I'm the pilot who flew for you on that day , 7Y413 . hope to meet you two again with better service and bigger , no-prop jet plane ( i wish ) in the future :) Thanks for letting the world knows about Myanmar's current situation
That’s absolutely insane!! Thanks for taking us safely!!! Nothing wrong with the propeller it’s all part of the journey lol! Thank you so much for watching 🥰 praying for Myanmar 🇲🇲💗
Visited NgaPaLi in 1969 with my medical college friends. It was a Fokker plane made in Netherlands. It was a pretty remote uninhabited beach in those days but certainly breathtaking with white sands, blue sea, coconut trees. Love to visit again perhaps when the trouble is over. I have lived in UK since 1978 and I’m now 78. 💕
fun fact: the beach name "Nga pa li" was actually given by the italians who visited there (back in 1826 during First Anglo-Burmese War.) They said the beach was so beautiful they given the name "Napoli" the same city name back in their home town Italy. After some time the name changed to more local friendly pronounce "Nga pa li".
derived from Naples, city, capital of Naples provincia, Campania regione, southern Italy. It lies on the west coast of the Italian peninsula, 120 miles (190 km) southeast of Rome.
I was wondering the same thing. I have been to Italy and thought it can't just be a coincidence. Also don't forget Myeik which is better than Napali in my opinion.
I visited this beautiful country with my husband & kids in 2019 and travelled around a fair bit, I feel privileged to have visited in the brief window that it was open for normal travel without fear. It is a special country with special people I hope to one day visit again. Thank you for showing the world what beautiful friendly caring people the Myanmar are. It saddens me to see it so quiet and the people suffering as it is one of my favourite countries to have travelled too.
The problem is there are people spreading misinformation about what is going on in Myanmar. These foreigners are not stupid. They don't go there to get kill to make TH-cam. They know it's safe and they can make money out of TH-cam.
I am currently live in Rakhine State and There is war fighting near Thandwe airport right now and Ngapali is not safe zone anymore .about 5 rakhine people in Thandwe get killed by drop bomb from air attack from myanmar military this morning .Arakan Army is Fighting back for our freedom. I am really glad you guys get safe travel to Ngapali ( I thought this vid is 1 month earlier than now). I am happily welcome to you guys to visit our beaches and amazing places again when we get our freedom and peace. Thanks for visiting us even with a lots of trouble .We really appreciate your visit . Love from Rakhine ❤

Thanks for doing videos about Burma. I am from Burma and my mother is still living there. I wish I can see her as much as I can but I am afraid of the military. I am having nostalgia when I was watching them. Burmese are friendly and helpful people. I hope one day don’t know when the country will be free and people lives are better. Thanks again
You guys were so lucky you visited Ngapali in April. Right now, battlefields of AA army against Military are so closed to the beach. From June 1st, military banned every VPN in the country so bye bye to all social media (Facebook, X, IG, etc). 80% of people in Myanmar are grass roots. They're barely surviving from starving. Economy has collapsed. Almost every young people (who are considered as future of a country) left the country. It's so devastating as a citizen of Myanmar writing this comment from another country, seeing my beautiful country will never be the same like it's used to be.
You guys were very lucky. You got there and left safely just before the fighting started in and near the Thantwe town, Thantwe airport and the Ngapali beach.
Great video guys. You make such a positive difference and the world seems much better. I have never ever heard of YADANAPON Airline before. Thanks. I love how the Brits never waste any food. The Bay View Resort is amazing stunning , you are both so blessed. Burmese cannot toast as they usually drink tea, coffee or fruit juice. Imagine saying cheers with huge Coconuts in each hand.
The most beautiful and cleanest beach of Myanmar have not been there yet throughout my life now visiting beaches in other countries sadly missed to visit that biggest beach back home
Welcome from ARAKAN.We have a lot of pagoda and beach. You'll be very interest Arakan's ancient pagoda. But now,we're fighting for freedom.Thank You For Coming ❤
So much love for you guys! I'm a Myanmar country man living in the states. Due to ongoing stuff, I can only see my country through your lens. Thank you so much for this. (Of course, liked and subscribed too :) )
Hold up for anything else about this place or anything else in this vlog , I am amazed by how you both so polite and I wonder how many times you both say thank you in English and Burmese !! I would like to say thank you for visiting our country and treating our people with kindness when others r judging , again thank you so much for showing around as well I been away from home since I was 13 so I never been anywhere else in Our country, accept the Village I was born . This is beautiful!! Also thank you for spreading out what’s happening in Myanmar !!
I am stunned with the tranquil beauty there. When you guys first mentioned going to Myanmar, I was worried and just imagine you guys going up the river in a gunboat like in Rambo 4. It has been surreal watching you guys travel through a country engulfed in a civil war and life trying to carry on. Good job!
Thanks god you guys travelled earlier. Now, there are battlefields just 3 miles away from the beach. I really hope one day when Myanmar sorts things out, you guys can come back again and travel around the country freely. There are so much more to explore.
Thanks a lot for a great video blog on a visit to my home country from which I have been away for a long time and miss so much. Hopefully our country will have better days ahead to welcome back all tourists and Burmese diaspora.

You should come to Mawlamyine too which is the third Capital city of Myanmar. It has numerous stunning tourist destinations. Maybe, I can be your tour guide 😁😁. Thank you so much for the vd!
Thandwe Airport is closed now due to the battles. All domestic flights are suspended since the start of June. No one know when it will be opened. You guys were lucky to get there.
The domestic terminal is the old international terminal! The old domestic terminal was quite the experience, with a huge waiting area, non air conditioned (!) and airline agents walking through the waiting area with signs announcing which flight was leaving. Thandwe airport is great and hasn't changed one bit.
You both are lovely trying to say some words of Burmese. At the same time, I am really upset to see the empty beach due to the current conflict situation. I have been there last 5 years ago and it is really beautiful and stunning at that time as it was full with people enjoying the beach.
