I always thought they should use pocket door between laundry and primary closet. It would save so much space vs the tiny bit of wall it will take to fit it . That way you don’t have a door swinging into either space . I wish they would also use pocket doors between Jack and Jill restrooms it would keep it looking so cluttered when all the doors are open . Now a days pocket doors function a lot better than they used to so there is no reason other than a tiny bit of extra work they shouldn’t start doing this .
Can’t agree with you more. But you know how volume builders build :) I see pocket doors all the time from boutique builders in tear downs, in Austin. So much more practical. But it does cost a bit and volume builders look at their overall volume.
