Can't get enough of Tom's presentations on Mindset, can't believe I have spent countless days studying charts back to back yet i remained the same place...in a vicious cycle of win lose win lose....small win...big lose..am drastically making that paradigm mental shift and i can experience it n see it reflected in my charts.

I have tried to embrace this process, of reviewing my trading.
Starting about 02Aug2022, I have been fillling out a daily report card of my trading. Since that time, I have only missed two trading days, both were platform issues and I was tilted premarket, so took the day off. I got the idea from Lance Berenstein.
I have pre-morning checklists to go through, items I write down while I trade... but the bulk of my work is review afterwards.
I record my trading session with OBS, and later review the video. While reviewing, I take snapshots pre-trade, and write commentary while watching the replay. I then upload the video, and link to each trade in my daily report card so it is easier to review again later if I want(I link to the specific time stamp so I when I click the link it goes straight to that trade).
I think I have limited control over the ultimate goal of profitable trading, but I have complete control over the PROCESS of getting there. I see this as my 'trader work,' of annotation and review. It's not glamorous, but I hope it pays off.
I don't know what you trade and how you trade. But I want to give you a BIG 👍for your process. Good Job.

Excellent video. I am not sure how i missed this one. You pointed all the mistakes I've been doing in my day trading. it's like there is nothing in an indicator, it's a battle between YOU Vs. YOU. I've gotten to know a number of successful traders, all having varying levels of technical analysis knowledge. For me, Tom stands out because of the relentless dedication to self-reflective learning that he has. So many good traders acknowledge that psychology is a huge of part of their success, but I believe Tom is one of the extreme few that delves into the understanding of this aspect and is quite open in sharing this with everyone. There's literally thousands of resources out there to teach you technical analysis, but in my opinion, within Tom lies the greatest resource to help anyone become one of the 10% rather than the other 90%. If you don't think this video helps you, you weren't paying attention!

haha, the pattern example u gave at 20:45 is my favourite pattern is like to use to catch the bottom of market with a small SL for last 6 months. i figured out after 2 years its is seller trap which are against the trend . thanks for this worderful presentation tom .

Love the tennis analogies. I’m a clinical hypnotherapist and behavioral counselor and I started day trading in 2020. I began working with traders a while ago helping with mindset and also deeper psychological issues that keep them in the same destructive behavior patterns. Mindset is so important! Everything you’re saying is on point and I really appreciate it. Straight forward, honest and refreshing.
Trader's mindset is so undervalued in this industry - why it just doesn't sell as many tickets as the "secret" ema cross for beginners.
