160 is not that small of a number. First off, most bikes claiming 180+ are making 150... and most 200+ are make 180... so that's one thing to consider. Also, take into account that power isn't everything. You want area under the torque curve, and I bet this thing has lots of it.

I'm sorry Ducati and Yamaha didn't put out GP anything for the public yet. The Desmo was re-engineered and had nothing in common with the GP bike. The R1M is only touted as a GP derived bike because it borrows a few electronics. There's nothing on the R1M that comes off the M1 if you skip the electronics. Its still a Race Replica while this is the actual GP replica. This on the other hand has almost 90% of the features from the RCV1000R in the standard form and a 100% of it with the kit(when the power goes to 215+hp and weight drops to 160kilos).

carbon brakes are dangerous to control for untrained (non-MotoGP) riders, as they do not provide braking power until rhey are very hot and the braking power comes in abruptly. Even MotiGP uses steel brakes when it rains. Also they are not made of Carbon Fiber, but Carbon Ceramic.
