What I like is that you could have edited out the first try, but you didn't, you let us see what you needed to change and its a good lesson learned! Well done Clair 👏 💗❤️💗
Hello Claire. I'm June and new to your channel. I've been watching other artists make these beauties. I love every one that I've seen. Now am ready to try them. I was impressed by how you used tape to make your blows smaller. I have lost the diffuser to my blowdryer. After watching how you adapted I can copy that with mine. Or i could just go find one at a thrift store I realize that the opening will be smaller and I'll need to blow more times. Can't wait to give it a try!! I see that you un did it, but i still think i can work with it
"That didn't go very well"? I think it's gorgeous! Here is what I have trouble with in folks that do acrylic pouring: They try to control. You can't control air except to direct it with the concentrator to move in generally the direction you want to go. The paint does what it wants. We would all be much happier with our art if we let the paint tell us what it wants to be instead of trying to always control it. We have no control over physics and nor should we when it comes to art. Just let it be. There will always be someone that loves it.
So happy to see a pro like you scraping your canvas! It’s good to know that even the best of you flub up sometimes! It gives me hope!!❤ Lovely end result!
It's alright, I suppose, 😂. Great job Claire. I've always been wary of using a coloured base but it's just the right shade. You've got me rethinking things. Thanks.
Beautiful....need to try and do something like that right now!! (I wish!!) Thankyou so much for hint with the nozzle on the dryer. Think my nozzle is a bit too big and part of my problems!! Also thankyou for showing us your first try.....which i would have been thrilled with by the way. But you were right... the second one is amazing. x
Hi Claire, I’m struggling to get my base paint right. How do you make your base paint please? I live in Suffolk and love that you doing a fantastic job of acrylic art.
It is beautiful and inspiring as usual! I so enjoy your videos. The way you think out loud and explain the process is very helpful to me as someone who started this fluid art journey a year ago. Many, many thanks for sharing your talents with all of us. Learning from you is inspirational! 🌹🌹
I've seen many many fluid painting artists but you my dear, you are my favorite! Thank you for not cutting out the first part. We learn from our trials! I really like how you teach and mention the details as well as the products you use and why. You got yourself a new subscriber! Daniela I also wanted to mention that i appreciate your need to have "balance" in your work. Question, could you do a project without cells? Thank you
Hi, I am a newbie so I apologise if this is a dumb question. You kindly share your recipe, thank you so much, but sometimes it appears you pour the paint directly from the bottle. How do you know which one to mix?
The recipe I use for each painting is always in the video description text, if you click the video title the description will appear under either xxx if I pour from the bottle I’ve already mixed the paint in the bottle x x
Love the colors.Only part that was bothering me was the dark eye looking on the left side. It was not as smooth looking as the rest of the painting. With ut harsher, I could see a horse's head ..lol..all in all tho I loved the colors you chose and how you talked about the process all the way thru. Im glad you scraped and repoured. Much prettier.
Just learning some of the techniques for this style of painting. I am thinking about doing a 16"x20" 4th of July Dutch Pour with red, white, blue, mixed with water, and the gold and silver mixed with flotrol. I'd like your opinion on whether these combos will work together. This would be my 1st attempt and I want to get it right.
Thank you for showing the bits that go wrong as well as the bits that go right!!
I would have never thought to save the paint in the corners when you scraped the first one. Glad you showed that. Simply gorgeous!
Thanks so much 😊
What I like is that you could have edited out the first try, but you didn't, you let us see what you needed to change and its a good lesson learned! Well done Clair 👏 💗❤️💗

Hi Claire, I’m struggling to get my base paint right. How do you make your base paint please? I live in Suffolk and love that you doing a fantastic job of acrylic art.
Hi Victoria, I mix the base exactly the same as the colours, 2parts flood floetrol, 1 part paint and 0.75 parts water x
Thank you Claire. Where do you get your floetrol, flood or Aussie please? Being in the UK makes it difficult doesn’t it. 😀
