  • Review of the Plaiobot Lazengann from the Gurren Lagann series. Compared to the previous plaiobot gurren lagann, the lazengann is a much more simple and sleeker design. Overall most parts arent that big and the joints this time are much more stable, meaning its not too tight to the point where there could be breakage. Most red sections of the kit you see in the video are prepainted parts, but there are some good color separated parts such as the yellow eyes on the body. There are 2 areas that the manual mentions to use glue but one area can be done without it. The kit also provides an extra adapter so that the lazengann could use the jet pack of the gurren lagann. Overall I am much more happier and satisfed compared to the gurren lagann kit.

    This looks like an action figure forced to be a model kit

    Mind the tail. On my lazengann, the socket connection was too tight for the ball joint and I wound up breaking the plastic between the butt and tail. On top of that, I later broke the second tail joint when I was moving it up and down.... glued in place for now while hoping I can get replacement parts lol.

      Yeah based on what I've read these plaiobot seem to have some issues with stiff parts but everybody seems to have the problem on different locations

      @@marasai426 i just broke the ball joint off the tail of my kit while posing it yesterday, the torso keeps on splitting while trying to move the arms since the shoulder joints are too tight, i wish this kit has bandai engineering

      @@carlosalvador3926 yeah there are pros and cons of using and not using polycaps. Pure plastic ball joints tend to be tight.

    I'm super glad this kit doesn't need the stickers as much as the Gurren Lagann. That was a huge let down compared to how good the pre-painted parts look

    How difficult would you say the build is? I've primarily only built hg but I love how these kits look and im really tempted

      If you built gunpla its pretty much the same. Although you do need to call the shots for tight joints and do necessary stuff not to break them

    I cant get the eyes on the chest to actually go in all the way. I see you were able to do it in your video, how did do that?

      Im not sure which part you are mentioning but the build on mine went pretty smoothly in general. But i did sand down some tight ball joints

    Do you need any tools or extra supplies to build this or is it all possible with just what comes in the box?

      @marasai426  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      All you need is nippers and maybe something to sand down the nubs. Same as gunpla

    I’ve never made any type of model kit but I want to purchase this and the gurren lagann, would u say That’s a wise choice?

      Not the best for your firsr kit

    • @marasai426
      @marasai426  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keep in mind the gurren lagann was the company's first attempt on making model kits, its not the best to try our such product since you might get a bad impression model kits in general. I suggest something from bandai such as some MGs or HGUCs, or even 30 minute mission kits to get a general idea

      @@ATOTSINYOU in that case, i dont think the lazengann has that issue. In general there were no areas that were prone to snapping. If i had to say inspect twice, it would be the ball joints for the shoulders since they are the most stiff areas.
