i think you went a bit off trail at the end there - very out of grade for the climb - i seem to remember i did that myself once. you need to know when to turn back back on the route direction earlier and head upwards, but looks like you had fun. very unusual route that one - possibly unique. atb
Thanks for the tips. I did feel like I went off trail at the end and found the trail again, but the extra challenge was a bit of fun. Agree completely - if I wasn't comfortable with the extra bit I did, I would thoroughly recommend back tracking and re-assessing. I never did anything I wasn't comfortable down climbing again. Beautiful scenery all the way and the climb was just the perfect level of challenge with the odd bit of problem solving.
