I have been to Ngapali when I was young. It looks a lot better than I remember. Especially the food and the furniture. It's one of the cleanest beaches in Myanmar. Cleaner than Chaung Thar or Ngwe Saung.

We stayed at the Pristine Mermaid resort Ngapali just before covid hit. Was amazing. There used to be a row of beach bar/restaurants where we would to support the locals. The waitresses at one particular resto would take turns serving us each night so they could all share the tips we would leave. The wet market in town was great.

I recommend visiting Bagan. The sunrises and sunsets there are extraordinarily beautiful. The area is home to numerous ancient temples, offering plenty to explore and admire.

Visited Ngapali just a week before the road closures in October 2023. Back then, the PVI restaurant was still open. During low tides, you could walk over to the islet on a narrow strip of sand.
And was it lovely? It looks amazing. Wish we could have checked it out

Ngapali is one of the most beautiful beaches in our country. However, i didnt even have a chance to visit there. Thanks for sharing this beauty to the world and yes I have also heard similar stories why it's called Ngapali 😂❤ I really hope you had a chance to visit Bagan, one of the world's wonders!

Trip No.2.Mandalay,Pyin Oo Lwin, Innwa,and Kyauk Se;
Trip No.3.Ako Mountain (Pyi);
Trip No.4 Taunggyi, Innlay, Pindaya Cave..
There are many other trips but not safe..

so truee, me and my family never went out until like 4 when the sun sets. Most of burmease people, and east asians in general want lighter colour skin jus like the ladies that sold you the coconuts sayin that their skin hav darkened. And im surprised you got very honest prices from the local stalls. Even as burmease tourists, we get overcharged here and there.

Not all beaches are called NgaPaLi, there are Chaung Tha and Ngwe Saung beaches and the state is pronounced as Ra Kine ( similar to the -ine from Shine). Hope you enjoyed your stay.
