Hey Dave thanks for watching and subbing 😃 whernside or the tarns? I’ll be honest the tarns were new to me(I’d seen them in the distance before but never given them a second thought till recently), I’ve been up whernside a few times in the past, it’s part of the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge
@@milesfromanywhere. I’d originally planned to camp at the summit, only for looking for better parking places than by the viaduct I found a good parking spot a new route up the back, and no one about down by the tarns, the summit was heaving till late
Good to hear the fitness is still there bro. Promising! A nice approach into camp and what a sweet spot to. A bit of sand but the solitude and peace comers out on top. I gotta say you captured the awesome nature of the Dales there - great views. Well, good going. All the best. Mark
Thank you mark 👍🏻 and thanks for watching 😃 Wasn’t too bad really, I was expecting to be blowing out of my ass 😂 Deffo a better route up the back, only seen two people on that route too compared to the one from the viaduct, that was chocca It was stunning though and bonus having the place to myself . Stay safe mate, John
Thank you 😃 Was amazing mate, had the place to myself for the night. Someone was having a rave in distance 11 ish onward, but it was tranquil before that, sunrise was amazing to wake to 👌🏻
@@foresteroutdoors great stuff. Gonna have a camp in kinder soon just to chill out 👍 you’re welcome to join me if you have time. We’ll sort a date out 👍
Ayup, just checking out the three peaks for a camp and found you - I've subscribed, looking forward to catching up on the channel. Forgive me if you've gone into this, but what's that pack - and are those standard rocket pouches on it?
Hey thank you for watching. I don’t think I’ve mentioned it anywhere…but, that’s the karrimor sabre 45 pack with karrimor plce side pockets, I believe other plce side pockets fit it . I’d have to check but I think with side pockets it takes it to about 70 ltr
@@foresteroutdoors yeah I saw the logo on the buckle about five seconds after I asked the question! Has it got a frame? I've got an Berghaus Vulcan at the minute that's seen better days, I think the Karrimor might be the way to go - and it will take the same side pouches. Cheers
Hi thanks for watching, I parked on Thornton lane, there is a track from the back, it isn’t marked on OS as a public footpath but it is a track as you can see in the video. Took about 1.5 hours to get to the tarns from here. A lot shorter than walking via the viaduct route.
Gorgeous work my friend, this whole area is so picturesque and looks somehow adventurous!
Thank you 😃 it really is stunning! It’s no wonder they call it god’s own country!
Great watch, amazing views. Love hearing the birds

Has a removable “frame” looks more like a sit pad than a frame
