    It is awesome! I was look something for accurate simple curve (like Spline in 3ds max). Thank you for sharing!

    No idea where 5 thumbs down could come from. This helped so much with the transpose tip you gave. So fast and allowed me to iterate the position of a koi fish moving without much work at all. Thanks.

    Is there a bone or more ridged like deformer in zbrush so that the relative lengths stay the same when deformed?

    is there a way to do this without loosing your subdivisions? (this requires layers baking)

    • @Follygon
      @Follygon  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yep, just delete your subdivs temporarily and reconstruct them once you’re finished using the deformer.

      @@WillPreston3D Subdivisions or layers? You can keep subdivs, but not layers.
      I don't work with layers as I find them fairly useless. They tend to cause more issues and slow down than they are worth.

    thanks for the tip, is there a good way to get large curves changing the end point without deforming the mesh or atleast enough where it won't destroy the shape? Attempting to quickly curve a tail towards my creatures body. Bend curve wont work if I want to keep layers to deform the position back.

      I'm using spiral brush for such purposes, hotkeys b-s-g in zbrush 2021.7

    Hi I have a problem where the pivot points are mirroring each otherr sort of, like the two end ones will do the same as each other, if i pull up they both go up meaning I am unable to get a asymetrical shape at all???

    How do I make adjustments without symemetry? lets say I want one of the ends of my cylinder to be thinner because i am making a horn, whenever I try to scale down one of the ends, the other end seeems to replicate that scaling. Example here: prntscr.com/qy4zg4
