able to complete his Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne. Ben was an extraordinary man, dearly loved by many. The grace and kindness with which he faced such a debilitating disease was testament to his immense character. Ben’s passion was to unite people through singing and to that end he directed much of his professional efforts to community choirs. He was particularly interested in giving a voice to those who were marginalised. Sadly missed, but never forgotten. RIP.
