So who will be 2023’s risers and fallers? Here are five NFL players who are poised to bounce back in 2023, and five who will decline. And a big shout out to Atticus Browning for suggesting this video!

Cousins still had like 7 comeback 4th quarter or OT drives in 2021, tied for 2nd. All weren't wins because the defense gave up so many game winning drives. Cousins has been a top 10 QB ever since the bye week of 2020

Mac Jones is destined for a bounce back year. First, he missed three games due to injury. Second, he had offensive coaches (Matt Patricia and Joe Judge) who don't know offense or how to develop a quarterback. Third, the offensive line was horrible, especially the tackles. Bill O'Brien knows both (running an offense and developing a QB), plus Adrian Klemm knows how to coach offensive line play.

Really love using Pitts and Evans in your countdowns lately. Actually, pretty much every team in the NFC South. There are other divisions and especially in the "one player away" countdown. Once again, the NFC South. Lets find a new list that is more diverse with the other teams that exist.
Joey bosa was hurt all year last year. So as long as Joey's stays healthy (hopefully) mack will be fine. Dude was getting doubled all year with bosa out.

Lamar will bounce back. Idk how long he'll stay healthy, but he's bouncing back. Finally got rid of Roman as OC, got Monken, who's shown to be able to improvise, adapt, and actually scheme a pass game. Bateman also healthy, plus Andrews, plus Dobbins, a top OL, and now OBJ. And the defense is already elite. Lamar will def be better.
LeVeon Bell showed it’s best to show up. Lamar doesn’t have to complete the season
Also, tight end Isaiah Likely should improve this year
The vikings won't have to be lucky if they don't have the 2nd worst defense in the league

As a Hawks fan I'm not sure if Russ will bounce back. I watched that dude make so many plays that blew my mind. He was SO CLUTCH.
But in the 2 seasons leading up to his departure when we let "Russ Cook" he honestly didn't shine much. He seemed to be declining. And he was injured with a rough throwing hand injury that last one.
But either father time sadly hit him Early despite his avoiding hits "even though he was sacked ALOT". And his unreal preparation. But I think a huge part of his success was Pete Carroll's philosophy and scheme. Run first with play action passes. The run game ALWAYS set up the pass game and nobody better then Russ at play actions and broken plays. He was playing backyard football half his career and WR's like Baldwin and Lockett were amazing at improvised plays. But Russ thinks he's a legendary pocket passer. He's not 🤷. His strength is using his legs to avoid sacks and breaking out of thr pocket making pin point accurate throws down field. He has one of the bedy deep ball throws ever because of how he gets the trajectory of thr ball to go up and come down point first dropping it right into thr basket of WR's arms. Giving a corner less chance to knock it down or make a play.
But Geno is showing Pete's a genius. With making Geno a pro bowler despite his early NFL start and sitting on the bench for years. But I do believe Sean Payton is the right man to get Russ back to playing his best ball. So it will be interesting.
Bit if Russ was truly a team player. He would restructure his contract after that abysmal year. Help his team keep thier weapons and get a better OLine! It's not like Russ hasn't made 150 mil already and will make 100 mil more. But he's marries to a superstar pop star who is rich as well. Tom Bradys success was the fact he was willing to take massive pay cuts. Russ should definitely do the same smh. He seemed to start carrying more about being a celebrity then he did football QB later in his career sadly

Vikings we’re also 6-8 in one score games the season before (ie better than their 8-9 record would suggest). Teams like that may not be the best but they can compete with anyone. The odds are that Kirk ends up breaking even in one score games this next season as a regression to the mean.
Fix the defense! Cousins and the offense are fine.
Rodgers is a lot to blame for his performance last year. It can't all be put on everyone else. He missed a lot of wide open passes and just doesn't scramble as well. And this is from a Cheesehead. He was great! But he just doesn't have what he once did.
Wrong right off the get go, Russell Wilson was the same QB in Denver that he's always been. Seattle was never am offensive team, they were a defensive powerhouse with a strong running game.

I think Josh Allen will have a bounce back year. He is trying to focus more on passing and definitely will have a great year
Gabe Davis was really inconsistent which hurt the offense because it forced Josh Allen to make plays with his legs a lot more.

First off, Adam Thielen sucks and it is better for the Vikings to move on. Thielen is way past his prime and just takes up space on the field. Second 11 wins isn’t luck.
