Ah, lovely time out on the river there bro. There was a tad bit of rain but this didn't dampen your appreciation any - the river sure did look a picture. It's always impressive when at the base of Coldwell Rocks and Symonds Yat Rock. I've had the pleasure of camping below there and listening to them raptors. Yeah, what a place. And beyond the rapids is special too - that whole stretch. Well, good going. Mark (Hereford)

Hi mark, haha yes! The first day was horrific wind later in the day which made for hard paddling, it was forecast for the rest of the weekend but it wasn’t too bad the majority…the rain however barely stopped, luckily it was warm enough not to matter too much.
That area around symonds yat rock is stunning, you are lucky to have camped there! I watched the ray mears episode he camped there looked amazing.
Thank you for watching 😃. Atb John

@@foresteroutdoors Ah, sounds like it was hard out of the blocks but eased up a little. Hope you get the chance in good conditions. Yeah, it's a great area around the rocks and beyond Symonds Yat to Monmouth. I camped but was warned not to by the game keeper - I was packing up. But all good. A pleasure to watch - have a cool week ahead.

@@Walkingwildcampinguk it can be at times mate, but you’ve got to love it! Think of how many times you been struggling going up a peak but you keep going. There wasn’t much moving water on this river, that makes a massive difference, moving water is way easier…go with the flow 😉
