This smartphone's strengths include long battery life courtesy of the 5000mAh battery and energy efficient setup. You have a stock Android One vibe, with guaranteed updates - although it's still on Android 11. The Nokia G21 also offers expandable storage and a headphone jack.
On the flip side you have a basic HD+ IPS display, mono speaker, a simple camera which struggles to focus in ambient light, and limited performance. If you're after a gaming machine I'd definitely say look elsewhere.
So that's my Nokia G21 impressions, but what do you reckon? A worthy smartphone at this budget price, or forget it and go for the Poco or Moto instead?

Pretty good dude I ve had this garbage for almost 2 years I m not picky but it kept breaking like turning off randomly etc dude nokia is a scam I saw all the reviews on this phone all are bad
Not to make flagship phones for Nokia is an option and I respect it. If they would target smaller Android phones (the phones are very big nowadays), like the iPhone they would sell like crazy!

It boggle my mind how they don't see this an option. In a market where it saturated with 6 inch phones or larger, going smaller is the way for nokia, especially if they wants to make budget phones.
Was literally checking my phone when the notification alerts on G21 rang. Watching it on my 4year strong Nokia 8 Sirocco.
Buttons are great for assistant because when you do sometimes use them, by the time you have gone through the hassle of doing all those gestures and taps, its already more trouble
one button is easy, simple, and hassle free, also great while driving

Nice to see that android one is still alive and when well. Last year it almost looked like it was dead in the water. But it seems a few new devices are getting it, which should be good if you need a device for work and personal use and you need to comply with Mobile Device Management policies. Doesn't seem to do anything particularly well other than give piece of mind on OS and security patches though.
Yeah, agreed - I thought it might be dead in the water, or at least we wouldn't see many more releases here in the UK

@@martydav9475 I have to say that my Nokia 5.1 Plus got security patches every month since it launched till it ended late last year. Not sure with the latest Nokia phones now but it seems that the patches don't come as often anymore and certainly not every month on a regular basis. That is sad really.

Thanks for the video. The Nokia smarthones have more advantage, like a good repairing system : dhl came to my house to take the phone and back a week later with after repairing it (tested twice after buying in good price defective phones), and i also tested twice with tws. It’s also more ecological and ethical, with good material and assembly quality… and you mentionned it, one the best updated phones, even if sometimes there’s about one month late to deploy security patchs on some models...

Yeahhhh I thought you wasn't going to show the Sim card slot because you are the only person who does. Can you mention any mid range phone like Samsung or any phone what has 5G, more then 3 years of updates also triple sim what can hold 1 SD Card and 2 Sim Cards all at the same time. Bought a G21 today and I have just spent all afternoon trying to work out what the catch is (I don't game on my phone). Seems quick, big screen, no bloat, all ur android goodness... £129.99. I mean... can't go wrong?
I got it too very recently. Seems fast enough and massive.
And I play poker and fallout shelter occasionally which all run excellent and battery lasts for days.
Well, I'd say the low res screen is a pretty big catch. 1080p should be standard nowadays. I remember my Nokia 6.1 plus cost around the same and had a 1080p display, and a glass back.

Good job NOKIA for back side design and over all upgrade then resent time but public demand punch hole display and less bezel in bottom area.....
If you are working in a corporate environment then Android One based smartphones are the best choice.

Your Nokia is all the way, but new Nokia are not that reliable. I'm using my Nokia 2.3, it's getting slow, Android update is over, compatible only with few earbuds

I don't think so. No doubt, Nokia G21 is a good device in it's price segment but Redmi Note 8 is still not a proper alternative for Nokia G21 as G21 is kinda low on specs. You should buy Nokia G60 instead. G60 will be the perfect choice for you.

Just look up Nokia wallpapers in Google then hold down on the image and tap download image, then go to your gallery and click on the three dots on some corner of the screen and click save as, then home screen, lock screen if both wallpapers.

The Nokia G11 at £119 is possibly better value. It's very similar, only with a 13MP camera and 3 GB RAM.
But I would not recommend against getting the g21 as it is slightly faster, but other than that I'd agree with you

Is it an iPhone killer. Nah. But for the price I'm surprised. Pity about the screen resolution. The apps work pretty quick. I bought the G21 cause I didn't want to pay megabucks for a crappy Android phone.
You should have spoken more about Android 11. I can even use the phone to use my DJI apps, Osmo mobile , even fly a drone or use a camera app as a cheap monitor. Pretty handy on a budget. Thanks for the review!!

Ppl never realize Nokia's obvious advantage from all brands, it's their products' DURABILITY. My Nokia 2.4 keeps on falling and it never breaks.
My Nokia 2.4 literally fell in a pail full of water, after I quickly pulled it nothing's wrong with my phone. Nokia's products are stronger than your relationship with your girlfriends and boyfriends.

I have my Nokia 2.3 . It fell multiple times, not a scratch. I was considering for a while another phone with amoled display, but I'm afraid it will be a cobweb as soon as it falls

I can't think of any new phones that do, but if you don't mind getting a refurbished phone the Samsung Galaxy S10 isn't a bad idea.

Is the G21 a good option?
I've been using it for a year now, its battery is just amazing compared to my iPhone and it's pretty smooth with everything and it's 90Hz which makes it even better but of course you can switch it back to 60Hz. When it comes to gaming, it's an average phone because there is lag of few milliseconds which makes it difficult in most joystick games but otherwise it's a pretty good option considering how cheap and efficient it is.

I own this phone, I'm not very happy with it I don't know if it's faulty but it disconnects from WiFi randomly it's also quite laggy and choppy in the os home screen sometimes and the battery is not very good but I don't know.
How is it now?
