How cool is that!? Those air vents and the way they catch the light, awesome! 😎 Seeing Neelix with his tail twitching, he know's you're talking about him!
I accepted a few years ago that I'm not TH-cam material, I'm not into click bait thumbnails, I'm unscripted and actually know what I'm talking about most of the time. I also don't seek approval of it's algorithm. TH-cam stopped being "You" tube the moment Google took over and likes to push cookie cutter content mostly making them more revenue. Thanks for checking for new content. In the spirit of the original concept of TH-cam, I tend to create content for the audience who do watch me. I also tend to update my website blog and post there and places like mastodon whenever I have new content.
@@MsMadLemon no worries :) btw...you might appreciate this: Red Means did a load of work to turn some of the Amiga sample packs into useable samples for some of the Elektron gear and did a fun little jam with them: th-cam.com/video/aLJPWWB911I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5AJTU_p5MOBcO8eA
This really worked out very nicely. I love the LED wipe effects. The U64 Elite is a excellent take on the C64 with many useful options. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hiya Maddi ☺️ This was a super cool upload and the finished results are fabulous! I could very easily sit and watch a couple of hours worth of Sid tunes with the synchronised lights dancing back and forth with slow panning shots of the ultimate 64 elite, very soothing. This was a great build to start off 2024 and l look forward to what other projects and upload you have coming, exciting stuff! As always, my best to you, Rich, the C64 sabotaging Mr Neelix and everyone there ☺️👍🏼
Thank you for this very informational and educational 2 part video. Especially the plexi case not being in my opinion worth the aggravation. Loved the info on how to install the led light strip.
Oh i really like the LED strip! The patterns look really good! I was sceptical about the case but now it makes so much more sense. Which tune is starting around minute 21:00?
Oh thank you for the info and time stamp! i‘m so blind sometimes 🙈 scrolled two times through the end credits but only found the channel supporters before… 😅 Have a nice day! ☀️
I wonder how tough it would be to write some code that could run the LED strip directly from an original user port or cartridge port on a C64. If all it needs is +5v, clock, data, and ground, seems like it wouldn't be all that hard.
Finding your channel is the best find of 2024 for me. So hooked
cool. wish I could have one of those for show my C64 SID tunes I composes over all the years 😎
This is on our to do list!! love it!
Thats Crazy Cool!
Never had a c64 Growing up, Cousin had a Apple ][ we played constantly.
But this looks Amazing! Well Done
Hehehe. Now your C64 goes Disco! Very nice result and awesome sound quality!

good job on the drilling in the plexi. it is so easy to crack it. and the end result looks stunning!
That's some very nice visualizations and tunes! Lovely project. It does the enclosure justice.
Good video 👍🕹️💾, good quality sid-music 🎶
No idea why but TH-cam is hiding all your vids from me, and no notifications...glad I checked in to see for myself!

It looks awesome.
Install update to 3.11, enables wi-fi chip and access to Assembly64
Ooo. Retro computing AND cat shaming. I'm all in.
That’s amazing. Looks great with the lighting and your name on the case 😊 Very much appreciated Space Journey at the end there ❤
I am hoping to order Gideon’s upcoming Elite revision board in 2024!

@@newgoat3013 my pleasure. I personally think the plexilaser is worth the effort but it's not for everyone. Thanks for your feedback.

The SID tune is Space Journey by Conrad, I credit all the music in my videos towards the end btw 24:43
