In this Acrylic Pouring tutorial, I want to try out Rainbow colors but on a BLACK base! 😍 All the colors are mixed with paint and water only. In this fluid painting, I want to go for the criss-cross technique, and trust me when I say - sometimes it doesn't work out perfectly at the first go. So you just need to keep working on your pour painting till you are happy! The outcome turned out absolutely gorgeous!

I really enjoy the black base, the way you make the paint flow on canvas is amazing and your colors are always so vibrant. I very much enjoyed this particular painting, the colors seem to play off of eachother. Even though you had a little trouble at the start, you managed to correct it and once again a beautiful piece of art was born. Thank you so much for your creative teaching!

I LOVE this video because it finally shows one that didn’t go perfectly. I have so many that don’t go perfectly and would love more videos on how to fix things when they go wrong instead of just giving up on the painting and starting over.

I really appreciate that even tho it didn’t work out how you planned originally you not only kept trying, but you still posted it and didn’t redo the video. It’s nice to see you try something new and realize maybe it just wasn’t the best technique, because I’m sure a lot of beginners will start how you started and give up because they messed it up. Art isn’t just about talent- it’s about trying something you’ve never done and working at it until it makes sense. It’s easy to see a final work and think it was made effortlessly. But even the greatest artists in history tried something that didn’t work. It’s the drive to keep trying that makes the end result so worth it.

You are going to have many "disasters" for lack of a better word. I've been doing this for years. I've thought several times, why do I even do this? I'm terrible! But I try again and fall in love with the results. My advice, just keep trying new things!! You can always get great inspiration from TH-cam artists but remember your piece will not turn out like theirs and you never know what beautiful results you'll end up with each time! Just don't give up.

This painting is absolutely incredible. You’re constantly making my new favorite painting but this one is stunning. The way the colors moved together, how they stay true to their own, how they mixed together, the finger dips, the splattered gold paint, all of the shine and shimmer, that sharp clean edge from the cradled wood panel, The perfect resin that literally looks like a bubble of the clearest water you’ve ever seen just reflecting all of the light in color beneath… EVERYTHING is spot on!!
This painting is just breathtaking. I love it. I wish I could afford it. I want to see it every day. I hope another artist is the one who gives this a home because it holds so much beauty and inspiration.

This is simply astonishing! I am practicing Dutch pours but I am having trouble with how much base paint to use. Is it the amount of ounces I would normally calculate for the size of the canvas? My paint was too thin on my last go and was a disaster. I’m going to keep trying though!

Oh my goodness. It's beautiful. Honestly I wasn't sure about it at first. But once the epoxy was put on, it was dried, and the tape was removed; I immediately fell in love!!!!! My 3 year old daughter, who is obsessed with rainbows 🌈 right now, is freaking out (in a good way 😁).
