**NEW DESIGN** Dutch Pour Mandala, LOVE The Result, acrylic paint pour, abstract fluid art

made the pouring medium 2parts pva glue to 1part water by weight, and then mixed 2part pouring medium to 1part paint and 0.5 parts water by weight. I added extra water to some to thin them down so the consistency of all paints was the same.

This is the first post of yours that I've seen. Now I'm a follower. This is beautiful. I knew I was going love it when I saw the pour colors blown out. Pretty pastels. Beautiful mandalas, which are a personal favorite in my coloring books. The gold leaf was the crowning touch. Why not try a full mandala next time and see what happens? I know it would be twice the difficulty, but it might surprise you.

I found myself wishing that there was gold leaf in a few more specific spots, but I wasnt the one getting fiddly with it! Lol

This is beautiful Claire, and a full one would be amazing. I've used gold leaf on many projects and it is very fiddly. For a similar effect try using Pebeo Mirror Effect leaves, I have seen them in gold and silver. Not as fiddly and a fabulous result.

Try pebeo sheets of gold leaf. Olga soby uses it and doesn't seem to have a problem with getting everywhere. Check out some of her videos where she embellished with it.

I've struggled with getting gold leaf everywhere too. I have also had trouble getting the flecks of the portions of canvas that don't have glue. I discovered foil transfer sheets. I've tried Pebeo, DecoFoil, crikut and Recollections brands. I wasn't as happy with the DecoFoil brand, but the others are good. Recollections is my favorite of the 4. I get it from Michael's online; I'm not sure if anywhere else carries it. Olga Soby uses foil transfer sheets too. She has a nice Gold Leaf Embellishments tips guide on her website.
