My mother always kept the dripping from her roasts in the fridge and used that to cook her yorkies. She often put chopped onions in the mixture too which we loved. I cannot tell a lie her meat was frequently like leather but her yorkies were smashing! 😊
Morning Kerry, qr code works just fine and dandy. I use those silicone cases you sent me for doing my yorkies because they come out easily and like you I use my tower with the window as I love watching them rise. I leave my mixture in the fridge just about all day 😂😂. Those look bloomin delicious 😋. I've turned mine upside down on a few occasions but I know it was because I squeezed too many cases in lol. I need to work out how many points they are as I love yorkies, can eat them on their own. Nothing beats homemade. We could see the steam from them. Love a crispy yorkie 😋😋😋😋. My mouth is watering watching you eat them lol. Another great vlog Kerry, have a great day xxxx Jacs 💚❤️
Hi Kerry there's no doubt who the winner is, yours are amazing. If i had the room i'd buy an air fryer oven. I must admit i like the stainless steel hysapientia one better. I got some of those moulds for muffins, i bought the large and small ones. I kept four of the large ones for yorkies as there are only two of us and they turn out lovely. I have the cosori dual blaze, i do turn them over towards the end even though there's an element on the bottom
Hello from across the pond, Madison Wisconsin in the states. Found you a month or so ago and your channel is great! Just made and finished off a breakfast toad in the hole and a Yorkshire pudding in my Air fryer, very versatile and useful device...
My mam used to make them with half milk & half water & let batter stand for a while .She also used to make some with S R flour & they were spongy.Did you know its the same mix as pancake batter & you can serve them with jam & cream.
Being a Yorkshire lass, I've always used the one, one, one method. Depending on the amount of people you want to feed as one or two Yorkshire puddings. Basically get a cup and fill one cup of plain flour, repeat the same level of eggs then the same amount of milk. Season. Whisk to add air then leave on side for half a hour. Heat a knob of lard in pudding tin to sizzling hot. Add mixture into pudding tins . Oven 25 mins gas mark 8 Air fryer 14 mins . Everyone has their own version . Yours looks fab x
My mum could make them so they came out like mini sponges and we had some on our Sunday dinner and some after with jam on she also made them like yours Kerry she asked us which ones and after my brother and i stopped arguing my dad would decide ( this continued into our teens and even after Xmas and easter etc lol ) enjoying your channel 🎉🎉
Ive only had them in a restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in USA. Thanks for teaching me how to make them. I am so proud of you for continually trying new things to increase your views/sunscribers. The qr code is a great idea. You are Wonder Woman!!
Hi Kerry, Interesting comparison! Really u managed probably 24/25 splitting the larger ones. Just an idea, that I use, heat your fats in a bowl in the ping machine, warm your containers on your pre heat then add the fats to them along with your batter, it's a method I use for a shorter cooking time, hope this helps.😊
I've never made yorkshire puddings but I do like them,we used to go to a carvery regularly and I always made sure I had a couple and filled them with gravy 😋 another great video Kerry and how good are those puds Xx
46p for 15 in Lidl if you buy the budget ones. They have only slightly risen though but at least they are Yorkshire puddings. I always make my own though. The larger the container the less you can make and the smaller the container the more you can make.
They look so good Kerry, I did do them once before with your earlier videos, I’m going to do some this weekend and freeze them. We used to have leftover yorkshires with jam ❤️
I've never tried yorkies with jam (haven't lived!) Hope yours turn out well, I'm definitely going to make more esp with some adaptations garnered from the comments. Thank you 💕💕
Think you're right Paul😀👍I need to buy more little metal containers, those ones in the vlog I had found in a charity shop Will look up your recommendation, thank you
@@budgetcookinguk if you can stomach the Winston theme he's good. I think the Yorkshire Puddings are featured on his roast dinner post. Another good one is Rik, Backyard Chief.
Hi Kerry, I really wish I could help you out. I feel for you having to do all these taste tests😂 You really do take one for the team. They look so scrummy😋😋 a definite to make😁 See you on the next one, byee 👋Jen 💕😘xx
The introduction would be perfect for myself too. "Yorkshire puddings, I have struggled with them in the past,' Yes, me, I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt.. No spoilers, so hopefuly this one will work out?
Sss,y for me I don’t think veg oil gets hot enough for a good Yorkshire. I use trex . Which is same as lard I guess, I also use it in pastry. Aw they look lovely yorkies. I think if they sink they are not really cooked through my mum always used to tell me. You looked like you were enjoying that Kerry.. did you cook on air fry , Kerry or what setting please.
Hi Kerry, they look delicious, i always cook mine in the cosori oven they come out really good. Never thought of putting them in silicone , so will have to get some of them . Thank you from Linda C ❤😊
That's ok, it's in the recipe info pinned in comments and in description but I copy/pasted here: (Roast setting 205c/400f) *1st batch took 15 mins - I didn’t turn these as I intended to freeze, if eating straight away, would have turned them all upside down and cook for a few mins extra. *2nd batch took 10 mins - I did turn over to cook the bottoms for further 5 mins. *From frozen: 5 mins (I usually bung in with the roasties for last 5 mins before serving)
@@budgetcookinguk Ha ha! Well they're wrong. You can't measure dry ingredients with millilitres and fluid ounces. And besides, 140 grams is 5 ounces (dry weight).
You've got to have made people go out and buy an airfryer, after showing them what can actually be done in an airfryer?your still turning out good videos?from BIGMICK IN HULL

Corrr that's an idea, will try that with my next batch thank you! 😋😋😀👍💕

Hi There Dear Kerry , A Little drop of water in the Batter mix Help them to be fluffy and light and crisp up Home made the Best yummy Xxx
I will definitely try that, thank you so much👋😀💕

Hi Kerry, great video. I usually add some onion granules to my Yorkshire pudding mix, it makes them so tasty and I use either lard or beef dripping. X

Good with maple syrup when warm
You’re gonna make me get up and make some right now! Yummy 😊
😄👍💕💕
Omg they look so delicious. Since I moved to Australia, mine have never risen like that. Well done ❤
Cook for longer and they might well look like mine Janice😀👍💕 that was my main problem, I wouldn't cook for long enough in a nice hot AF/oven

I put raw chopped onion in my Yorkshire pudding batter, the taste is unbelievable, it’s a thing my Dad has done for last 65 years. Try it

Cold with treacle or butter
I always freeze them or just reheat from the fridge the next day

Oh no!👋😀💕
Hey Kerry. Did they shrink back after cooling ?
So it's not really pudding. I have heard of it so often in shows.
What kind of gravy?
I know which ones I would choose haha

Sorry if i missed it but how long did you put them in for?

It’s in the details at the end of the video.
Kerry - that measurement after 140g Plain Flour looks like it's been copied from the other ones.
Yes, there is a link to the original recipe in the description 👍
