    Am already on my third replacement and still Orbit Yard Enforcer is going off when cars go by @ 30 feet and yet it does not go off when intruding animals are within a closer distance. very disappointed.

    Just got mine. Had another brand before. I can not get this to activate at all. Water is on. Set it to always on. Plugged in. Brand new batteries that I even tested. It will Not go off. What am I missing here? My other brand would have and audible click when it sensed movement even when not hooked up to water, this does nothing

    I have 2 Enforcers purchased approximately 2 years ago. When I started them up for this season, 1 is not working and the other goes off every 10 seconds or so for about 5 seconds. I wiped both sensor lenses, installed new batterers. Both work if I push the irrigation button on the side but as far as doing what they are suppose to do, in my case keep deer away one will not go off at all the other goes off no matter what is in front of it. Any help to rectify these issues would be appreciated.

    Can you control the distance the sprinkler will spray or the pressure because I am not trying to wet my neighbors yards only my little back yard and beginning right at my back door on my porch.

    They need to make an improvement in so far as connecting the riser mounting arm to the riser. I mean, the instructions plainly state to "slip the mounting arm over the riser". In my case, the tolerances were rather tight as I eventually had to place the bottom of the riser on top of a folded towel, and place a folded towel and small board on top of the riser arm. All of this was to allow me to drive the mounting arm over the riser with a hammer as there was no other way of connecting the two. As I previously stated, the tolerances were rather tight. Yes, I even applied a little dish soap on the inside of the riser mounting arm, but it was of no avail. After I finished driving the riser mounting arm into the riser, the riser was flush with the top part of the riser mounting arm, but that was all I needed to get the Orbit 62100 sprinkler operational.

    Which way does the sensor adjust horizontally or vertically or both?

    I just bought one and having an issue with the sensor range. I have a 22 ft garden with the enforcer set at one end. for some reason with the range set at full, it only covers a 12 ft area, not sure if it's the setting or whatever but only haft my garden is covered. I know it's not the water pressure, it sprays out over 25 ft at maximum range, I'm hoping someone can help, I never owned that brand before

    Just got a new one of these after the old one died. A cat can roam around in front of it within a few feet and it doesn't trigger - what happened? The old one was fine?

      Hello, it should go of for the full range. If you could reach out to us with your contact info via one of our social media channels (listed in the description) we'll get in touch to get this sorted.

    Great overview. I wish I had discovered this video earlier. How does one ascertain whether the sensor is defective? Mine does not even detect my hand in front of it.

    Is there any way I can adjust how far the yard enforcer will spray?

    • @MariaLuluGarza
      @MariaLuluGarza 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm I guess you can control the pressure by how much you turn on the water valve.

    I love this sprinkler except that it is being triggered by every car that drives by and unfortunately we can't move it any further back as them the mailman will get sprayed as he walks across yards. The setting is already at the lowest range. Any suggestions?

    • @orbitsprinklers
      @orbitsprinklers  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There may need to be some adjustment to where the sprinkler is in your yard. If you'd like to contact us on our social media channels with your contact info, we'll get in touch and work through some options.

      I guess I should have read comments first. I see someone else is also having the same issues. Lizkop, did you ever get this resolved?

    I've had this for four years and it rarely picks up cats in my yard. I've done everything short of burying the the thing to get the sensor head as low as possible to the ground. I'm starting to think it was defective from day 1.

      Hello, while some animals can be both harder to pick up and smarter in learning the patterns of the Yard Enforcer, We'd certainly like to make sure this is working to the best of its ability. Please reach out to us by private message via one of the social channels and we'll get in touch to find any possible fixes.

      I understand -- can't even get it to sense my hand in front of it! New batteries, too.

    Ok... Great... But can the SPRAY PATTERN be adjusted? Fine? Mist? Stream? Rotational coverage? Up and down angle? These will be CRITICAL for any product I use...

    Two things we are having issues with. Maybe you can help?
    1: You said the far distance range will reach 50 feet. We put ours on the LOWEST, because passing cars kept triggering it (and wasting water). With the LOWEST range setting, this thing is still triggering with every. single. car. I just went out and measured the distance between the sensor and the closest part of street and it is 47 feet. So with the LOWEST setting, we are picking up cars on the other side of the street as well which is at and beyond 50 feet. Is it possible our sensor adjuster is broken?
    2: We set our setting to NIGHT only. But every day, we have to manually turn it off because it continues triggering even though the objects triggering it, are in full sun and under clear blue bright skies. The sensor itself is in the shade. But again, the objects triggering it are not. They are fully bright midday (clear weather) sunlit. We have had to turn it off as late as 5 hours after sunrise. Does this not work if the sensor itself is in shade? Does it need to be in sunlight itself for it to turn off from NIGHT mode?
    We absolutely LOVE that the cats are no longing digging in our flower beds and that the deer won't step foot near them anymore either. It's awesome!!!! We just want to know how to save water.

    • @orbitsprinklers
      @orbitsprinklers  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, some things you might try are adjusting the angle of the sensor to face downwards more. Also, see if there's a way to position the sensor so that the street is not fully in view but the areas of your yard are still covered. If this continues, Please reach out to our support team and they will get this resolved: www.orbitonline.com/contact-us/

    I need one I can control with a remote from inside my house where I can see on the surveillance camera when these mean stray cats are on my porch spraying my back door or just sitting there waiting for my cat to come out so they can attack him. Seriously its ridiculous every time my cat is outside and these stray cats see him they chase him all the way to his pet door and sometimes even come half way inside my house. I am not abusive to animals but these cats make me want hurt them. Oh my gosh. I am fed up. Anyone have a solution for me?

      Turn this feature off by rotating the dial to “OFF” and holding the 30 minute water Cycle Button for 20 seconds.
