Baker doesn't deserve some of the blame that gets put on him. The Browns are a consistently terribly ran team. He also doesn't do his self any favors. I understand him being upset about the Browns trading for Watson, but he should have let it go a little longer. Everyone knew Watson's availability was up in the air at that time and if Baker had waited he could have started for another year. If he done well enough he could have got a monster contract and a starting job with another team this off season.

I'm probably one of the few people that feels sorry for Josh Rosen. People say he had chance after chance but he also got dealt every year and was set up to fail. I'm not saying he would've been good, but I think he got screwed over.

So me as a ravens fan having watched the 2018 draft, really wanted Calvin Ridley or Lamar at 16, when the ravens traded back to 25 I was annoyed but both fell so both were available, then they drafted Hayden hurst, I got so annoyed it wasn’t even funny, then later on baltimore traded back up for 32 and at that point I knew it was gonna be Lamar since Ridley had already been taken. That ravens 2018 class is already an all time great with Lamar, Orlando brown Jr. Mark Andrews and solid role players like Bradley Bozeman, Anthony Averett, deshon elliot and even Zach sieler became a solid lineman for Miami. I just can’t help but think it could have been even better had they taken Calvin Ridley at 25 instead of Hayden hurst

Going back to the pick itself, I'm also not nearly as certain as TPS (and a lot of media) seems to be that a Tee Higgins or Michael Pittman pick in that spot is actually the thing that potentially gets them over the hump. I know it's one of those things that just "feels right", but really think about it... what is the specific thing that the addition of Higgins or Pittman makes a major difference in to get this team over the hump? There's at most one or two plays in the playoffs that could hypothetically have been that moment IF everything goes perfectly, but that's one very big if. (Honestly, there's an argument to be made that what actually cost Green Bay a their best shot at a Super Bowl bid since 2020 was not the receiver room at all but the David Bakhtiari injury, which was not only completely unforeseeable, but also isn't something that could have been fixed with that pick even if they did somehow magically anticipate it.) And all of this is assuming we still get MVP Rodgers in 2020 and 2021 -- there's definitely a potential scenario where the team drafts, say, Higgins, but then it turns out that without the Love pick to light a fire under him, Rodgers continues to play like he did in 2019 and the ultimate result is a wash or worse. The point is, We. Just. Don't. Know.
Imagine Jonathan Taylor in KC? He'd be wasted there completely. The Chiefs simply don't want to run the ball. Isiah Pacheco averaged 4.9 yards per carry last year but didn't break 1000 yards simply because they're not a volume running team. The game plan in KC is pass first, second, third, and maybe then if the box looks good, throw in a run or two here and there, and it works when you've got a guy like Mahomes on the field.
